It is a beautiful place and it has a very homey atmosphere. They were very responsive and very accessible anytime we called there was always someone who answered immediately. However, they just had covid go through the entire place, but they did the best they could to take care of the problem. She was not as far gone with her memory, but since they treated everyone in memory care the same way it was frustrating.

While our loved one was there we had a great experience, and the staff members took really good care of him.

Overall we love the Canterbury Gardens community. We are very comfortable knowing the fact that our loved one is there being well taken care of and is safe.

They will care for residence while bedridden but that's about it. If you need more medical care this would not be the place. I would recommend this community if the medical need is low and you can afford it.

We chose Rock Creek at The Park Memory Care because we felt very connected to the director and she was very helpful and supportive. Also, it was a private room with a private bathroom. We felt the room sizes here were good. They were very good with helping us make the decision with hospice, they really helped lead us and get us ready for what was next. I would and have recommended them.

overall everyone is very nice and friendly. The staff is very good and they check to make sure everything is ok each day. They have a good variety of food and will work with you. The community is nice the apts are brand new and I would definitely recommend this community to others

This facility is very upscale, yet warm and inviting. All staff are super kind and friendly. After only one week of my Mom's residence there, I have received numerous phone calls to keep me updated on Mom's status. This has definitely helped ease my mind that this is the right choice for her. Because of COVID lockdown, I have not been able to visit, but I have been able to stop by to get updates from all staff. So far, this place has been a real blessing! The staff has also been so helpful in helping me during this emotional time. I'm so pleased with Cedarbrook!

In 2018 our Mom moved into brand-new Springs Ranch (SR) Memory Care (Colorado Springs) which provided excellent care; its layout, cleanliness and décor were on par with a 5-star hotel, and Mom quickly adapted to her new environment. When COVID lockdowns began in [date removed] and ended our visits from Idaho indefinitely, on [date removed] we inquired about relocating Mom to Creekside Memory Care just minutes away - and on [date removed] we escorted Mom to Creekside which is basically identical to SR, so much so that Mom probably believes she is still in Colorado! As at SR, Creekside’s staff is an absolute pleasure to interact with, and we’re all eagerly awaiting resuming normal activities such as bus rides. To sum up, we applaud Creekside's perfect success thus far at keeping residents COVID-free, and we greatly appreciate the always-positive interaction we’ve enjoyed with these friendly, competent, and caring people since Day 1. Mom is very happy here and she couldn't be living in a better place.

Sterling Commons in Victorville is a very homey place. Sterling Commons is the memory care community on the Sterling property. It has been designed to offer a safe, comfortable, caring and secure home for all the residents. All my questions and any concerns have always been explained to the fullest degree. Having said that, My Mother has never looked and sounded better. I feel very fortunate to have her reside in this community in these uncertain, trying times. I would highly recommend the Sterling Commons community to anyone with elderly relations that need more care than an immediate family can provide.

My father-in-law moved into Sterling Commons in [date removed] after his dementia advanced to the point he could no longer live safely at home. From the beginning he would rave about how attentive and friendly the staff were and how delicious and plentiful the food was. He was reluctant to participate in any of the many activities and outings they had to offer, but they always encouraged him using patience and good humor. Finally, one day, he agreed to take a bus ride to a local lake and when he returned home to Sterling he called us and raved about that, too. As his family, we got such peace and comfort knowing he was so happy and that he was being so well taken care of. My father in law has recently passed but we still keep in touch with the staff because they all - from the front office to the nursing staff became friends and family to us, just as they did to my father in law. We will be forever thankful that God was watching over us and that He led us to Sterling Commons.

I looked into this place for my mom. What I found first was how welcoming the staff are. From that first call in, they listened to what I was looking for. It was a hard time for my family but they helped us.

I have been in the Canterbury Inn many times visiting. It is such beautiful place. Seeing the people that live there, you can tell staff care for them. The staff are friendly and smiling. They have really worked hard during this hard year we have been in. I can't wait for them to have their Bazaar again. I would love to live here.

My mother has enjoyed living at Canterbury Inn for the past 7 years. After investigating all the retirement homes in our area, we concluded this one was the best. Comfortable apartments, well-maintained, a lovely spacious dining room with 3 meals a day provided, nursing staff available 24 hr a day for any emergent situations, wonderful senior activities programs. All this factored into Mom’s initial decision to reside at Canterbury. But what I have learned since then and what is most important to me is the caring, warmth and thoughtfulness of all the staff towards my mom. I have complete confidence that my mom is safe and well cared for. In my interactions with the staff, they are always patient with both my mom and myself, obviously caring, go out of their way to help, conscientious. As a retired nurse, I appreciate when medical related issues have occurred with my mom the staff has responded quickly and accurately assessed the situation, giving me confidence and peace of mind.

Our loved really enjoys the meal and dining services, and from what we have seen the activities seem good. With COVID it has been so hard, but they have been very cautious. They made a blocked room where you can see your loved one through a glass window. Our loved one seems pretty happy, and she feels safe there

We chose Cedar Creek because they had developed a relationship with the organization before he needed memory care, so they had get to know you activities before they built the facility. They also did events with people so it was a very easy transition. They have kept in touch with my mom ever since we have lost my dad, the staff is very personable and they handled the whole covid situation very well. I would recommend to others.

We chose Waverly Inn Memory Care Community for our loved one because it seemed like a family atmosphere and the people who worked there truly cared about the residents. The benefits our loved one received from being in this facility are for one, she got her self worth back; second, she is kept busy all day long, and last but not least, she got her own shower, which she loves, in her room instead of down the hall. Now she can take a shower whenever she wants instead of just once a week, like at other facilities. Before Covid, the community took the residents on field trips!! I would recommend this community to everyone who has a loved one in this situation. It is the best out there right now. The community allows your loved one to keep their dignity and independence as well as caring for them as if they were their own relative.

Sterling Commons is the ONLY place that I would trust with my mom. My Grandpa (her dad) had Altzheimers and somehow my mom found Sterling Commons for him. They treat every resident and the residents family like family. My mom always said that if she needed to go to a Memory Care Facility that she would only want to live at Sterling Commons. She told me that all the time, so when the time came that she needed more care than I could give her, I felt so relieved that this was the place that SHE chose. We both visited my Grandpa all the time so we knew what a great place it is. The food is excellent. The family room has recliners and even residents in wheelchairs are helped out of their wheelchairs and into recliners. They are comfortable like at home and are interacting in the many activities. Especially now with COVID and not being able to visit her every day. I know that they are taking great care of her both physically and mentally!

The rooms and overall layout would be a five out of five. Before COVID we were able to eat some meals with our loved one and the food would also be a five out of five. We would recommend this community to others.
