Mom progressed from independent living to assisted living in a 1 br apartment. Then moved to memory care in a good sized bed-sit, no kitchen..and then hospice care in the same place. She passed away in August. There were bumps in the road along the way, all related to her declining health. Overall I'd say that they did a wonderful job. Our only regret was that we didn't make these changes for her sooner. She would have been able to take part in more of the offered activities and make more friends.

They could improve on communication - they post things at the facility, but no contact or announcements via email, newsletter, etc. Also very difficult to reach by phone.

When my wife and I first arrived it was a bit of a struggle to get used to. Thankfully the staff and environment of the landings quickly made us feel like home! The care we had received was beyond amazing, and still is. The staff here is like family we never had.

We were happy and overall satisfied with our choice for our mom to live at Water's Edge. The staff truly cared about our mother. When she was able to be active, there were enough activities to participate. The once a month dinners are a fun way for family to join in as a group, but I was always welcome to play bingo or join in singing. Sometimes communication between staff leaving and next staff member coming on board wasn't the smoothest process, at least from what we experienced/witnessed as our mother was in final weeks. But overall, the caring and compassion helped my mother enjoy her last year at Water's Edge. She loved her window overlooking the pond. Very beautiful setting.

My mom is in the memory care unit. The staff and unit are great. The staff in MC is attentive and pleasant. Mom is well cared for.

We wanted to find a memory care facility that was near us and allowed cats. Moving our loved one to a memory care facility was stressful enough for him and we knew if we also took away his cat, it would be detrimental to his overall mental health. The staff at Vintage Hills have been wonderful in making our loved one feel at home and keeping us informed of issues

There was a long period of adjustment after Chapters purchased Artis. It was hard on my father because so many of the staff left. There was no one really in charge for quite awhile. Things just seemed different. I never felt the same about the place although my dad did receive good care

[name removed] is at The Ridge and the staff are trained well & knows how to handle all stages. I am happy with the care. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Our Dad is no longer there. We moved him to California where we live. However great experience there and wonderful staff at Country Meadows. I would recommend. The only reason I gave it a 4 is it's a locked unit. Depending on what you're looking for a locked unit can feel confining. However if you have someone you're concerned about with wandering or you are concerned about protecting the elderly from certain visitors then the locked facility is great and I would say a 5. When we were there they had a RN on staff which was extremely helpful and professional

We moved my mom into Water’s Edge two months ago. Mom has dementia which at this time consists of no short term memory and the beginning of cognitive reasoning difficulties. Water’s Edge was able to place her in her own room not in memory care but just Level II assistance which has been wonderful for her. She loves her room, enjoys her floor mates and feels safe and happy. The staff is so nice and I love that they always call her by name when they come into her room. The only problem I have had is in understanding all the processes involved in assisted living. It is sometimes hard to get someone on the phone but when I do they are very helpful. This should not be a problem as time goes on and we get more familiar with everything. I would definitely recommend Water’s Edge to others.

I think the Landings is a wonderful place for my Grandpa. Everyone seems friendly and helpful. The only thing I can. think of to help it smell better by Setting out some air fresheners.

I am no expert on what care should be like. I see people that are in pretty bad shape that require a lot of attention, in my opinion, questionable if they shouldn't be in skilled nursing instead. But what do I know!! Most of the workers try hard to be accommodating, but the shortage of help puts a load on all of them. Unfortunately, this is the world we live in today. The place is clean and does not smell. I wouldn't know if the food was good or not.. my mom eats and does not complain. Keelson was very accommodating when we reached a crisis point and needed a room. I don't know how often activities are encouraged. However the activities director is good with the residents. I would recommend this facility to others. I would recommend this facility to others.

My loved one is a resident at Country Meadow Place. There is no follow through by the upper staff. The nurse, [name removed], was excellent and followed through with everything she said she would do. The others never gave me a new correct contract and they are still over changing the amount that they said they would charge and I don't see where the initial over payment was paid back. I will be pulling my loved one out of the facility.

We really like but more importantly my mom loves it. Activities director is amazing. Staff is excellent with very low turnover. Staff nurse is also excellent. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, and have! I feel the same way about A Place for Mom as I do about The Landings! I have recommended your services to others and will continue to do so, we feel your services are priceless.

The process has gone pretty well. The only thing we're working through is a couple of care issues. This is a more individual issue as far as help. Like anywhere some employees are easier to work with. Other than that everything is top notch.

My brother and I were looking for an alternative living for our parents. They were doing well on their own but with neither of us living in town we were concerned about what would happen when they could no longer drive. The townhouse at Arlington Place fit the bill. They are independent but it gives us peace knowing that if a problem arises that help is close by. Twice they have used their Life Alert and had immediate help. The townhouse is nice.Our only concern is that the kitchen cupboards aren't easy to access. Our parents eat a meal at Arlington Place so they are not cooking much. We are happy that they no longer have to worry about maintaining a home. We feel that this has been a positive move for our parents.

So far, our experience has been positive. My mom seems happy and we have been pleased with the care that she is receiving.

I tell everyone we feel fortunate he is there. This facility offered everything we wanted. I would recommend to others.

i like living at Autumnn Grace. Sometimes i get frustratd with myself for not being able to do my ADL'S. Someone is always here to assist me. it has been two years since living here. i like it.

Waters edge has a lot of activities for all residents. Lots of residents that are easy to talk to and interact with! [name removed] and [name removed] the cooks really go above and beyond to make sure there is good food to eat and fit everybody's diets!
