I left Havenwood of Minnetonka. I am now at [facility removed]. People kept leaving Havenwood. When they could/did replace staff, most didn't know what was going on. Medications were given late and the staff often didn't know what they were giving. When I gave feedback, met with management, I was told that I needed to move. I was informed that I took too much work to care for (they didn't have 24/7 nursing). I noticed that they would bring in new clients that appeared to take more time. When management was not in the office/location staff often did little to no work. Response time (to pushed buttons) was often affected.

I do not recommend the Arlington of Naples. Be careful this is a continuum of care community and while this may seem like a good idea for your family member there is not any incentive to manage any increased medical needs and transfer from an assisted living room to a skilled nursing room will be required. The cost from assisted living to skilled nursing is significant. This facility does not accept Medicaid so skilled nursing will be out of pocket. Before you sign your loved one up for the Arlington check the cost of their skilled nursing facility.

We regret ever buying into Freedom Village. The sales team did an excellent job of painting a rosy picture, making it seem like we were investing in a facility that would make life easier and provide a wide range of reliable services throughout every stage of care. However, once you’re in, the reality is starkly different. Despite the promises of convenience, care, and accountability, there is absolutely no oversight or follow-through—whether you’re in independent living, assisted living, or memory care. They constantly claim, “We care about your loved one,” but those words are nothing more than hollow platitudes. Time and again, we’ve experienced broken promises and zero accountability, from the front desk staff to upper management. Incidents such as falls are handled poorly—good luck getting an incident report with any meaningful details.

Havenwood of Minnetonka boasts that they won the JD Power Award five times. That may be true, but at the end of the day, they are just another ruthless landlord. Their leases are airtight. They have a team of lawyers to defend their financial interests. They will use high pressure sales tactics to push aggressively for you to sign a lease before necessary, even after they assure you that your $[removed] deposit guarantees your reservation. Upon signing, you will pay a non-refundable $[removed] "community fee" and the first month's rent of $[removed], even if you sign in the middle of the month. If your loved one passes away 4 days later, too bad. Even if she never steps foot on the property, and receives no care. Even if none of her belongings are moved in. Even if the only time you ever step foot in the apartment is during the tour. If you ask for a refund, the Executive DIrector will say, "I'm very sorry for your loss." But there will be no refund. They have no compassion for you. Caveat Emptor!

Couldn’t move my mom out fast enough. Staffed almost completely with Agency aides who had no interest in providing care. Activities were almost non-existent. Management hid in the office - complaints were never addressed.

Applied for the chef position about a month ago and got ghosted twice by the Executive Director. When she finally contacted me back, it was to let me know that they already hired someone else and to "keep them in mind". WELL, guess who is hiring a new chef? Clearly the work environment and working for [name removed] must be a complete mess. Despite these thoughts, I reached out and tried to see if I could interview again as she did say to keep the property in mind in the future. Guess who got ghosted.. AGAIN. If the exec director cant even bother to text back a simple "hey yes lets set something up" or "no not interested", imagine how she will treat your family members here. To say that I am extremely disappointed, especially for how many glowing reviews there are, is an understatement. If you are planning on working here, STAY AWAY.

My mom lived in Heritage Village for 3 years and it is a totally broken facility. I observed no leadership or supervision in memory care. I addressed issues and these major problems were never addressed. I don’t recommend Heritage Village.

My mother has fell twice in night activities room. She has fell six times from her locked room. Room has not been secured so a man stood overtop her in his underwear. No aid is trained regarding oxygen usage so they ignore when oxygen units may be non working. They do not check them. No aid is professionally trained to give patient care. No STNA credentials. My mother has had food dropped off and no assistance with eating and she needed it and some nurses were aware. I have had to fold her clothes and put them away when this was supposed to be done by facility. I found toilet not cleaned with residue left on commode seat. I have found a washer smoking profusely and no technician or management was called let alone fire dept. I have found portable oxygen NOT operating and I found the concentrator in her room not ON and also not working on another occasion. Since I have complained, I have been told that I am not allowed on premises. I will be reporting to ODH, office of Aging and the AG.

Our meals at the Clarendale at Indian Lake in Hendersonville Tennessee come with free drinks, and free desserts. At night our meal includes a free dinner roll which very seldom is served. Getting the drinks is no problem, but getting served to drinks is a big problem. We reset 20 minutes last night waiting for a server to ask us if we wanted desserts They were more interested in cleaning off tables. So we left. This is an every day occurrence. It’s a shame such a nice place could be so poorly run.

disappointed in harbor village. I would not recommend this place to anyone. You’re better off leaving your loved one at home to fend for themselves and save you the money and increase rates. There team and employees look all burned out tired and walk around stressed and unhappy to be there. For the money you invest in a company you would think you would hire more help during the enevings. But it’s nice to know they are redoing all the carpeting because the building looked old nice to know that’s where the money is going instead of to the extra care staff and nurses on the weekend and evenings they need due to all the questionable things happeneding here. Save the money don’t do it.

Medication confused with other residents and given Med changes not updated Promise of nightly 2 hour bed checks completely false ED more concerned about night shift staying busy interrupting sleeping residents to gather laundry and return clean laundry while turning on lights and often leaving them on than being respectful For residents with family nearby, be prepared to do the work of aids on a daily basis If residents in memory care want coffee with breakfast, good luck, esp on weekends If residents want butter, salt or pepper, hot coffee, hot soup, hot meals, forget it Dining in assisted living affords memory care residents the opportunity to be treated humanely and given choices, but a family member or friend must take them downstairs in order to do this The flooring in memory care extremely slick when wet, falls occur No activities bridging for the various level of dementia in memory care 9 to 5 front desk clerk rating 0 admin pits one family mbr against another for business

NEGATIVE STARS. You will be told the Clare is one of the nicer facilities and it may be true for the nursing home portion however I have nothing nice to say regarding their rehab center. I met [name removed] the case manager to tour the facility and discuss what my mother had been through and the level of care she required. I was told the Clare was more than capable of handling her needs however that was a blatant lie. This is NOT an adequate rehabilitation facility for post hospitalization patients. The staff is under trained, under qualified and under staffed. I was incredibly clear on my mothers condition and the level of patience and care needed to keep her comfortable. Not only did they not respect our wishes; they did the exact opposite. They bullied my mother and when she asked them to please be more gentle with her and to stop hurting her she was told if she didn't like their treatment she could go back to the hospital. My father entered short term rehab from a fall for 17 days in [date removed]. In 17 days this facility managed to lose not one but both of his hearing aids. The value of these hearing aids was 12k. When you register the facility requires you to list the patient's property and value of the items. Cypress Village made no effort to safely store my father's hearing aids. Both of the hearing aids were not lost on the same day they were different days. This facility made no effort to learn and prevent the loss of the second one after the first one was lost. Part of my father's cochlear implant was found in the dryer. The other parts and the second hearing aid were never found. I placed signs in his room with pictures of what the hearing aids looked like for the staff to make sure they had not fallen off in the bed prior to changing the bedding. My father was unable to get out of the bed to charge and store his own hearings aids. This facility took no responsibility for this loss.

Continually short-staffed in the medicine administration area, causing many late med administrations. My mother, who has chronic pain just went through a half-day of distress because her morning medications were not administered to her. I was on site at the facility at the time and found that there was no nurse on duty, and only one med tech who was overwhelmed and referred me to Management. This ongoing issue is the responsibility of Management to address and correct, and I have gotten no response from top leadership when inquiring about it. This should not be happening given what my mother is paying to live here and obtain the staff services.

The Delaney lulled me into making the worst decision for my 94 year old mother. In the two months she lived there, she was treated with disrespect. She did not receive the level of care The Delaney told us they would provide and for what we paid for. I had to bring in private help to assist her. The staff neglected her because she was needy. It boarded on elder abuse. What was really telling was when we told The Delaney we were removing my mother, we did not receive one phone call from The Delaney as to why? I am considering filing a complaint with the State.

ML’s selling point is that there’ll never be a reason for you to have to move out. Not true! Once my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and there was no care in place for her due to a 22+ resident waiting list at The Springs, she was forced to move into a new community. ML charged a penalty fee of 3 months rent. The value of her apartment had increased considerably since she moved in during the recession so they were making a lot more money by her leaving and still they refused to waive the penalty fee. I asked the ED to explain how they could justify doing so, and to specifically state what alternatives of care they would have made available to her while she waited a year or more to get into the on-site memory care. I’ve been waiting for a response since [date removed]. ML also tried 3x to charge us [fee removed] to replace my mother’s carpet and paint her apt when she was on the plan to have it all paid for by ML that same year. Profits over resident care.

My mom suffered there for 3 weeks and we got her out as quick as possible. It was a costly mistake in that they did not refund us any of the set up fee. For the 1st 8 days she was put in isolation(Covid) and given cold food 3 meals a day, food was better when my dad could take her to the main dining room.

Sale department sells homes as 24 hour care and it’s not true after nurses leave cna or caregiver decide what is good for the resident. After dinner you can not find a single soul in building 1 and 2. I walked over to building 1 for help and there is no one the front desk doesn’t know where people are at. The girl I found sitting on her phone on the couch with legs up. They always have new people working or people from temps working because no one stays long enough to know there name. The leadership is nice but seems like they find excuses why they can’t keep staff working in there entire campus.

I would tell others - DO NOT send your loved ones here - ever!!

The staff is unhappy. Everyone is over worked. The care team is stressed out and miserable. The food is horrible. Not enough staffing in any dept. Activities are non existent. The place is filthy. Lots of new faces which says the staff turnover rate is unacceptable. The weekends are abominable here. Visit this place on the weekend to get a real sense of what goes on. Minimal staffing on the weekends. No weekend supervision. Highly recommend going to the new [removed].
