This is a very beautiful facility. Quiet rooms. Several gathering places and activities for the residents. The people are friendly and caring. Overall my Mom is happy there. They have weekly housecleaning service. They check on the residents daily. The van service to get them to doctor appointments has been very good. I wish I could give this place a 5-star rating for these reasons. But I cannot for a few glaring inadequacies. First is the food. It had improved some for awhile, but has gone down hill again. They even put in a new kitchen, but without a qualified chef, the food is mediocre at best. Not what you would expect from this type of place. The residents complain a lot amongst themselves, but don't voice it as they feel it wouldn't help. They have been served both over and undercooked dishes like: raw cornbread, raw chicken, and hockey puck meatloaf and hamburger patties, along with tasteless foods. Slightly cooked broccoli is a favorite for them to serve which those on certain medications should limit. It would help if it was soft enough to chew. The second issue has been medication administration. My mom has had 6 errors in her [Removed] administration that we have caught in this last year. So far, thankfully, there have been no ill consequences. The leadership has appeared interested in correcting problems when brought to their attention and have made some changes, but I do not feel very comfortable yet.

My family was looking for Respite options for my Mother-in-Law, and we toured Copper Creek Inn among some other places. Copper Creek Inn was a very nice-looking community, and we liked it, but it just wasn’t a personable as we would have liked. We wanted to connect my Mother-in-law with a caring, attentive staff, lots of activities, and good care. Copper Creek just did not satisfy all of our needs, so we ultimately chose another community for her care.

We had visited this community and mostly was concern if they could care for my wife. We seen a lot of places and some were less expensive. I had a tour with them and learned that they could not handle my wife.

Only shared rooms. Most people not involved in the group activity were by themselves. Not too much interaction.

[Removed] was a gracious host. Not the facility for me. The community areas seem up to date. But the apartments remind me of motel room in a 2-3 star facility. Food is OK and the server checked to see what gluten free bread they use. I was very specific about what I wanted and was led to believe they could meet that expectation. Not the case. I am more independent and appear to be much younger than the average resident. The apartments I was shown have poor views. They are not conducive to maintaining the my current level of independence.

It was not a good tour for me. It felt like a hard sell and I didn't like hearing assumptions like "She would like the decor here." It wasn't a modern place that I had hoped and they allowed pets. It looked a little shabby so this was not going to work out for us.

My Dad's older brother is hear. He is not so excited about this place because it feels dingy.

When I went in to tour, it was a nice place. When I first contacted them from my list, I was told I would get information in the mail, I did not get it. After calling them they did not deal with what I needed. I kind of got the run around for a while. I did not like the feeling and I felt uncomfortable with the tour. I did not feel the warmth from the community.

I thought this community was very costly for what they had to offer. I also felt like this facility was more of a nursing home and hospital then an assisted living. The property was beautiful and well maintained it was just not the right fit for my mother.

My first impression of the community wasn't very good. I had notified them of the stay of my loved one for respite care and when we arrived they weren't ready. They did however apologize and tried to get things straightened out. They do a good job maintaining the place clean. My loved one thinks the meals are okay.

We didn't like this community, it just wasn't the right one for my mother in law. It was much more expensive for our budget. A good thing about this community is that they offer great activities. Also the staff was kind and friendly. They were informative and answered my questions. I'm pretty sure this is a nice community, just not the one for us.

Mom is having a hard time getting adjusted at Creekside Inn Alzheimer's Community. I've talked to my mom many times and my brother is close by. The place is clean. They are relatively efficient about taking care of her needs. There are a couple of things that are making me look elsewhere. They didn't emphasize enough how much we need to label things. The first night she was there she had all of her things that I packed to make her comfortable and be able to take care of herself taken. I've been her primary care giver for years and know what she needs. Just about everything I packed for her that she needs was taken. Things like toothpicks, band aids, toothpaste, glasses, toothbrush, etc. I am having to send her care packages to the caregivers because I had flowers sent and they ended up in the wrong room. It was a very difficult transition for her and it's been 6 weeks and she still hasn't gotten adjusted. I just don't think she gets the customized care that they advertise. Also her room is far away from the front desk which is the only place she has a phone. She is cared for but minimally. She's just not happy. They don't call and give me updates ever.

The only problem that I see is that you have to wait too long and spend too much time getting the meals. The food itself is fine, they just need to clean up the service. The accommodations for the room are fine and the maid service is fine and they have plenty of amenities. It is an excellent place.

I have had a few issues and concerns here. They went more than a week without giving a medication, because it didn't get refilled. There was a wound that didn't get changed, due to a communication issue. The roommate she shares a room with has dementia, and has a habit of taking things. I have emailed the director, and he never responded back to me. There seems to be a lot of turnover, right now. The workers are very nice, and it's a nice, clean facility. I chose it because they have a nurse there at night, and I liked that they had the motion sensors in the room.

The facility is clean, but we are paying for a higher level of care, and we come into messes all the time. They check every two hours. I feel like they are just average, there is room for improvement, but I don't think they are bad. The staff is very friendly, and they do what they can with what they have. The management needs to keep a couple of extra nurses on staff, especially for those paying for the extra care. The activities are there but they don't reach out to the residents to encourage them enough. The food has been good. I just think there is room to improve.

They have trouble gettingough CNA's. I'm sure t..his is a nationwide problem but the CNA's always overwhelmed due to pt. Load. They are all pleasant and try really hard.

Beautiful place with good, caring philosophy. Unfortunately, going through some growing pains. Due to rapid increase in residents, there is now a staffing shortage which is getting worse, with the loss of good employees, including the chef. This is a shame as this is a very family friendly/family oriented community. Hopefully, this will be rectified, which would bring my review back to 5 stars, as I previously gave it!
