Artis Senior Living of Elmhurst has treated and cared for our Dad like family. They have worked tirelessly to keep the residents safe and family informed during the pandemic. Truely caring and knowledgeable staff.

My husband has been at Artis Senior of Elmhurst for fifteen months. The staff has been loving, caring and most supportive to our needs. I cannot thank them enough or adequately for everything everyone has done for us, going well beyond the norm. I feel like they have become "our family". Artis Senior Living of Elmhurst is a wonderful home for my husband.

Vintage Hills staff are a friendly group, they have been awesome to my dad. They are very protective of the people they are caring for. Someone was visiting my dad and one of the staff members heard the visitor ask for my dad's ss number. The staff jumped right in and told my dad not to give it to her. I'm very thankful for all the staff at Vintage Hills in Indianola!

We moved my father here from Seattle and the worry of this his transition and all that goes along with it couldn't have been better because of the care and concern from the entire staff at River Glen. The River Glen team help us mange all of Dads medical transitions and with guidance and support. It is such a stressful and emotional moment in a family's life when you need to find the right type of care for your parent, and you want them to feel independent, supported and cared for as well. The facility is beautiful and very "homey" feeling, the food is delicious, and the staff is really fist class! We did a lot of research before selecting River Glen and the flexible month to month program is a unique offering that allowed our family to make this transition without the stress of having to sell my father’s home of 40 year in order to make the finances work. Most other programs do not offer that. Dad is getting adjusted in his lovely apartment and I feel so grateful that is down the street from me with the care and love he deserves. River Glen- thank you for making this transition so easy on our entire family.

I moved my mom into assisted living at River Glen about seven months ago. I toured and researched MANY care facilities and found that River Glen was the best fit. The community is smaller than most so it has more of a family feel and easy to maneuver. The apartments are spacious and bright with full, private bathrooms and nice sized kitchenettes. I really like that the dining room is open all day. Since my mom likes to sleep in, she doesn’t have to rush and can eat whenever she wants. The property outside is gorgeous with multiple porches, gazebo and walking paths with beautiful landscaping. Every single staff member, nurse and aide greets my mom (and her dog) by name which usually includes a big hug. Her medications are meticulously managed by the top notch nursing staff. There are various daily activities which include something for everyone. The social/activities staff are so much fun and full of positive energy! My mom seems so much healthier and happier now that she is safe and no longer has the stress of managing her house or worrying about being a burden while living in our house. She has the independence and privacy of her own place with 24 hour nursing care yet we can see each other often.

My 86 yo mom fell and was having a difficult time managing the pain/staying on top of the medicine schedule and caring for herself, living alone in a single family home. Mom’s two week respite care stay at River Glen was fabulous. I kept calling it her “vacation”...clean and quiet studio apartment, delicious food, caring staff and nurses, peaceful and friendly environment. Mom was able to rest, heal and return to her activities at home. Very thankful to EVERYONE there! And I know mom is going to miss the new friends she made there, too.

Very caring environment for residents. Anytime I go to visit, I feel very welcomed, as well as comforted in knowing that kind and considerate people are taking care of my loved one. A genuinely caring facility in all aspects. Great staff who make you feel like a valued family member.

My brothers and I were 100% satisfied with the care and support our mother received as a resident of this community. The staff was caring and professional, and always treated mom with the upmost dignity at all times. In addition, community administrators were always helpful and supportive to our family throughout mom's stay. As a family, we could not have been happier with the care mom received. Thanks!

[Removed] from River Glen helped to make my dad's transition to assisted living a better experience than it otherwise would have been. They consistently help me with questions and are dedicated and compassionate. River Glen is a lovely facility with good care.

My loved one is doing fairly well with being here. While looking into various options we moved forward with this place because of their cleanliness, it’s a newer facility, and the location was more convenient. The staff is absolutely friendly and knowledgeable. They definitely seem to know what they are doing. They provide activities to their residents like puzzles and group exercising. Also, they provide transportation to random outings off site like shopping and groceries. Overall I would recommend this place to other families.

They are doing very well I love the community and I love the people. My dad has to wear a wristband and if he gets to close to the doors they will lock, I feel good about him being safe. They have handrails all over for fall risks. This community is well lit. They have 3 large common area spaces 2 with T.V.'s and one diningroom. The food is good and the menus are healthy. The staff engages him to join the activities like singing and music. The staff are easy to get a hold of and they answer my questions quickly. I would recommend this to my friends or family.

Courtyard Estates has been excellent to my father in-law. The staff is very kind and has winning ways with the residents. They can be a little hard to find at times, but I know that this is because they are giving attention to all the residents. They do a great job with the residents, and I’m very pleased about that. The food is very good there, and I like that they have the ability to provide food at any time, since my father-in-law is having a bit of a hard time acclimating to the meal schedule. My father-in-law has been thriving since moving in here, and we are so happy with that. We would definitely recommend Courtyard Estates to others.

Wonderful place to entrust your loved ones. They bring in entertainment and therapists to ensure the residents are mentally and physically challenged. They also have lots of daily activities so the days are never boring. My aunt especially likes the bus rides around the area. The staff is always helpful and cheerful.

I feel the people there have treated my mom and step dad just great. They went above what we expected. Since there place was not ready when stated. We had everything packed and turned off. They found something even nicer for the same price. My mom is happy. That is all that counts. She did not want to move but new she could not be on the farm any more. This is a wonderful place for them and they are safe. My mom said the food is good. She said it is like being at a fancy motel.

i am a resident at courtyard estate in bonderant assisted living i feel like there could not a better place for me the manager and all the staff have been super! this place has given me a purpose again the staff always has time to listen and give advice i love it here and would recommend to anyone who would like the friendly and loving community i love it here!!!! We had a very good tour of Milestone Senior Living. The facility was gorgeous. It seemed to be maintained very well. Everyone there was very friendly.
