Legacy Senior Services

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The facility is not as large as most in the area; in my opinion, that means more personal care. The nurses and attendants in the Harbor, memory care, are always attentive and willing to do whatever my husband needs. The building is somewhat old, but it is clean and well maintained. My only concern is the meals. Yesterday the evening meal was a very small salad with about 4 bite sized pieces of chicken with a few saltines and pudding for dessert. My husband does not like salad at all. There doesn't seem to be a alternate choice of meal. My husband has lost several pounds since he has been there. All they are presented to drink is lemonade and a pink drink. On the intake paperwork, there were many questions about my husband's food preferences. There is no evidence this is considered. I take him his favorite drink ever day along with a snack.

My brother and I enjoyed the tour here. Very nice place. Nice areas for residents to visit with friends or family. Our tour guide has a true passion for what he does. A good man. The resident rooms are very nice. Enjoyed the visit.

Overall we were very satisfied with Moms care. The staff are met with a lot of challenges with this population my Mom included. I believe everyone did their very best to insure her well being. There was no perfect place or solution for Mom considering her mental and physical limitations. However I would often see staff members going above and beyond to help the residents. Typically they work well as a team helping each other out during busy times. The Fall festival was held while my Mom was residing there and this was a lot of extra planning and work. I am very grateful for all of the kindness and care that was given to Mom during her stay.

The lease has gone up a few times since mom moved in, around $ [removed] more than her lease states. These poor people are not fed very well and my mom's room is never really clean. There have been several directors in the last 3 years. My mom will be moving in with me in December.

Good place for my mother, who has alzheimer's. Expensive, but better than a nursing home. Very good staff and experienced nurses. The nurse was very helpful in getting my mother the medication she needed. Good experience overall.

Very kind, encouraging community that tries to go above and beyond - I recommend.

I would recommend the Harbor, I would definitely recommend using a place for mom, it was very helpful and supportive as I made this difficult decision.

My parents really enjoy Renaissance place.

I would recommend Legacy Village to other families. Yes we toured several other communities.

Our loved one had been in two other places and looked after him very well, the food was excellent like really good we would recommend absolutely recommend

Good community, but no family is close by the community for our loved one.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked this community, we loved that the residents could walk all the way around in a complete circle with a courtyard in the middle. However they only had one room left and it was a shared room and bathroom.

We were able to do an in person tour at this facility, it was very very nice, however our loved one is very picky and he did not think it was going to be a good fit.

I would recommend this community to others. The people seem to genuine be helpful to the residents. It is a smaller community with personal care.

I feel the value here was good. I think it is a good community. If you have an active family member they be bored there. Due to the pandemic they didn't have activities outside the community.

Some activities this community has is bingo, and exercise classes. There usually something to do every day. Legacy Village did not look like an assisted living facility, it looked more like a home. The room our loved one is currently in, has a bedroom with a little space for a couple chairs as well as a bathroom. They do also offer a two bedroom with a bath. The food served at this community is the only problem we have, its just not good quality food.

We chose this community because it was closest to my residence as well as the appearance of the inside and the communication. We are very impressed. We thought it would be a comfortable place to reside. The food is really good, it is very nutritious and they make a lot of effort to make the meals acceptable to the residents. The room sizes are comfortable, it would be nicer if the shared rooms were larger. They provide painting, group activities, games, and TV time. There is always something going on there so residents always have something to do. The facility also does a lot of charities for different community groups. I would recommend this community depending on the care of the individual, if it was minimal care I would say I would recommend, if it was a higher level of care, I would not recommend.

I liked this facility & staff very much. This is a faith based facility which appealed to me. The facility was very clean & smelled good. The marketing director, [name removed] made my husband & I feel at ease & was a wealth of information especially for Veterans Affairs. The Renaissance & Harbor have a great home like setting & pricing was reasonable. They offer respite care. Liesa has called me many times to check on my mom & myself during covid. She is amazing!

Not active enough for my mother. Staff was very attentive and helpful. The facility looked clean and well-maintained.
