Legacy Village of Jacksonville is a very nice community. The community is clean, staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They genuinely care for their residents. They offer nice activities and the food is delicious.

Good care, clean & friendly. Clinical staff really good. Too many discrepancies between quoting cost from start to actual final cost. Had to deal with three different people in the sales department.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

Nice community. Encouraged sharing a room with another senior based on finances. My Dad's not interested in sharing a room.

From what I've seen they keep people pretty well involved, and active. The food is ok I would give it a four. I would like to see better communication between the staff and the family. At first communication was great, but lately I have made four or five phone calls and they have only returned maybe one of those calls. It's difficult to find out what is going on. It's a nice place. When I have gone in there the staff has been busy with other patients and don't acknowledge that we are there until we track them down. We chose them for the pricing, they seemed to be similar to another place we were looking at for a little less. The staff is nice enough, they are very personable. Just walking in it's very clean, and they have an activities board, to let you know that things are going on.

We chose Renaissance Assisted Living because it was more affordable and it is also closer to family. I do think that they could improve the quality of food that they serve, instead of hotdogs I think they should get homecooked fresh meals more often. I would possibly recommend to others who are looking.

They would send the families flyers with a breakdown of all the activities they had going on for the residents. In comparison to other communities, the value here was pretty reasonable.

I don't remember much about my tour to this community, but one thing I do remember is that I did not like the dining room. It was too small in my opinion. Everyone was very friendly and when I arrived, the tour guide was ready for me and on time.

Prior to my dad moving into the facility I want to visit it at different times of the day, mainly unannounced. The residents always looked good. The facility is bright and cheerful, and has no strange smells. The pictures on the walls are appropriate to the age of the residents. The meals that I have seen and eaten are very good. The staff that I've meet is exceptional. They are eager to learn about your family member and take the best care of them that they can!! Our Family Is always greeted by name when we go to visit our Father. Our dad just moved in the beginning of April. The staff has done everything they can to help with the transition to the facility. They encourage us to bring in favorite foods, drinks and snacks. Also, our dad loves to play scrabble and at 93 years of age is a very good player!

The attendants are kind as are the residents. Nobody seems to talk. They have good food. There is a definite lack of communication between staff members. Overall for the value, compared to other assisted livings in the area, it is a nice place.

The turnover of upper mgt and staff has been high since my aunt has been there. However, the staff that has come and gone have been nice and accommodating.

I toured the facility and decided to enroll my husband into the day stay program anticipating his eventual enrollment in the memory care facility. The staff is wonderful, friendly and caring, especially in the Harbor (memory care unit). The facility is beautiful, well maintained and accommodates all the various activities. My only concern was the food. The options are not the best for dementia/Alzheimer's residents and don't follow the department of health recommendations. I decided to discontinue the program.

Overall Rating: 3 out of 5 As a family member of a resident, I truly appreciate the kindness and dedication of the staff at The Renaissance Marquis. They work hard each day and treat residents with compassion and respect. The community is always clean, and there are positive efforts made to provide activities and engagement. From my perspective, one ongoing concern is the lack of automatic doors. For a senior living community, improved accessibility would make a meaningful difference in daily safety and ease of movement for residents who use walkers or wheelchairs, as well as for the staff assisting them. I understand this has been a topic of discussion for many years, and I hope it will receive thoughtful consideration. Addressing this accessibility need would further strengthen the quality of care and peace of mind for families like ours. I would give a higher rating if they would address this issue plain and simple. They are a huge corporation all over the east coast and still opening more. I say focus on the ones that you have to improve their quality before you open new ones.

The Rennaisance is a beautiful building with good sized apartments. The leadership staff is very friendly and kind. The food is not good. I have tried a lot of it and it is barely edible. Rooms are not cleaned often enough. I usually have to clean a couple of times a week. My family member is just settling in after a couple of months so not sure whether his level of care is

I personally didn't have a good experience for my loved one here. There have been times that the residents haven't received medications. The cleanliness was not the best. The meals and dining have been terrible! The meals are pre-packaged and not the best quality or well balanced. There was a change in administration. It took a bit for the community to find a new Executive Director and things are starting to get better. I'm starting to see a change in the activities now that they have an Activities Manager. They are trying to engage the residents in the activities the community is offering. There is still a high turnover in the community and this is still a concern for me.

Grace senior living is very nice and all of the staff were accommodating, it was just not the right fit for what our loved one needed.

We toured this community and we felt they were more into trying to impress us than tell us what they could do for our loved one. The community was very nice and the staff was friendly.
