Have been here a short time. Spent my time on outings, exercise and balance classes, and arts and crafts. Everyone has been great, friendly and helpful. Will enjoy it more when weather is better and I can spend more time outdoors.

Staff are kind and courteous to all of us residents.

They are very helpful and genuinely concerned about the residents. We picked up my Mom and took her out of town with us for the Thanksgiving weekend. She had someone on staff call her on Sunday to check in to make sure she was okay and how long she was going to be away.

The staff are always very accommodating to the residents when unavoidable situations arise. I would recommend The Delaney at Waco to others looking.

Clarendale Six Corners is an excellent option for senior assisted care living. It's located in a new building that offers beautiful apartment options with great views of the city. The admissions and executive staff is professional and very accommodating. The assisted care, supportive health care services are very good and thorough. The staff is very attentive and truly cares for the well-being of the assisted care seniors. Clarendale's food service is very good, with excellent, high-end restaurant-quality options. Clarendale offers numerous social activities for seniors, keeping them active and fully engaged in their living community. Overall, Clarendale is a very good senior living and assisted care option. I highly recommend this facility.

Interactions with staff have been pleasant. Mother likes the food and activities. Packages get delivered to her room if too large for mail box. She initially thought she would not need the kitchen but has utilized it and is making Christmas cookies.

We feel at home there and trust they do what they say they will do. Very warm and loving staff. They communicate well. We feel Mom is well taken care of in the memory care unit. Lots of activities- love that they have dedicated staff everyday for activities.

We all love it. The staff is wonderful and the facility is very clean and well kept. The only thing that could improve is the food. The independent living side alone should bring in enough money to pay for a good chef. The food is usually dry and overcooked. Other than that, I think they do a great job.

Richmond Place, as a facility has exceeded expectations. They worked with my mother to establish a price point that was within her means, and offered incentives and bonuses in the negotiation process. The facility is light, airy, clean, and well run. Safety is a premium, with many handrails and no steps. There are emergency pull cords in every room and the food has exceeded my mother‘s expectations. The courtyard is beautiful and the entire facility seems well run. The only downside that I have noted to date is that it is just a very large facility. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but take some getting used to adjust to a facility of that size. I understand that the facility has been sold to another corporation, and we are hoping that the new owners are as diligent as the owners clearly are.

I have been living at Richmond Place for almost three months. I have a 2 bedroom apartment in independent living. I like my apartment very much. I am involved in some of the many activities here and have found them to be a good way to make friends. The staff here are very kind and very willing to help you with anything you might need. The food here is very good and there is a good variety of foods served. I feel the cost to live here is comparable to other facilities and I feel it is reasonable.

All good, only complaint is a little lack of communication from staff. We picked them because of the appearance, others were stuffy, small, cramped

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It really feels like a family. I have interviewed or toured approximately eight places and nothing came close. The food is phenomenal. Everyone was warm and welcoming.

This place is fantastic! It is a beautiful place to live with wonderful neighbors and friends. The staff is amicable, from management to housekeepers, care staff, maintenance, and waitstaff. They are accommodating and make us feel at home. I have lived here for almost five years, and I can tell you things have improved since the new Director started. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for senior living with compassionate and friendly people. We are Delaney Parkway Lakes!!!

Everything has been good, the staff seems to be very nice, housekeeping comes in to clean my room pretty good. My daughter in law comes to visit and a nice man sit with me at lunch sometimes we talk sometimes we don't.

This is a nice place and I do appreciate the nurses here but I know my care needs can be more than they can manage.

I really like it here, and feel very comfortable its a beautiful place and the housekeepers keep my room clean. The other residents are pretty friendly. I enjoy activities with them but I wish they would remind me of the activities.

My mom was an introvert and she really blossomed at The Delaney. I was so happy to have found them. I have actually recommended to others already. I always have glowing things to say about The Delaney. We picked them because, It had both independent living and assisted living and it was clean.

We first connected with the Avalon because of a need for respite care for my mother-in-law while my wife needed to go out of town for her work for a week followed by surgery and recovery for a 2nd week. Most assisted-living facilities, memory care facilities, and nursing homes do not offer respite care. Those that do, require a 30 day stay. We did not need a 30 day stay. The Avalon only required two weeks. I am surprised that more facilities are not as accommodating as the Avalon. Many people needing respite care will eventually require their loved one to live in such a facility. What a great opportunity for people to connect with the Avalon. There is a huge need for respite care for caregivers. We applaud the Avalon. More places should be as accommodating as the Avalon. My mother-in-law ended up spending two more weeks for some needed physical therapy. At the end of her being there for four weeks, we determined that her dementia had progressed to the point that we could no longer provide adequate care for her. She had lived in our home for four years, and it was our hope that we could care for her until the end of her life. We had come to the place where that could not happen. [name removed]and [name removed] handled the administrative details in getting the respite care in place and in transitioning to long-term care. Both of them were exceptionally kind, accommodating, and effective. The facility Nursing Director [name removed]and the memory care floor Director [name removed]were very good about partnering with us to make my mother-in-law's stay healthy and comfortable. They had outstanding attitudes whenever we had question, a suggestion, or a concern. On the whole, they were good about getting back with us in a timely fashion. The memory care unit nurses and staff were amazing. They were beyond kind to my mother-in-law and us. They provided loving care. My mother-in-law went into hospice care while at the Avalon. The hospice case manager said that she is in a lot of assisted living, memory care, and nursing home facilities. She said she had never seen Staff continue to be so concerned about a resident after transitioning into hospice as was the case with the Avalon staff in regards to my mother-in-law. When my mother-in-law took her last breath, my wife was by her side with a few staff members behind her shedding tears along with my wife. Basically, staff showed us and my mother-in-law great care and love. Foundationally, isn’t that what we really want for our loved ones that have to transition to assisted-living, memory care, or nursing home? During the many times we were there, we never saw a staff member treat any of the residents in an unkind way. It was impressive to watch how they were so patient. People in memory care can be a challenge. The Avalon staff were exceptional in how they handled matters. The Avalon has a contract with a physical therapy company. My mother in law received exceptional therapy sessions from a therapist named [name removed]. In addition, she was very kind to my mother in law and us. We were impressed by her personality and how great she was about consistently communicating with us. What a jewel she is. When you enter and tour the Avalon, you will notice it is very stylish and clean. The hallways are wide, and there are multiple lounges on each floor where families can gather with their loved one. You are always greeted by an exceptionally kind concierge at the front desk. Before we decided on the Avalon, I visited approximately 10 assisted-living, memory, care, and nursing homes in the north Columbus area. I spent time on the phone with many more. The pricing for the Avalon is similar to that of other facilities in the Columbus area. We visited some facilities that were even more expensive. The meals are good and they have an alternate choice each meal for those that do not like what is being served. They have a tall van so they can take residents to area restaurants and outings. They can also take residents to nearby doctor appointments. Was the Avalon experience perfect? No. But, I cannot stress enough how comforting it was for us that they considered us to be their partners as they provided care for my mother-in-law. It is important to remember that they have to provide consistent and detailed care day in and day out. It is not an easy thing to do. It would be our recommendation that the families of people going into care draw close to the staff and administration. They do not need to become your best friends, but get to know them. Initially, visit your loved one frequently and at different times during the day. Staff will see your concern, and you will get to see how things are handled. Show kindness to the staff. Don’t look at a staff person as another “faceless person” in your life. Learn their names; greet them. As we moved my mother-in-law’s things out of her room and left the Avalon for the last time, we were hugged by the staff as we left.

I will give Freedom Square a 5 for every category. Meals and dining deserve a 6 if you can score that high. We could not be more pleased.
