I am a resident here at Solana at the Park and feeling more and more at home as time goes on. It was a rough beginning due to the Covid 19 virus lockdown and the quarantines, but I am settling in now.   Solana was an excellent choice for my future home.  The apartment is quiet, clean and comfortable.  The caregivers are capable and kind, always responding to the many tasks they are asked to do.  Mealtime is not  ho-hum.  The food is yummy and a wide variety is offered day to day.  Meals were delivered to our rooms and now we can go to the dining area. This opening was a moral booster as it offered more contact among old and new friends.  We are all waiting for the day when the doors open to our friends and family to visit. Until then, it is a good place to be.

My mother has been at Northbrook Inn Memory Care for 4 months now. As she is still adjusting to her new surroundings I have been very pleased in her care there. The staff has been wonderful in their care of residents.

The journey with a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia is a difficult one. When the time comes that being home is no longer an option, the decision is daunting and heart wrenching. Our Mom has been at Spring Creek Inn for over a year and a half. The care givers are incredible and it is obvious that they truly care about her wellbeing. She is treated with respect and kindness. My siblings and I have visited at different times of the day and she is always clean and looks well cared for. The food is good and it is nice that we can share a meal with her. The communication between the nursing staff and our family has been great!! We are contacted with any issues that might be going on with Mom. They will always answer any questions we have and are very professional. The administrative staff are friendly and competent always. The COVID 19 pandemic has given our family an even greater appreciation for everyone at Spring Creek Inn. Since we have not been able to visit inside the facility, we have had to rely more on the entire staff. They have initiated Skype calls and recently window visits to accommodate families. The atmosphere and attitude at Spring Creek Inn is that the residents and staff are a family, too. Our family would highly recommend this facility. Our Mom is well taken care of and we have peace of mind.

We chose this community because it is very close to our home. It is the most elegant, beautiful senior living community in the town of Modesto. The staff always go above and beyond for any needs my grandmother has. The food is so good that our family eats there several times a week. This place is literally amazing.

[name removed] was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. She delighted my mom with 3 chocolate frosties in the Refrigerator! It made her very welcome at her new home. [name removed] was great.

After a month in an acute care facility, it was decided to move mother to Surprise. From the very beginning, the information [name removed] provided and the assurance I felt confirmed to me that this would be a good move for my mother. Conversations with [name removed] regarding mother's needs and care were very reassuring. Even with the difficulties COVID-19 brings, the staff have been so helpful while keeping everyone safe. I have been nothing but pleased, and mother says they treat her like "royalty." How good is that!

Despite the Covid-19 situation, [name removed] found a creative way for my father and I to see the facility with cell phones/face time. Place looks great and employees seem like they really care about the residents.

Northbrook Inn and it’s staff are all amazing! They care for the residents with unparalleled empathy and professionalism at all times. Communication is always clear, timely and transparent. The staff anticipates the residents needs, are proactive and go above expectations. In summary I’m so fortunate to have my wife in their care and not worry myself about her well being! They are all angels??

Great place to live. Food is fabulous. All the staff so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

This is the perfect place to live for people 55 and older. During the week, two meals are provided each day. On the weekends breakfast is provided and the Victory Bistro is open for sandwiches. Light housekeeping is provided once a week. My husband and I enjoy living here. We are never bored. All the staff members starting with [name removed] on down are helpful, kind, caring, considerate and hardworking people.

I think the quality of the services is well worth the value. My mom felt like it was a family and the staff as well as the residents were very welcoming. She loved the food. They offered a very big variety in restaurant style dining. The caregivers very good. I would 100 percent recommend this community to other families. I was very satisfied with this community.

My father has been at Amber Creek for over a year now and is very happy. The team does a very good job of keeping him as engaged as possible, which is important as he still is able to function at a pretty high level. I am always contacted promptly if there are any issues and the staff is friendly and courteous whenever we interact. I find the leadership team responsive, proactive and vigilant with respecting to protecting his health, especially during these challenging times with the virus. My father enjoys the food and is very content with his room and the overall accommodations. He always says they keep him out of trouble, so that’s good! I would highly recommend this facility.

The staff at Northbrook Inn Memory Care, [name removed] in particular, were extremely helpful during this difficult time searching for the best memory care accommodations for my mom. [Name removed] was very responsive, thorough, and made herself available at any time to answer all of my tedious questions. Thank you to [name removed] and the entire Northbrook Inn staff for helping guide us through this process during a particularly challenging time.

I have good things to say about Amber Creek Inn. They cared for our Mom when she got ill. She was frightened and crying, which she never does, and they calmed her, figured out her speech was gone, and got her to ER. Nurse [name removed] was really helpful and communicated well throughout the process (I live in northern Arizona.) They noticed she was acting different at lunch compared to breakfast, so they're observant. I feel comfortable with the care they give and our Mom is not easy to deal with.

My 92-year-old dad has been at Solana since July 2018. Needless to say, with the COVID-19 virus upon us, and the facility being on lockdown for months now, it has been quite difficult for everyone to maintain the level of communication and care that has been the norm up to now. We cannot visit Dad except by phone and Skype, and the lack of personal family contact has had an affect on him. There are all those little things that one does around his apartment when you visit that can't be done by us at this point. It took a while for Dad to even understand the extent of the pandemic and why everyone was locked in. His first reaction was, “Why are we locked up? We didn’t do anything.” I am certain a lot of assisted living residents are struggling with coming to terms with this unprecedented circumstance. I want to acknowledge what a wonderful job the staff at Solana is doing, from the director on down. [Name removed] is very hands-on and keen on communication, which is vital. Everyone is pitching in and going “above and beyond” to somehow bring normalcy to this difficult situation, from delivering food three times a day to the residents’ individual apartments (now that the dining room is closed), to checking in to make sure they’re okay, and especially being available and responsive to our phone calls, texts and emails whenever there is some difficulty. [Name removed], who is in charge of the dining, fields our special requests with courtesy and enthusiasm. [Names removed] – I wish I could remember them all – and many others whom I don’t know by name, have just done a great job. This is a lot of work to begin with, and the extra efforts are very much appreciated. Solana has a ZERO infection rate at this point, so it looks like the extra efforts in following CDC guidelines are paying off. This is NOT an easy protocol to maintain, but the staff is working hard to take care of their residents.

I would have rated Friendliness a 10. They have a great staff. I love it there. My mother in law is in memory care. The community is very homey. I can't say enough about them. It is just a very beautiful place.

I am so grateful for the kind, compassionate care my husband is getting at MG. I cannot begin to name names…….afraid I might overlook someone, but those caregivers do a great job meeting needs of people who are not always easy to care for. Dementia care is an especially tough part of caregiving, and those who step up will definitely have shiny halos. Not being able to come inside is particularly tough, but knowing that the MG staff is keeping him safe and well cared for eases my mind immensely. Caregivers are the backbone of successful facilities. Keep up the good work, folks……..we families truly appreciate what you do.
