I have found that Aldersly is a very delightful interesting and welcome place to retire and live. Meals quality and presentation is excellent. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained.The staff service are great. I enjoy the weekly guided walks we have with the Activites team ! I enjoy the wildlife from my window.

It comes a point in your life when you have to give up your home and look for additional care. I found that at Aldersly. The staff and residents have been very welcoming. This has become a new home for me. Aldersly is my home now and I am happy.

I have lived here for almost 6 years. The staff is so friendly and hospitable. The activities and food are so good. I love apple cider and they always have a glass ready for me. I love art and they let me host an art club monthly. OK

I would say 90% of the staff truly cared for the patients, the others were nice, but it was just a job. They had a lot of activities and my mother in laws room was clean. The memory care area never smelled.

I live in the original grounds here at Aldersly. You truly feel like you have your own individual space. The outdoor gardens are beautiful. The food is also top notch. There is a large variety of Activites here. From music performances to Excercise to art talks. You really feel like a community here. Friends look out for each other.

The facility was very nice, however only a studio apartment was available at this time and my friend has decided he would like to return home.

Most of the staff and middle management is fabulous, but upper management seemed to see dollar signs rather than people and it felt like some strange interoffice politics was going on. Everyone has a silo of responsibility and it is confusing for new residents and families. Therapy group (Powerback) was really good. Food was usually mediocre and often choice was limited. Dining staff was great though, nice and helpful even though they caught a lot of heat for the food.

Offers varied activities, meeting my needs and expectation. It's excellent location, and friendly and excellent staff makes it a very satisfying place to be comfortable and a home like place to live.

As a long time resident of Amavida, I have seen some changes along the way. Amavida, however contines to present the best options for senior living. We have 2 dining rooms, a movie theatre, beauty salont, art studio, butterfly garden, resident train room, happy hour with live entertainment several times a month, along with resident run cards (bridge, euchre, etc) and all types of games and clubs.

Having lived at Amavida for 7 months, the first 3 months in an apartment in the maind building, and the last 4 in a freestanding duplex, I can honestly say that this was the best place I could have chosen. As a recent widow with no family in Florida, I am enjoying life here. residents, staff were welcoming from day one. There are many opportunities meeting new people and participating in a wealth of activities.

I feel the staff is very caring and doing the best job possible. Limited space when at full capacity.

Staff are friendly and helpful, as are residents. Our apartment unit will be very comfortable once we get it settled. The food is good, served to order from a menu with daily specials. We're glad we chose Clarendale Six Corners.

Nurses are very friendly and helpful, and also restaurant staff are too!

I was very impressed with your staff. Including the driver. Very nice accomodations and amenities. I am concerned about moving from my current neighborhood and church to the 6 Corners neighborhood. But it's not ruled out, visiting more places. PS meal was very good and I really like that you have activities for the residents.

Nice clean place. Dining room can get overcrowded so wait can be long at times. Overcharge for meal pick up or room delivery. I would recommend

Clarendale West is just beautiful! My brother really loved it there, and I enjoyed visiting there. The staff was very friendly and nice. Fine dining in the evenings with free wine. They also have a happy hour in the bar each day at 4:30. The food was delicious. Negative was a limited menu that was the very same for weeks on end. Example: tomato bisque soup, while extremely good, was the only option for a month. The other negative is the head, [Name Removed]. When my brother was hospitalized and suddenly spiraling downward, she refused to meet with me because I had no legal status. She would not even talk to me on the phone. I have been his caretaker over the last year. His two daughters live out of state and were not present. My brother came back to his apt. with me under hospice. He died a week later, with no comments from Clarendale. When he died, there was no card, no note, no flowers! Then we vacated his apt. Over the week end and left one table and some boxes to be shipped to his daughter in Nevada. She was arranging shipping with a transport, and Clarendale charged for several days into the new month because their director in charge of that was on vacation and she couldn't finalize the pick up. It seemed no on else on staff was capable of stepping in. Therefore, to sum it up, the move in and early experience was fine , but the exit experience couldn't have been much worse!

A beautiful, newer community with plenty of activities and a team that genuinely listens to residents and makes improvements based on their feedback. It's clear they value input and are willing to make changes. One area that could use improvement is dining service, which can be inconsistent at times. Food options may also not fully meet all dietary needs. Overall, a positive experience with room for growth in these areas.

My mother-in-law has been at Clarendale for three years and every time we visit her the staff is friendly, and the facilities are always welcoming. She is very happy with her friends and the daily activities. She is always busy.
