We were able to do an in person tour at this facility, it was very very nice, however our loved one is very picky and he did not think it was going to be a good fit.

I would recommend this community to others. The people seem to genuine be helpful to the residents. It is a smaller community with personal care.

I feel the value here was good. I think it is a good community. If you have an active family member they be bored there. Due to the pandemic they didn't have activities outside the community.

Some activities this community has is bingo, and exercise classes. There usually something to do every day. Legacy Village did not look like an assisted living facility, it looked more like a home. The room our loved one is currently in, has a bedroom with a little space for a couple chairs as well as a bathroom. They do also offer a two bedroom with a bath. The food served at this community is the only problem we have, its just not good quality food.

We chose this community because it was closest to my residence as well as the appearance of the inside and the communication. We are very impressed. We thought it would be a comfortable place to reside. The food is really good, it is very nutritious and they make a lot of effort to make the meals acceptable to the residents. The room sizes are comfortable, it would be nicer if the shared rooms were larger. They provide painting, group activities, games, and TV time. There is always something going on there so residents always have something to do. The facility also does a lot of charities for different community groups. I would recommend this community depending on the care of the individual, if it was minimal care I would say I would recommend, if it was a higher level of care, I would not recommend.

I liked this facility & staff very much. This is a faith based facility which appealed to me. The facility was very clean & smelled good. The marketing director, [name removed] made my husband & I feel at ease & was a wealth of information especially for Veterans Affairs. The Renaissance & Harbor have a great home like setting & pricing was reasonable. They offer respite care. Liesa has called me many times to check on my mom & myself during covid. She is amazing!

Not active enough for my mother. Staff was very attentive and helpful. The facility looked clean and well-maintained.

I loved the small setting of the facility. The rooms were simple and just what my loved one needs. The members were all out of their rooms, interacting with others. The place smelled clean and fresh.

Disclaimer: I have had maybe ten experiences with assisted living facilities, over many years. I am comparing Legacy Village to all those, not just to local facilities. Legacy Village is about average for a contemporary facility, on the Atlanta scale. On the Thomasville scale, it's great. The staff and administrators are involved and engaged. Diet is comfort food - appropriate for the residents' tastes, maybe not for their cardio... but they seem to like it. Activities are many and varied. Finally, the cost is quite reasonable. On the down side, the physical plant is getting a little tired. Yes, they clean and paint, but the technology of assisted living has moved on. It still feels like an old-school "retirement home", but again, that's a matter of taste. Regardless, if you're looking in the Tallahassee - Valdosta corridor, this is about the best facility out there. Good value, great staff and location. We would make this choice again without hesitation.

Again, less homey more businesslike. Tour person seemed ready to go home, less chatty. Lovely rooms. Told that there would be no waiting. Don’t like the elevator needed for second floor residents. Parking is not good. In the back, needing to walk around the front from a poorly lit lot.

My mom doing great and just fine with the help of the community. She has participated in a few community activities but not as for the outings yet. The food is not terrible. Since we visit a lot, we have gotten to know the staff and they give us updates.

Older facility. Really needs updating. Cannot manage colostomy care. Staff seemed friendly and activities director very creative! Too far from my home for comfort with their discomfort caring for colostomy,

I have no complaints of the tour I had taken of this community for my mother. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. The property was clean and they had a lot of great amenities available to all of the residents. It was just not the right fit for my mom in the end decision but I would recommend it to anyone.

This community is very nice and the sales person that showed us around was very nice as well. We liked everything about the community aside from one. We did not like that they offered a la carte for everything that my grandmother needed. That was to costly in the long run.

I thought everyone was really nice and I liked the facility. Didn't see a lot of people outside of their rooms, but I understand some were getting ready for an outing

I liked that this community was newer and all of the natural light they had throughout the entire building. The bedrooms the staff had showed me where nice and had lots of great amenities for the residents in them. I just did not like how quiet everyone seemed and the lack of activities that where taking place.

My mother is doing very good here at this community. I know she is safe and being cared for very well. They have a very helpful staff at this community, they have been great to work with. It is a well-kept community, they do a good job with the cleanliness of the place. Everything has worked out very well for us here, and I would recommend this community.

I felt that my husband was safe in the community during his respite care. The staff were friendly and communicated well. His meals were very well presented and they looked very healthy as well. Activities were also offered on site. I would recommend respite stay in this place everyone was attentive and the community was very clean.
