So far so good. It has been as easy as it could possibly be. There's room for improvement, but overall it's pretty good. It would be helpful if the move-in information they give you included more details about the logistics - for instance where to park a moving truck, how to coordinate use of movers, etc. My only major complaint is the internet service they provide is not easy to work with. The facility is super clean. The food is good, although the staff that serves the food is hit or miss. They offer excellent activities. The apartment is good. And the maintenance people are excellent.

I would recommend, overall it is a good community however they are going through some renovations.

Avalon displayed/offered a higher level services and care than the other facilities I reviewed before placing my wife there. A few weeks into her stay in memory care I felt she was receiving the support she needed. Towards the end her stay she was taken to a hospital three different time within weeks because of falls. I learned that no one from Avalon accompanied her to explain why she was there. That was disappointing. Avalon would have gotten a 5 if these situations didn't happen. Also their Care Manager left employment which seemed to cause confusion within the staff. No direction no communication

They could improve on the dinner menus .The studio apartments which my mom is in have the heating and cooling appliance below the window on the bedroom side of the room.. She hates having the cool air of the AC in summer blasting on her while she's sleeping . They cannot find a way of diverting this air flow. My mom had to ask to shut off the AC at night and it was hot in there. The Rose employees quickly became acquainted with my moms likes and dislikes. They made good attempts to accommodate her. My mom is outspoken if she doesn't like something.

I have no complaints. Like any person moving out of their home, my mother has had some adjustment issues. But the staff at Rose Senior Living have worked with her to help her through the adjustment. She has become a part of the community, and it's a great fit for her. It's not a perfect place, but it's very good. The process of moving a loved one to assisted living when you can no longer care for them is a really hard process for the whole family. The staff have been very patient and worked with both me and my mother, which made a really hard transition less painful. If you need a place to provide some support and understand the difficulty, they're really good with that.

It was a brand new facility. it was lkike walking into a hotel. They offered all levels of care. It was very nice. It was two stories, and was very impressive. They had a lot of rooms available.

Overall they were good. There were a lot of hidden fees that they don’t inform you of in advance. But they were clean and took good care of my dad.

We toured this community and it was nice overall. The staff didn't seem as friendly, though. And a meal charge was included in the monthly price. My loved one cooks her own meals, so she wasn't a fan of that part.

Nothing short of a fabulous experience with NorthPointe Woods! My mom is very happy there. They are generous with helpful information and very accommodating.

It's a very nice first floor and there is an outside door to an enclosed garden, which is great. The people are very nice. We picked this community because, the cost is frozen through out time there.

I had a very good tour experience at Rose Senior Living at Beachwood, I was impressed with what I saw. The reason we did not go with this facility was because they were not specifically devoted to memory care. They have a memory care unit within the facility, but we wanted a place that only focuses on memory care.

Our tour at The Oaks at Bartlett was excellent. They were very thorough. For me, the key when looking for any long-term care facility - especially memory care - is a homey, comfortable environment, as opposed to an atmosphere that is hospital-like. I was disappointed with the memory care atmosphere at The Oaks - it was too hospital-like.

The Watermark is in a beautiful location surrounded by green space and based on our experience so far we would absolutely recommend them to other families. Our loved one is very happy with the meals and dining service, and they offer so many activities, there are plenty of different things to do and the value for the money is excellent.

The friendliness of the people at The Avalon is a plus.

I toured this community and it was good. I was looking for a place that had some diversity within the residents and they really didn't seem to have that here. A nice place, but I continued my search.

Informational session was helpful in a general way. I came away realizing that any person considering admission should bring a very astute family member or friend to review the various options and financial issues.

I would rate everything higher, except these people will not return a call. I had questions about the first statement and did not get a return call ever. After 3 days I made a trip to the place in person to talk with their financial person. I now have been waiting for almost 2 days for a return call from them because I need to change mother's meal plan! When I was there, I asked to speak with someone about changing the meal plan and they couldn't come up with anyone for me to talk to. They said they would have the responsible person call me. I still have not heard from anyone. This seems to be their mode of operation. They do a good job with activities. Great at taking care of the facility and it is clean. But I would not recommend them at this point

I do highly recommend Windsor Celebration! It's a very clean bright place. They have hired health care professionals who seem to enjoy their job, compared to other places. They seem to hire people who enjoy their work, for the most part and for the most, they are good. My mother seems to be very happy there. The building itself is bright and cheerful, which I like. There are a lot of windows; it's not the dark and dingy places you hear about. My mother really enjoys the food, which is saying a lot because she's very picky about her food. She seems to like her caregivers for the most part, and like them too. The location is also fantastic for visitors to come and see her.

We toured this facility and it was very nice. The people were so nice and the grounds were beautiful. This was our second choice. They did have slightly smaller hallways and it did feel a bit more like an 'institution' than some of the other places. But it's a nice place. They even offer transportation to church on Sundays. Overall, it seemed like a good place!

They have plenty of activities. The people are very friendly, loving, and caring. I do not have to cook dinner. I can go to the dining room, choose a meal from the menu and socialize with my friends.
