They have been under a couple different management companies. It took me over a month to get a fob to get into the door. My wife has been hit by other residents more than once in the memory care area. They seem to do very little in terms of engaging patients. It took forever for them to evaluate her medications, it took months. Last week, the DON quit. I do not know who is filling that position currently. Feces was found in her shower numerous days in a row. My loved one has been having laundry issues, missing her clothes, lost her blankets, etc. The staff in her wing are great, they do a great job with her. My loved one is not sleeping and it is not being handled to make sure she is getting sleep. After a review of my loved ones medicines, the staff couldn't even access her medicines while on a zoom call. They blamed switching companies again and no one seems to know what is going on.

It is a very clean place to live. The building itself has spaces for the residents. There is not enough staff, and sometimes hard to find staff when there is an issue. The main dining room is on first floor, and the food is delivered for the 2nd floor dining room, and by the time the residents get the food it is cold.. Bingo, cards, activity packets, movies, happy hour, gospel singing, and more are some of the activities are available for the residents to participate in.

We had a good virtual tour at The Delaney. It looked pretty nice. We actually liked the aesthetics and appearance better than the place we chose. We just couldn’t work things out dollar-wise at The Delaney.

It's nice on the outside as well as the inside. But my loved one doesn't really get much care. I've asked them if they can at least remind her to brush her teeth, but her toothbrush always looks like it hasn't been touched in days. She has the same clothes on as she did days before. They don't close the blinds for her at night. She's a really easy dementia patient, and just small little things like that could make such a big difference for her. But they don't do them. Their TV "programs" are just infomercials all day not long and not actual programs. I'm not too pleased, especially for the price.

I wouldn't recommend the community to others. There was a big change of attitudes by the staff in the last three weeks. The communication from the staff was hard for them to stay in contact with the family or return phone calls.

I don't have anything to compare this to. I chose RP because the apartments are huge & I didn’t have to downsize my furniture; & I love the libraries and courtyard. I rarely eat in dining room & will grab my food to go & take it back to my apartment. It’s nothing against the facility, I simply enjoy eating in the quiet. I do wish there was more options. For lunch, it was a grilled/fried fish. I would have preferred the options of fish or turkey. The staff is fantastic. They took such great care of us during covid19. They made many activities available for us while stuck in the building. I do not participate in the activities by choice, I would rather have quiet. But they are there in case I ever feel up to it. If I had something to complain about, I live not too far from elevator #2 on the second floor. It can get a little noisy, especially with the construction remodeling going on. Oh and the staff always calls you by name when passing them, and this means a lot to me!

It is wonderful that my wife and I are in the same building and I can be with her, especially for all of the meals. We are still working out if we can get more flexibility on the menu and we think that could be improved. Other than that we are doing just fine here.

This was a nice community but we were sold on another community due to the executive manager and the connection that we felt.

The pool is a major disappointment, as the deepest part is 4 feet only in the middle, and there is only six feet wide.. There is no good place to stretch in the pool or exercise. They need more staff to be able to assist the residents. The food isn't well prepared, and often comes cold. The rooms are spacious, though.

Our family had an in person tour and it felt very much like an industrial warehouse. It was not very farm, and when you looked down the hallways we did not see any staff or residents, it just seemed dark.

Our family had an in person tour and it was so nice we wanting to get on the waiting list immediately, it was out top choice. However, we were working with a hospice nurse who said that The Delaney is a good community but because it is so large your loved one may get over looked. We also felt like they were not geared towards those who needed quite a bit of assistance.

They have a happy hour from 4-5, and now it is canceled all together. I feel good about the staff. The activities have stopped due to covid. The location is good its just hard to judge during these covid standards.

Our family had a virtual tour and our loved ones felt like the community was to small, and really did not care for it. Also they did not like the specific location it was in.

The community is nice. The sales guy makes it seem like Club Med and it isn't. The confidence of the staff is getting better and the responsiveness of the staff is getting better towards the residents.

It is a good place but not someone with memory care needs. My loved one declined quickly when they entered into the community. There was a medical issue and we are unaware of how long it was before the staff were made aware of this. They couldn't take care of my loved one needs even though they said they could during the initial assessment.

We virtually toured this community and it was very nice. The staff was very friendly and shared a lot of great information. The tour was good but we couldn't do an in-person tour due to Covid.

Only independent living available. Did not receive brochure. Person I spoke to was very easy to speak with. Did not see any residents moving around in the facility. Very quiet in hallways.

We did a virtual tour with the community. It was very nice and the staff was friendly, they answered all of our questions and tried to make the virtual tour as good as it can be.

I don't think the training was good, or enough professionals there. They weren't equipped to handle my loved one. The community didn't know how to handle my loved one with taking their medications, the staff would even call me in the middle of the night. There was nothing I could do in the middle of the night. Clarendale ended up sending my loved one to the hospital due to the agitation my loved one experienced with taking medications. I also feel they weren't attentive to my loved ones needs. This would be a great community for those individuals who are able to participate in their daily living activities.
