Our aunt has been at Bellingham in the Personal Care Department for over three years. Mentally we have seen improvement since she has entered the facility. It is a pleasant and engaging environment. The facility is clean and their are always activities to keep the residents busy. The activites director, Paige Jacobs and her staff are great! Always helpful and ready to go the extra mile. Thanks Paige and her group for all you do!!

I want to say thank you to the Administrator and her team for taking the time to listen to my concerns. My husband was admitted in early September and he was very upset being sent to Park Lane at first but during his stay there the Administrator, and her staff made him feel comfortable. The customer service her and her staff provided to my husband and I are excellent. I have noticed and observed that her team are very respectful of the patients and always smiling. Thank you to all the Park Lane staff.!!! Please keep up the good work. Also, I want to thank Melinda Wright and her Activities Assistant, Duree for providing great program to keep my husband busy and to help him not being sad being in the nursing home. Thank you for your compassion and caring.

Things are going really great there. The staff is great and are always helpful. The facility is clean and comfortable. The residents always seem happy to and are very nice.

Mom and I really liked Bellingham, we looked at their smallest room in their independent living household, it was spacious and cozy, Plenty of space for my Mom. Liz is a lovely young lady, we enjoyed meeting her.

It was a lovely place. My Mother is no longer there, but when she was everyone was very accommodating and very nice.

We are Thrilled with our experience. My mother has lived at Harbour Village for 2 years in various stages of care. She started in independent living, then progressed to assisted living light, and is now moving to full care, assisted living. We are so happy with the caring, responsive staff. The food is good and the programs are fun and age appropriate. My mom said she is busier than she has ever been. We rented a two bedroom even though she is single as we thought the transition would be easier. There was plenty of room, my only complaint is that the only air conditioning is in the living room. This wasn't a huge issue for mom as she likes it a little warmer anyway. Bottom line - terrific staff makes all the difference. I would highly recommend Harbour Village!

Blakehurst Retirement Community in Towson is beautiful with many wonderful amenities. The staff is very helpful and focused on customer service, and the management really has a heart to serve their residents. I also love that there is a restaurant & cafe on site, which is also open to the public. The food is well prepared, American style cuisine & reasonably priced, especially for the upscale look & feel of the place! One of the unique features about Blakehurst is the fitness center, with a great schedule of unique group exercise classes, not found in most gyms, and tailored well to the resident population & health concerns. The gym staffs two fitness professionals who are available for one on one training & their expertise and training background is impressive! If you're looking for a retirement community with all the bells & whistles this is the place!!!

It's been outstanding the staff has been excellent. She loves the food. It has been a wonderful experience. This came highly recommended from a lot of people. When I saw the room, I was amazed at how sunny and nice and bright it was. They were pretty comparable in price to others in the area, and they were very reasonable with the care charges. They should get a 6 out of 5, it has been an over the top good experience. She is thrilled to be there, and I have peace of mind.

Our experience with Bellingham Retirement Community has been a very good one! The place is clean, the people are friendly, and my loved one really seems to be enjoying it. We have no complaints!

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one, and I was really impressed! The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would definitely have considered as an option for my loved one!

Only lifecare community in Sun City Center with full continuum of care and services. Community has exceeded our expectations! We should have done it sooner!

I have no complaints at Bellingham Retirement Community. They have many varied and convenient activities. Mom wont participate and I wish she would. times. The staff just seem very accommodating no matter what my brother and i need. There is a doctor in the building and that is very convenient. We switched her from her regular doctor and we wouldn't do that if we didn't think it was good. The staff has just been very wonderful here. I am really pleased with this facility.

I recently moved to an active senior independent living community called Cypress Village in Jacksonville, Florida. Although I have low vision, it was not the main reason for my move. However, there is a professional who provides suggested lifestyle changes for individuals with low vision. As a result of the many opportunities here at Cypress Village, I have become more independent. The transportation department is equipped with several modern buses and limousines. I now have access to several venues including shopping, sports events, entertainment, sightseeing, doctor appointments and special events.

My husband and I moved into a Cypress Village apartment, when I was sixty-three years old. My classmates and cousins kept saying I’m too young. I told them that I wanted the turnkey, carefree and worry free lifestyle of a CCRC. I also wanted to be young enough to participate in all the activities, trips and health programs proved by the extremely capable and friendly staff. I’ve found the residents to be very inviting, helpful and inclusive. The meals and treats are delicious. So now I have to watch my waistline.

The Cypress Village maintenance department makes my life here so easy. Whatever goes wrong is fixed with one simple call to Maintenance. You don’t worry about who to call or how much it will cost. You call and state your problem. Someone arrives promptly with a courteous smile. Whether you have a plumbing issue or an air conditioner problem or whatever, the repair gets done with ease.

We moved to Cypress Village in 2012 after thoroughly examining three other retirement communities in Jacksonville. We wanted a maintenance-free house with a two car garage, half of which I needed for my home workshop. An unexpected plus was the Resident Workshop Club which has a complete range of woodworking and metalworking equipment. We still travel a fair amount, so the central alarm system and security patrols provide peace of mind for us while we are away from home. The many clubs and activities at Cypress Village provide us with abundant opportunities for socializing and exercise.

The Cypress Village library has an eclectic collection of books, media materials, newspapers, and magazines. There is a Telesensory VM600 low vision magnifier available for use. Volunteers work many hours to keep the collection ready for the many residents who use it frequently.

Margit and I moved to Cypress Village two years ago and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Cypress Village is a vibrant retirement community with a lively social life and seemingly endless amenities. We have an indoor aquatic center, a deli, a bistro, state of the art exercise equipment, a workshop, a beauty/barber salon, multiple dining options, concierge services, transportation, numerous planned activities and much more. Freedom from the mundane tasks of security, maintenance, housekeeping and cooking allows us the time to enjoy the many options we consider important. There is so much to do that we have to pick and choose our activities wisely. Fortunately we are free to participate as little or as much as we want. Some residents choose the single family homes that are available but we prefer our beautiful apartment overlooking Cypress Lake. We also enjoy our location here in Jacksonville, Florida. The offerings of a major city are available to us including the arts, theatre, and the Jaguars NFL team. The Mayo Clinic is less than a mile away and Jacksonville Beach is within three miles. A major factor in our decision to move to Cypress Village was the LifeCare Contract which allows us to relax and enjoy our retirement knowing we have a secure healthcare future. Lastly, our daughter will never have to be concerned about what to do with her aging parents!

In 2014 we both reached age 80 and, looking to the future, decided some lifestyle changes for our remaining years were in order. We had visited retirement communities in the past and had attended “lunch and learn events” but were not at the time ready to act. Now we were, so we started looking in earnest. After contacting one local retirement facility (in which we were very interested), we then visited Cypress Village. We heard a presentation by the staff, toured an available garden home, made up our minds immediately, and wrote a deposit check that afternoon. We have not looked back since then. We love the stress-free environment, our new home, the many activities available, and the excellent meals in the dining facility. In summary, we are “Living the Dream”!
