We had an in person tour and it is a very nice community but it s very large. We thought for our friends situation a smaller community would be less overwhelming and easier to adjust.

The staff have been available when I've called them. There could be an improvement with the food. But the facility is pretty clean. There's a lot of activities going on. And they provide a shuttle back and forth to doctor appointments, which has helped me out a lot. You can get your hair cut at the facility, which is nice. They clean the apartments and do laundry for the residents. They also provide necklaces with an emergency call button for the residents to wear. It's expensive, and compared to other places they're a bit higher. But it has been very helpful, and we've been satisfied with them.

This community was just not homey, and did not give that warm feeling that we were looking for for our loved one. The tour people were very accommodating on the tour the community just did not fit our needs.

It is a very nice place to live. The only real problem I've had is the nurses don't respond to my call as quick as they could, but they're working on that. They might not have enough help. But I like just about everything else about living here.

Mom is shifting from independent living to assisted living and I think when I was first interviewing, I was mistaken on some things. The staff has been just wonderful, they are really meeting mom and getting to know her and what her needs are. The food is truly wonderful and she really enjoys the meals. I would recommend independent living if you are truly independent, but I am not sure on the assisted living portion of the facility just yet.

We chose Freedom Village because they have continued care here, independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, rehab, memory care, hospice. This is great because you do not have to move your loved one if they need more care. My dad decided he did not like the location of his room and they let him move rooms and they helped set up his new room for him which was helpful. The administrative is not good with communication and is slow to respond to messages I have left. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

Our first impression of Autumn Leaves was great, the receptionist is outstanding and very welcoming. On our tour we were able to see different apartments which are spacious and the closet space is excellent. It is an older facility but it has its pluses and it is reasonably affordable. They have had some pretty good activities lately like outside classes and entertainment. The community overall is clean, but they could improved on the frequency of how many times the house keepers come in a month.

We're still getting acclimated. The food is getting better, which is nice. But I still bring my bag of spices down to meals with me. We are slowly getting things done as a community. That was stalled for a little while when our director had an accident and had to have surgery. But since then, it has improved and things are moving again. We now have a fire escape plan and a tornado plan. My husband and I have met some lovely people here. And the staff are awesome. From my balcony I have a view of White Rock Lake, which is very much a part of my life and the gem of Dallas, so that's been nice. Overall, we are enjoying living here.

They seem to have a management problem. There seems to be no responsibility down the tree of command. They do a lot of things by word of mouth upon requests, and they really should write things down. They're good people, but nobody is perfect. I'm seeing an implementation of some guidelines being established, whereas there weren't many before in the past few months. So I am seeing some improvements, although I would like to continue to see improvement. The people there are good people and friendly. They're just in need of a little guidance. The food is pretty good, and they have a plentiful offering of activities, but I haven't seen many people participating.

They need more places for residents to be able to enjoy the outside. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience. The food is good and they do have lots of activities available.

My husband lives in their memory care. The facility is beautiful. The caregivers work hard to give the best care. We are impressed with all the activities they have for the community.

FP looked very nice. There were only a few drawbacks. One was the fact that there are only 2 room styles for assisted living. The other, was that was no balcony but this is cancelled because they are building a garden area. My mom liked this best because of the point system for the meals. She said she'd eat her own meals and can save up her points then treat her guests to lunch another time.

Our experience has been with the assisted living side of the community. It is a good option for someone who is in need of additional help, but still would like to socialize. The staff are fairly responsive with any questions or concerns we may have about our loved one.

I think the facility itself is very nice. The rooms are nice, and the food is great. I think the disappointment that my loved one is feeling right now is that there aren't a lot of activities for more active people like her. The other more active residents have cars and get out and about, and she feels stuck with people who are less mobile. For instance, we were told the bus took a trip three times a week. And it actually only goes out once every 7-10 days, which makes it hard for her to get out. We were also told there was a bar, and they don't even have a liquor license. So I feel were a little misled from that standpoint. I think he location and the facility are nice, but there's not enough for her to do where she can really love it there.

Just booked a unit in independent living for my 93 year old mother. Everyone at The Village has been so accommodating and friendly. [Name removed] has been a jewel with getting us settled as well as [name removed] at the front desk. The location and the facility are wonderful. My mother has already been welcomed by so many warm and friendly tenants.

Due to the holiday, I did not visit this facility, but would like to in the future when I visit the Chicago area again.

Our family was able to have an in person tour, and there were still some restrictions and guidelines we had to follow. However we were able to see various apartments and they were nice.

We went with The Delaney because of the medical staff and attention that we knew that she would get. The on site staff members here pay very close attention to mom which has been amazing. The food looks good and it seems that they have some great selections on the menu. The architectural design is great, my mom is not bumping into things and things like that so we are pleased with that aspect of it. I would recommend to others looking.

Our family had a virtual tour, and while our experience was good and nothing stood out as negative or had red flags, our loved one just like the aesthetics and layouts of the rooms more at another community.
