The facilities are excellent, clean and well kept but the food services have recently declined. However, I would recommend Renaissance of North Tampa to other families based on the experience so far.

I moved my parents, both in their nineties, to Legend at Silver Creek in [removed date]. The care given to them is first class and their are plenty of activities and special events. Mom passed in [removed date] and the staff took extra care to make sure my Dad got through such a trying time. I would recommend Legend at Silver Creek to anyone.

My parents have been living there for almost two years and they seem very happy. [name removed] the chef is excellent. The speciality parties are over and above as well as the Sunday Brunch. The Activities Department goes over and above as well. They have themed months and decorate the common areas to the tee. For the fee I don’t agree with yearly increases as people are on a fixed income.

They went out of the way to make you feel welcome. A sign was posted with your name welcoming you. The facility was bright and lots of natural light with attractive decorations. They wanted to know as much as they could about my father and his interests.

The facility is new and it has many different, in-house activities for the residents. The staff that runs the activities are truly enthusiastic and ensure that the residents are engaged.

I took the tour with [name removed], and she was amazing. She was caring and friendly. She answered all of questions, asked about my dad’s care, needs, and desires as well as my own. She was warm and open and understanding. The residents of the facility appeared to be happy and engaged. They have a full calendar of activities and the staff I met were warm and friendly. The facility is clean and full of life.

Needing a residence for our aging parents that would accommodate my Dads medical needs while providing my mother with the needed independence and relief from being the medical caregiver was key. New to the concept of assisted living we were quickly put at ease when meeting the caring, knowledgeable staff at The Windsor. Our questions were answered with great detail and the facility provided what was needed for each parent and would enable them to have greater joy in their daily life. They provided talking points on how to discuss transition into the facility and offered whatever assistance we would need.

What we like the most about the community is their staff, they are amazing! Yes, we would recommend Hemsley House of McCandles to other families based on the experience so far.

If my budget allows, I would like to consider legend as a residence for my husband who has Alzheimer’s. The facility is nice and the quality of life is as pleasant as it’s possible to have in that situation.

They gave me as much time as I needed for the tour. The sales associate was very caring and knowledgable. The community was very clean and homey. It is convenient and to travel to from my home and easy to get in and out of.

The main thing is how kind everyone was. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

We are very pleased with Legends and my father in law is enjoying it very much! I would definitely recommend to others.

Very clean facilities with friendly and attentive staff. My mom's apartment is perfect for her, just what she needs.

We went for a tour and were hosted by [name removed]. She walked us through the facility and gave us a number of things to think about including staff sizing, laundry approach, food services etc. the facility was small which means better staff coverage. The suites were smaller but cozy.

Even though I walked in without an appointment, the staff were all friendly and accommodating. The facility was bright, open, and not smelly. Residents seemed engaged in activities. They all appeared clean and well cared for. This facility is certainly one of the top places that I visited.

What we like the most about the community is that the staff is so accommodating and friendly. I love out of state and they are so kind when I call or visit about every little thing. They really care for my parents and that's so heartwarming.

The staff is really great, a lot of doctors and specialists come to the facility, they have a lot of activities and can transport and run a couple buses to public and Walmart and places like that each week. Only downfall I would say is the food. When we started out continental breakfast was served for free now there's an $[removed] charge.
