Everybody was very friendly.

My mom has been VERY impressed with the friendly staff! It's a lot of money, but she's safe there, and the cost is about the going rate. I do wish that they would do more laundry for you without having to pay extra. It's been a good placement for mom. We've been real happy with the care and treatment of the residents. Personnel is very kind and helpful.

I took a tour in July of Garnett Place and was really impressed with everything. It was very comfortable, clean and the staff was super friendly. They've implemented some great programs to keep the residents busy and happy. I love knowing about this place so that I can share my knowledge of that great facility.

My mom is in the assisted living part so she really doesn't need a lot of care but what they're giving her with giving her her medication and meals is wonderful. She's in a safe place. The activities are good. It's hard to plan things for all different types of people, I think. Having a nurse on staff 24hrs would be good. The food is wonderful. It's just great that my mom has dementia so it will be good for her to be in this facility because we won't have to move her again.

My mother is 93 and suddenly we needed immediately help for her. We knew the time was coming, but I'm sure like most, we just kept hoping things would just go on as is forever. Through some contacts we found Courtyard Estates in Bondurant, very near our mothers home in Colfax. In ONE day the incredible folks at Courtyard Estates were able to accommodate our Mother. I cannot tell you how many phone calls, and contacts they made to make this happen. I had no idea what to do and I know that is my fault . I live in Texas, and it was all made so much easier for me by the professional staff in Bondurant. they ALL really seemed to care.

It's very nice. I would recommend The Retreat at Sunriver.

I like it here. They have BINGO, they do art, bring me snacks, I grow my own tomatoes, I don't need nothing else. Sometimes I feel like some people are favorites, but that's just how it is. Workers are nice. This is home.

We have found the indigo staff to be friendly and it has been a good place for my mom. They have a new activities coordinator that has been doing a nice job with more activities including some that involve families. As far as improvement I would say it would be nice to have more people there to add some more friends for the residents.

My sister [name removed] experience at Waters Edge was very good. The staff was always helpful and kind. The facility was welcoming and comfortable. [name removed] had a wonderful view of the lake from her room and liked watching the wildlife.

We are in a townhouse that is perfect for our needs. We both love all the green space. The staff are wonderful and they are always growing activities based on interest.

The facility is wonderful in how it is laid out. All rooms are single rooms with a shared common area and open kitchen/dining area on each floor. The building sits on a secluded lot with a large pond in the back and lots of trees. Sightings of wildlife (deer, rabbits, geese, birds) occur often. My mom (who has memory loss and dementia) has been there for a year. We have had an administration and staff turnover already. The staff who work with the residents are great. They call the residents by name and are very friendly. I visit 4-5 nights a week and am usually there for evening meds. The staff are also courteous to me and have become an invaluable resource for answering any questions I have. The administration is very helpful in getting new residents into the building but pretty unavailable after that. My summation would be that it is a wonderful facility with kind and caring staff. The other residents in my mom's floor are also lovely. Mom is happy and safe and I don't think you could ask for more than that.

Facility is very nice, kept clean. Majority of the staff is very accommodating, pleasant to speak with. They, like everyone else, sometimes were short staffed, at no fault to the facility. We really liked the private room setting for my Mom. Didn't feel like an 'institution' like some care facilities can. My mom was diabetic, I think their menu was a little tough on her. And I think at some point my mom didn't really know what she was eating. It is hard to prepare meals that everyone likes. It is probably 'healthier' than what we make at home, therefore might not taste as good!

We found a small facility for mom. It seems to be a good fit for her and our family. Everyone is friendly and I feel they genuinely care about the residents and want to provide support to them and their family members.

All is good there! She is very happy. Everyone has been extremely friendly and welcoming.

We realize that activities can't always meet the needs of all the residents and they must be tailored to those who are currently in living in the facility. Personalities also play a part. The room sizes are great. Larger than many of the facilities we visited, especially the studios. The amenities are basic, but then at 92 my mom doesn't need a whole lot.

It has been a really good experience. They have good intentions to help keep my parents together. They try to make sure their goals and my parents goals are the same. I am not sure any other place would do this. It was hard to find assisted living for both parents. Most people only have one parent to find care for. I am very happy with my choice.

My mom and my mother in-law have lived here for 3 years. They both felt very at home here. Unfortunately my mother in law passed this year at 102. Everyone here really helped with the loss of my mothers best friend

Great place for my grandma, friendly staff and nice living spaces, fun supper nights for family to connect, location is nice and has a great view from the rooms, [name removed] is an excellent activities director

the Staaf is so friendly and helpful here. you can really tell they care about you and are here for you. my room has an amazing view of the pond that we have behind the facility. there is alot of wildlife to see out there. my daughter did a really good job picking this as a place for me.

I would recommend it. I like the small size. I picked them because of the size and price.
