Love the entire facility. The only drawback was the price. We still need to compare with the others, but it seems very high. This would be an insurmountable hurdle since my mother's assets are limited.

I did much research when I had to find a suitable place for my uncle; it was not easy because everyone assures your happiness and then you get there it is not what was originally promised. I have heard many a story from friends and neighbors which made me even more fearful. I knew I could not just rely on what someone else said or what I read but I ultimately had to see the genuine care and consideration for my uncle myself. I realized that could take some time but we were out of options and time; my anxiety was at an all time high and by absolute luck, I found Richmond Place. I looked at reviews and other communities but a couple of weeks ago, I did what my good friend suggested; talk to the people there. I did and learned that they were under new management and there was a calmness I felt after that. I know it has not been long but I cannot tell you the absolute relief and comfort I have in learning of these changes because that was what it took to get my uncles apartment. I may have began this journey somewhat pessimistic but I am so pleased to say that I can rest easy now.

now Ashbury Place-Looked very nice, we only saw the assisted living side, at least the assisted side bedrooms did not have much privacy. If the independent apts have move privacy we'll look at the Independent living side on Tue 12pm.

Very modern Great amenities the tour felt rushed

Overall the facility is beautiful and one of the top ones in the area. I toured a lot of them. I do think the monthly dining could be revised. Would be nice to have a plan A and B. Maybe the plan B has 20 meals each vs. the 30- something just a little smaller. My parents hardly get all of their meals in which at the end of the day ends up being a waste of money. Danberry is the most expensive facility in the area and cost is something my parents are always mentioning but its one of the best if not the best. You get what you pay for! The dining hall is always slow for service but the service is great-- just a slow wait for food to be brought out. Great tasting food! I have not been impressed with the physician on site. I think she does a disservice to the Danberry name- seems unorganized, not around a lot and I scheduled my parents to have their health care elsewhere-- I did not trust her services. I'm honestly not sure how she still has her license. Wish they had more creative/art classes- I think that suits alot of the demographic whether they are artistic or not. Some are not mobile but can always sit and do art of some kind. Wish they had a few garage facilities for an extra fee- some of the other facilities had that option. I know my dad likes his car parked inside- that was an issue for him during their transition.

Super place! Few little things could be better and more reliable. People are very good, especially those providing services to the residences. Some of contracted services are unreliable.

Heritage Village was absolutely beautiful, and [name removed] was very helpful. It was clean and well-kept and a newer facility. the only downfall was the memory care was on the 2nd or 3rd level and you needed to use the elevator to access it. Staff to resident ratio is either 1 to 7 or 1 to 8. Which is very good. Heritage Village had all the amenities I was looking for. However it is a little further than I wanted to go.

Impeccable facility, very accommodating staff, but perhaps too extravagant for my family.

We recently moved to Houston area from Alaska, I moved my dad down and was able to get him into Delaney. [name removed] helped in making the transition smooth thank you!

My mom moved to Assisted Living Gable Pines in September 2017. She had a very difficult transition and we realized she needed more direct assistance so a change to Memory Care was necessary within 3 months. We have seen changes in staffing on all levels and they have worked towards consistency and quality in hiring. My mom's needs have always been addressed even as her needs have changed. She feels comfortable in her apartment which is large enough to provide her with space to relax and overlooks the garden area. A dedicated Memory Care Director and kitchen and activities staff add to the improvements along with environments that are dementia friendly. Many positive things are happening at Gable Pines.

Good care, some odd vegetables. Would recommend to others.

Beautiful Gold Coast neighborhood. Very secure but Memory care not suitable at this time. Only a shared suite. Dining area was dark and cramped. Also, very expensive and probably too much of an urban environment for my loved one. Did not tour assisted living but may be a good option fo those who don't need memory care and who want to be in the heart of the city.

Beautiful facility at a close location. One bedroom studio was good set up which th accessibly toileting. The 10 day minimum is not conducive to our needs at this time.

Nice community. Not as new as some of the others, however they are remodeling and painting in some areas to give it a more modern look. A very historic residence. Have quite a full activity list and residents seem to be busy. They were getting ready for music and a Happy Hour while I was there.

Second choice we met with [Name removed], and wish they had a central atrium meeting area with brighter colors this would have been a plus. [Name removed] was good, very informative and we attended some meeting that were a plus for us in applying for Aid and Attedance.

Good. The staff were friendly and the residents stopped and talked to my dad while on the tour. Will come back with my siblings.

My mom is well cared for

The Delaney bills itself as a fairly luxurious facility and it is. The food is not that good though and the menu is always the same with little variation. There is a very large turnover in the administration staff and we are having a hard time getting all of the things that we were promised delivered. It is a beautiful facility and everyone is very friendly and helpful. I wish that they were more persistent in encouraging my Dad to participate in activities.

Very friendly, clean, happy clients, great menu, but no fenced in place for our dog. Lots of things going on. No trees,not close to our doctors/hospitals. We need to work with our sons to determine what we can afford, but the rooms were small, some not room enough for my sewing machine.

A great place to live or do therapy. Very clean and very thoughtful, kind people work here.
