Very clean here. Management is most helpful and accommodating. Plenty of activities to keep us busy and involved. Most residents are friendly and fun to be around.

Great staff - good residents. Disagree with much of the corporate decisions such as not carrying over monthly food points. Too much outside and inside construction. Every bit of space is used for storage. Looks tacky and messy. Cleanliness is super great! Maintenance does a good job.

Administrative personnel are good - assisted living personnel are good - maintenance personnel are good - facilities and ground keeping are good. Entire food service operation is bad

I have lived here for one year. Adjustment has been difficult staff has made adjustment easier. Look forward to better times.

I have lived in this community. I have many friends here. All is fine at Clarendale.

Staff is caring, pleasant, but at times is too scarce. Environment is pleasant.

The tour was complete and not hurried. All facets of the facility and programs were covered and the tour of the rooms very complete.

The rooms are a good size and nice. Many activities to sign up for and participate. I did not try the food so I cannot comment on that. Large buildings so there can be walking involved.

Beautiful green space close to [location removed], [location removed] & [location removed]or [location removed] area. Large community with variety of floor plans. Apartments have updated kitchens , but overall are dated & some in disrepair (significant water damage to patio entry on ground floor of apartment shown). Excellent 7 day a week transportation for non-drivers. [name removed] was extremely friendly & accomodating , and excellent with follow up.

Pros-Very clean, nicely decorated, smells wonderful, gorgeous facilities, nicely appointed, friendly staff, large bathrooms with walk-in showers, lovely menu and snacks available daily, good activities, 2 year old facility. Looks more like a resort or hotel than an assisted living facility. The residents out and about seemed very personable. Great outdoor facilities. Cons-VERY expensive! You are getting a higher quality facility, but the rooms are very small for the price.

No place is perfect, but Clare Oakes does an admirable job with short term rehabilitation!

This is a brand new community. Construction still going on so it was busy. Surprisingly not too noisy. Need to compare pricing but is more expensive Units are larger and the smallest two bedroom is probably going to be in high demand and difficult to get on the ground floor When we look again at both of these need to spend more time looking at memory care. This place hires cnas as their helpers as opposed to just young people looking for a job Need to evaluate and compare ratio of number of helpers to residents This place seemed more likely to be able to take care of restricted diets

We went on a tour here and the staff was nice and very personable. She actually talked with my Aunt. They answered all of our questions. I really liked this place it was very clean. The room was nice and up to date. I would recommend people tour communities before they make a decision.

Visited yesterday. Excellent activities. New facility. For profit. Does not accept state waiver.

I would have loved to have my parents stay at this facility but unfortunately, they didn’t have any openings. All of the residents and staff members seemed to be really nice and friendly. The facility itself looked very nice as well. I really like that the staff members made my Mother get up and do things like shower and activities. My mom said that the staff was mean but I know they were nice. I would recommend this community.

My mom is here currently and everything is going really well. The community itself is right by my house and I actually watched it being built, so it made it an easy choice. It’s very nice and it’s more like a lodge than any type of nursing home. She seems to be doing really well considering it was a tough transition at first. The staff has been really good. The only problem right now is there is a big staff change going on, so I’m hoping they can keep up with everything. The staff in the dining area has had a really good report. You walk into the dining room and they always have a smile on their faces, they know all of the residents’ names, and they just seem happy to be there. The food is really nice too. If you don’t want something that they’re serving, they’ll happily make you something else and they have 2 separate menus that you can choose options from – one is a regular menu and the other is filled with alternate options. Dinner is served from 5 to 6:30, so there’s no rush for you to get there and if you don’t want dessert then they’ll pack it up for you for later. They have tons of activities like movies, entertainers will come in, there’s a craft room, an exercise room, and bingo. There’s pretty much new things going on all the time and the activities director is very nice. There are 4 steps for extra care, depending on the level that your loved one is. My mom is in step 3 and that includes help with medicine, help with bathing, and they help her get to and from the dining area. They also gave her a necklace that she can wear that has a button she can press if she needs help. I love it here and my mom loves it here and I would recommend them to others.

We chose this community for mom because we toured it a liked it. It is what she needed. The caregivers are nice and caring. They keep it clean and kept up. The grounds are well landscaped. The food here is amazing. I would recommend this community to my friends and family.

A Place for Mom really helped me find a good community and we have known people here too and they loved it . He likes it here but just wants to go home. He will be leaving soon but the time we did spend her was good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was Ok and filling. It was always clean and grounds are well maintained. The director here has been so accommodating and nice. I would recommend this place to anybody.

1. Site is under construction 2. [Removed] received me at the parking lot and took me on a tour with proper protective gear. 3. [Removed] planned the basic amenities for independent living. 4. Nice floor plans for 2 Bed Room including washer dryer. 5. Planning daily options for vegetarians on meal plan. Which is good news. 6. I will visit the place again after it opens before I rate it. But I had to rate it for the system to accept my observations. So I am rating it based on information I have. 7. There is a doctors office on facility. I like that feature.
