I'll start by saying it is almost impossible to be "5 Stars", only because this is a tough business. And a perfect score is unrealistic. My aunt, dad and mother all live/lived at Monticello West. The property has changed hands (new ownership) a couple of times, but the PEOPLE and culture are what makes this place. Having spent so much time there, I can easily rattle of a dozen people that have been there a long time and know me and my loved ones by name. I have had experience at newer "shinier" places, but none of them have the people and stable culture that Monticello West has. And the facility was updated a couple of years ago. Complaints about food are universal at ALL facilities, so the 3 stars for meals and dining should not be a deterrent. All places brag about their food, but the demographic they serve is hard to please.

The staff was extremely accommodating during the move-in process. They recently changed management groups and we are still trying to understand exactly what that means for our loved one. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

Monticello in my opinion is a very good facility, and I am very grateful.

The staff was friendly and the community was neat and clean. This is an assisted living community and makes sure you know what your loved one needs and what kind of care is needed. Overall the community is nice I would recommend this community for a loved that needs just some assistance.

Mother has lived in Signature Point for the last 5 years, from Independent Living to Assisted Living and now Nursing Home. During her stay she also experienced the Skilled Nursing Unit and COVID-19 isolation and restrictions. We find the facility and staff helpfull, courteous and infomative to the needs of our Mother as well as extremely protective of her environment and exposure during Covid.

I would suggest you look at other places and then decide. If it wasn't for the food situation, I would probably highly recommend it. Due to the food situation I would hesitate. The community sends out the menu, and the food is rarely what is what was described on the menu. The flavor is mediocre at best, and poor at it's worst. It is also the way it is cooked. It seems to be over salted sometimes super salty.

Found the facility to be clean and had all of the amenities. I felt the 1 br was too small and the 2br was too big. We would have to look at the cost difference to see which is best. Smaller number of people there (around 85)

This is an older community, but it has been well maintained. My friend lived in the apartments of the independent living. They had huge windows to allow natural light come in the living room and bedroom. It was nice that I would want to live there. This felt like a Hyatt compared to a Motel 6 in regards to communities in the area. The staff made arrangements in meeting other residents if you wanted. My friend bragged on the food and they had specialty items for dietary restrictions. They have house cleaning twice a week. They came in remade your bed, changed the linens out and laundered them for you. They even had a gym on premises. The staff were always nice. My friend moved out and considers themselves ruined by the great care here. You could order food ahead of time and have it delivered. They had a grocery area to order and deliver the food to the residents. They have transportation available for the residents if needed.

Everyone at Danberry have been wonderful. They responded to my questions and helped me with the travel problems. They always responded to e-mail or texting.

They are starting to bring the activities back, and we do think we are getting a good value. Our loved one has really started to bond with the care givers, and the care givers are the ones who initiated that bond. We really appreciated that they went out of there way to make her feel happy, and it means the world to our loved one. We believe she is living in the best place.

The food is not like what we cooked at home it just does not have enough seasoning on it. When we were in lock down they still tried to provide some kind of activities, they would leave treats on our doors to lift up our spirits. For us the value for cost is very reasonable.

The value for what you get is good. I feel comfortable with my mother being here. They check on my mom frequently and the location of the community great. I would recommend the community to others.

At the time of the tour the person giving the tour was ill, due to this we weren't impressed with the community.

It's a great place. We have a friend whose loved one was here before us, and they think it's great too. We've already recommended it to others as well. We really like the staff. The nursing staff is really good. They definitely pay attention. They come up and visit with the residents and make sure they're doing okay. The head nurse has been very responsive, and she's just fantastic. The food is the best I've had at any type of facility, almost resort style. It tastes like they have a gourmet chef - it's pretty [language removed] good. Here and there we've had a couple little issues, but nothing major at all.

We have decided to put a deposit down on Monday. It is a bit pricey but has everything I could imagine wanting - even a choral group. The rooms are the largest of any other place we looked.

We chose Gable Pines because of the value for the money, the location, and what they had to offer in assisted living. They do send out newsletters to keep families updated. I would tell others to make sure that the doctor comes to see you, it was something that was overlooked in the beginning but is fixed now. I would recommend to others looking.

We loved Greenwood Village. The staff is easy to work with. The campus offers everything! It's a little too expensive for our savings, unfortunately. Otherwise, this would be our new address.

I chose First and Main because they accepted pets at the time and also it was one of the lesser expensive ones that I looked into. The administrative staff and everyday staff here are very friendly. The room sizes are a little on the smaller side. There is not much closet space. A lot of the foods served are greasy and the quality is not very good. I am able to cook in my room so I do that if I do not like what is served or if I do not want to go downstairs to eat. They do serve really good ice cream, but they only have the basic flavors, when I first came they had a lot of variety of choices. A lot of the residents here are in wheelchairs or are bedridden, so they are a little further with the care they need than I am, so that can be difficult. But overall, I would recommend them to others who are looking.

Gable Pines has been a great fit for my mother in law and she likes it here. The dining rooms are open again so she is able to get out more which has been great for her. She says that she really enjoys the food. They seem to take care of our loved one really well and do screenings when you come in. They have also been accommodating with her physical therapy needs. I would recommend them to others looking.

I have a very large apartment, but it is expensive. They have different options of sizes on rooms depending on the cost. I was disappointed that the room was not inspected before I moved in. When I moved in there were some issues such as microwave missing parts, kitchens did not have shelves, etc. Other than that it is a wonderful place and I would recommend them to others who are looking.
