Mom is doing good since moving into Rosewood. The staff are overly friendly and they keep me updated on her care. The food is mediocre. She does participate in bingo and has gone on a couple of outings. The community is kept clean and I would recommend it.

The move into Legend at Capital Ridge went pretty well and my dad is still adjusting. We have however had a few bumps in the road concerning the communication between the staff members. When you ask them a question they have to check with some else and it may take up to a day to get an answer. I think this may be due to the administration having a finger on things, an example would be my father wanted to take his dog to get shots & they had to check to see if they were able to help him with this request. The food is good for the most part however there have been a few issues with the menu and the options the residents are given. The community is slow to change the requests given by the residents. Overall I would say things are improving with the community.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Legend at Jefferson's Garden, so far! It's a nice looking, clean place, and the staff all seem very friendly and helpful. They really show a lot of concern for Mom, and knowing that she has people like that looking out for her really puts my mind at ease since I live out of state.

The communication among staff members could be better. It's very clean, and no complaints about the food. The activities on the weekends seem a little sparse. The people seem generally friendly, and happy, and we haven't heard any unusual complaints from any of them. We chose them because they seemed to be the best for the money, and offered memory care.

I had to make the decision for Mom to go into Assisted Living after she had a stroke and required more care than what she could get at home. Since moving Mom to Sunrise she's been great and adjusting very well to the change. The staff are great and Mom has participated in the catholic mass. Sunrise has a community dog which I wasn't aware of because Mom is not a dog person but again she has adjusted well and really likes it there. There have been a few small set backs but all in all a good experience.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this was our second choice and is definitely worth a look for anyone searching in the area!

My mom is a newer resident here so we don't have much experience with the place. However, the grounds are well kept and my mom seems to like the food, I've never tired it but, she doesn't complain. The only complaint I have is the price.

The facility is really great in my opinion.

At The Windsor at San Pablo they got so full so quick that the staff isn't catching up with the population. There seems to be not be a lot of communication with the staff as far as medication goes. Everything else at this facility is good.

The staff at The Windsor at Ortega has actually been very helpful. They have worked with us really well. It has been an all around good experience at this facility. I have no complaints.

Basically they have tried to include my Mother in Law in the activities that are going on. She moved about a month ago and she is still getting acclimated to the place. We looked here when we were looking at respite options. The Windsor was fine, it was very nice. They had minimum stay requirements for respite though, and while I completely understood, it didn't work for our needs.

My mother has only been at Brookdale Gainesville Southwest for a little over a month, but so far she is very happy. The people are very friendly, and all the staff has been very good to her, and they are always very pleasant to me when I come in there. So far we are very satisfied.

I really do not have any complaints. The Legend at Jefferson's Garden is a smaller facility so you do not get as many activities. But for me the trade off is completely worth it. This facility is excellent. The staff is so friendly!

They know my mom and they really look after her well. I think something that they could improve is the layout of the building, because anyone who is further in the back, it is a really long way for them to walk. I think they could change that and have everything in the center. Also the fee, if you want to hang pictures in the room or decorate, then they charge you for that.

My dad is living there currently and I mainly hear complaints about issues with laundry and the food not being very good. My dad also gets transported a lot, but he doesn't like that the bus is bouncy and noisy. He seems content otherwise; they are treating him well and he is getting what he needs.

I am very happy with the cleanliness and the helpfulness of the staff at Harbor Chase. If my mother is happy, then I am happy. A long story, but we have been a part of and seen several facilities and this facility is like staying in a luxury hotel! But, like all places, with the good there is always some not so good. I am a little disappointed in the medical facilities. I understood that there was more care when someone was sick. I don't feel confident in the staff noticing someone who is under the weather or in need of additional care. Also, we still have to take my mother to the Doctor and that was part of the responsibilities I understood we would get help with. They can take her, but she is left there alone. I understand it, but if your parent is not capable of answering all the questions properly or remembering the responses, you must still take them. That was not made clear. The dining area is beautiful, but the food seems to be the biggest disappointment to most of the residents. I am told by Harbor Chase that they are trying to figure out a solution to this. In the meantime, a group of residents are trying to get a group voice to show more power in their grievance, but the food maintains to be what I am told... is a dull flavor and often over done status. The staff there seems to be quite willing to work on problems and make people happy. It is always a pleasure to see the young man at the front desk. He is attentive, kind and sharp. That alone is much more than you see most anywhere else! They don't even notice if someone is leaving no matter a resident or not. All in all, we feel blessed to be at Harbor Chase.

The HarborChase of Palm Harbor is a nice community. Everyone was very nice. The staff and residents were friendly. Everything has been going pretty good. My loved one lives here and enjoys it. 4 stars.
