During my visit I was impressed by the welcoming environment and the helpful staff at the front desk. Very friendly caregivers. I also observed several groups of residents who were engaged in different areas of the community: a musician was performing in one room, several ladies were playing Dominoes in a different area, some residents painting in a studio and I spoke briefly with the residents who were putting a puzzle together. Their rehab area was very busy; several therapists were treating residents and encouraging them to proceed, while also providing reassurance. I enjoyed a nice lunch with a couple of residents. Highly recommending this location if you or your loved one is looking to stay active, receive great care and enjoys company of others!

Clarendale of Algonquin has clean updated facilities caring staff and lots of activities for residents. Highly recommended by my wife and I. If interested, put your name on a wait-lists you just can't walk in and expect to find an empty apt!

Heritage Village Assisted Living Activities Department is amazing. They keep a very fun and exciting schedule for us residents and truly put love and heart in everything they do. [removed names] are amazing women who tirelessly give of themselves to keep us all entertained and smiling. The assortment of activities they offer go above and beyond anything I've seen in other communities. They are here on weekends and holidays and seem to never go home. I often wonder if they sleep here. I appreciate them immensely am so thankful to have them here to help me maintain a good quality of life. They put a smile on my face every day I see them. They are truly like family to me.

My parents have lived at Heritage Village for over 2 years. While the entire staff there are kind and wonderful, the Activities Staff are truly exceptional. Every day, they bring such tremendous energy, care, and creativity to everything they do. They don't just plan activities, they create experiences that make residents feel engaged, valued and connected. They take time to learn their residents' interests and abilities, ensuring everyone feels connected. From themed events and holiday celebrations to daily exercise classes and art workshops, there is always something exciting happening.[names removed] are incredible women whose enthusiasm is contagious, brining joy not only to the residents but visiting families as well. They are truly gifts to us all.

“It takes a village,” and for my family, that village is Heritage Village. I’m deeply grateful to the staff — especially [removed names] — for their exceptional patience, dedication, and genuine kindness during my father’s transition to assisted living. One moment says it all: Early on, my father overheard a wellness check call from the facility and felt they were treating him like a child. A few weeks later, when Christiana called for the same reason, he overheard again — but this time he said, “It’s nice that they care about me.” That change in attitude reflects the outstanding care at Heritage Village. If they could win over my father, they can win over anyone.

the Windsor at celebration? Has an excellent staff , they are very caring. And will do whatever it takes to accommodate you. The meals are prepared properly. What should be hot is hot. I personally have not had a bad meal at the Windsor. The Windsors maintenance program keeps it very clean. and a pleasure to be in.

I love being here! People are friendly. Meal are great. Entertainment is wonderful. Lots to do here.

When I came here I was scared and when I want to the dining room i was welcomed by many. Great friends. Everyone is friendly. Administration care, excellent care!

If your going to place your loved one here, you have nothing to worry about. It's home away from home. Families are always welcome here.

[name removed] is so helpful to engage and involve the residents with the activities. She also brings lots of energy and fun to all activities that are available.

What we like the most about the community is the friendly atmosphere. The beautiful grounds. Good food. Well maintained facility.

My favorite dept. is Activities. I really enjoy living here. The people are so kind and helpful!!!! I really enjoy Activities because they take us out to see and/or do things! Plus they are wonderful people!!!!!

I entered this facility October having no idea what to expect. I just knew l needed help caring for my recent injuries. I was escorted to an immaculately clean and cheerfully decorated room. After inspecting my living facilities we began my next journey in this life. Starting out with a delicious fried chicken with all the trimmings dinner. Greeted and served by the dining room supervisor. Who was very friendly , warm , and welcoming. The next day the treatments began with a rigorous but gentle workout in Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. The staff were extremely kind . They understood the amount of pain l was in and the overall fear that came with the new experience. I have gained much strength and appreciate their understanding. The best and fun part was everyday the planned activities by the caring and loving activities team. Exercising, playing table games, and the famous Ballon Badminton. Once a week a trip to a local restaurant or shopping everyone enjoys.

My mom and dad moved into assisted living about 3 years ago. Dad is now at a skilled nursing facility, but mom continues to live at Amavida. She actively participates in all the activities that she is able and it has helped give me comfort knowing that the friendly staff and environment is helping her continue to thrive.
