We toured this community. for care. The staff was nice and they did answer the questions we had on the care that is available. They had a good list of meals that would have been appealing. We did like that this community is clean and maintained. We highly suggest this community for a good place for a loved one

I am a resident here. True, the community has been through some recent changes, (what place doesn't?) The think is, they are making some very good strides in response. Recently, the Director and the corporate office people came in to talk with us. They listened and are putting some of our own ideas in motion here..! I have been to several other homes in the area and none have ever done that. We like the director, he works very hard. The place is absolutely beautiful and they work hard to keep it that way. Some people don't like the food, (most do) but the menu has a lot of different choices, and some don't like anything but their own cooking. I made a decision to stay. I don't think I would find anything better. I like it here.

I have recently made the move into this community and so far everything has been going very well for myself. The staff are excellent and I have been comfortable with the care they have been providing me since I have been here. I like that it feels just like home and that it is a smaller facility then most. I am very comfortable and feel very safe in my new living environment. I would defiantly recommend it to anyone.

My loved one was only at this community for a short period of time it was just not the right fit for him in the end decision. The staff where kind and attentive to his needs to the best of there ability.

We visited the Legend, and decided, based on other facilities we visited, that this was the best fit for us. We needed an assisted living plus memory care for my wife. The only problem I have so far is that you can get out a couple of back doors on the assisted living side, apparently any time of the day or night. Since my wife sometimes wanders, this is a dangerous situation for her as once outside, you can not come back in the back doors without a code. The food is good, and served restaurant style. You order from a menu. There will be a couple of main courses for lunch and dinner, plus a variety of sandwiches. Due to trying to get settled in, we have not participated in many activities yet.

So far it is going good my mom but for the most part she is not liking the meals so much. But the staff for activities are super. The level of care is given by the staff is great. I don't get many calls from the staff, but they let me know of changes when I visit her, which I see her often. I would recommend them to my friends and family if it was needed

There are things that are very good, and things that are not so much. I have no comparison because this is the only place we have experience with. I do see a lot of positives. The facility is clean and that is one of the things that is very noticeable when you go there. They do a very good job taking care of the residents and it is a beautiful place. They do try to encourage him to eat and feed him but I have noticed that they put the plates out and leave them for 30 minutes and take them back and some residents might need more than 30 minutes to eat. They do rounds and check on people and that is very good.When we toured, they told us they had a lot of wonderful activities on the assisted living side, but on the memory care side there are a lot less, and from what I have seen, the activities consists of watching movies and things like that. I would not discourage anyone to look into this place. They could improve on communication, sometimes it takes them a long time to get back to me when I call and leave a message. I will say, though, that they are very good at fixing any issues when we present that. They make sure we feel that we can go sit with them and talk to them about any concerns.

Before choosing a place, I also toured Legend at Council Road. It was a nice community, very clean and well maintained. The tour guide was friendly and welcoming, they answered any questions and made it a good experience to tour.

We liked this community when we toured. It looked like a clean community and the staff I met were nice. They do isolate the memory care residents from the rest of the community and we did not think this would work for our loved one.

This community did not have the same homey feeling as the community we chose. This was a nice clean looking community. The people we met were nice.

I had a nice experience during my tour of this community. Everyone was kind, and friendly to my family. From what we saw the community, everything was nice, and clean. The staff we met was kind, and our questions were answered. My sister, and I thought this community was a little to fancy for my fathers taste, but our tour went well.

My mother has recently made the move into this community and so far we are very pleased with how things are going for her. The staff provide her with great quality of care make sure she is comfortable in her living environment. They also do a good job at keeping in good communication with me about her progress any updates. She has had no complaints about the food and is enjoying the social environment as much as she can.

I love the fact that they allow her to have her cat in the memory care unit with her to make her feel as much comfort as possible. The staff have been amazing and I am comfortable with the quality of care they provide her. The only complaint she has had is that she is not impressed with the food.

The facility is only 3 years old. The staff is very friendly and seem very knowledgeable. The residents that I spoke with appeared very happy. The only down side is the monthly fee, double the amount of other facilities in the area for the same services, simply a newer building.

I had a nice tour of this community and thought the staff did a great job at keeping a clean and well kept facility!! They where on time to our appointment and kept things very professional during our visit. I liked the open floor plan and all the natural light they had throughout the building. It was just not the right location for my mother.

Very nice center, scores well on checklist, a little different with use of aromatherapy, during visit multiple activities going on, still too pricey.

Positive on all aspects of checklist. Nice facility, friendly, good atmosphere - pricing is higher than we want to spend- will need to evaluate insurance but this is the ideal for us aside from price. Great location.

I toured many communities along with this one and it all really came down to where my aunt could afford to live. This place was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. Everyone was very professional and the staff was interactive well with the residents.

My tour of River Oaks Assisted Living & Memory Care went very well. The people there were very friendly and welcoming. The facility was clean and seemed to be maintained well, it eas a good experience but not the right fit for my father.
