My loved one is in a secured area and I feel there is not enough staffing in the area and there is only one activity that he participates in. The food is good as he is eating well. The rest of the community is really nice and there are a lot of activities. The community is well taken care of and the staff is nice. I do not want to give anyone the wrong idea as I can only speak about the secured area. I would say to look into the secured area carefully if this is what your loved one needs.

Everything has been satisfactory so far. Staff is accommodating. Safe enviornment.

I don't know that my opinion counts It's my neighbor, Mr. Carrol that has moved in there and honestly, he hates it ! He feels like he's in prison since he hadn't been able to drive before last week for 2 months. The tv reception is awful in the guests rooms. That's really bad for them. He says the food is not as good as it was in March & wonders if the cooks changed .. As I said, Maybe it's just a old man deal. He says he lonesome but that's his fault for not hanging around in the lobby & watching the better TV down there. He has improved in his healing of his ribs with not driving . I liked it. He just says he hates it and feels like he's in prison and it's way expensive .. Bottom line See, old folks attitude change when confined & he has to meet the great staff half way.

After I got the money ready for the down payment for mom to move into her new home everything went real smoothly. The staff is real friendly and the janitors even helped move mom in too! I am really pleased with the friendly staff and nurses letting me know the status of mom and when she needs her meds filled and everything else. Mom is happy and she is already calling this her forever home.

I've been here just under a month. My biggest disappointment is that this not truly an independent facility. There are too many people here with care givers and others that just belong in assisted living. That defeats the purpose. Fees are a little higher than I expected. Housekeeping schedule is not consistent. Dining room service is sometimes very slow and I've heard complaints about amount of pasta on menu. Most staff is friendly. Do like the 3 meals being provided. It's hard to get to know people. I moved from out-of-state, which is not the case with most residents. Would help if nametags were provided. Activities are limited as almost all are within the 4 walls of the building. But, this is where I'll live for as long as I'm able as it is convenient to family.

We had been looking around for Mom's extended care and "A Place or Mom" contacted us. although we were pretty much decided on Greenfield Assisted Living, our Place for Mom consultants recommended it and our confidence was confirmed both in (A.P.f.M) and (G.A.L.). What is interesting is the number of local institutions that contacted us as a result of the immediate action of A.P.f.M. There were no stones unturned in what began as a desperate search as Mom's dementia was growing progressively worse. We are very thankful that such compassionate ministries are available to us and others who suffer like fate and exasperation today.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They were very supportive of my dilemma of having to sell my condo before I could move there. They gave me a month for my deposit for a unit, with the understanding that if I didn't sell I would get my deposit back. I was unable to sell my condo and got my deposit back. The entire facility and the apartment I viewed was very nice. Actually I would have loved it there. I didn't like having the main meal at lunchtime. Also, there was no choice of the main entrée. Since I don't like fish, I ended up with a sandwich. Overall the food was Ok, tasty. I stayed for one activity, play bridge, no one showed up.

This is a new facility so I like that everything is modern and up to date as far as standards. It also helps that the staff is well established but not burnt out! The staff is very accommodating and helpful in making the process as streamlined as possible. We had looked at this facility as it was being built but life circumstances didn't allow us to be able to take advantage of this facility until now, but we were very glad that they still had an opening and could accommodate our move quickly and smoothly.

From what I remember, Foxbridge could have been an option for us as well. It was more on the assisted living side and it wasn't as new as some of the other places we were looking at so that's why we didn't choose them.

I love Foxbridge and my husband is adjusting well.

For the most part Foxbridge is very nice. Although the residents with dementia have no independence and are put to bed by 8pm. Their level of care at times can be frustrating, but I have experienced worse care at another facility. Donna, the director, is new to the property and she is trying to make a difference. I think the meals could be better. Foxbridge has four buildings; the Oak building is for assisted living residence, the Pine building is for assisted living and the beginning stages of dementia, Spruce is for residents with later stages of dementia, and the Magnolia building is for residents in the poorest health. Most of my experience has been with the Spruce building. The staff is very friendly but they have to arrange resident's medication schedules around their own schedules. For example if a medicine is directed to be given on or after 8pm in the Spruce building the medicine is administered at 7pm when the nurses are readying the residents for bed. I do not agree with this method, but the nurses have to follow a schedule so they can be at the next building to administer medications. Foxbridge, like other facilities, is understaffed. Some of the residents in the Spruce building look bored, there are no activities for them to help slow the progression of dementia. Sometimes housekeeping can be inconsistent as well. But for the most part they take care of their residents and all the residents here seem happy. This place is much better than where mom was previously.

The nurses and nurses aides who cared directly for my dad, were wonderful. The room was clean, big, and filled with light. Unfortunately he was only there for 2 weeks before he started falling a lot, and then got a UTI, which caused erratic, aggressive behavior that was at first not even attributed to the UTI (it should have been). After multiple falls and trips to the local ER, the Vantage Pointe doctor sent him to the Centennial Hospital psychiatric floor, to treat the UTI and tweak his meds to hopefully tone down the aggression. They said he couldn’t return to Vantage Pointe until his meds were fixed. Unfortunately, at his stage of dementia, he did not improve while in the hospital. He stopped eating and was getting fluids via an IV. From there, he went to Alive Hospice, and died a few days later. I would not recommend Vantage Pointe Village to anyone else, due to their current business practices. When my dad went to hospice on [date removed], my husband and I immediately moved his things out of Vantage Pointe the next day. He’d only spent two consecutive weeks in that room, so it was still in move-in condition. As we were moving out, the financial director said she was charging me for the month of April. She said it was company policy for the family to give 30 days advance notice if moving out. As if I could have predicted that my dad would die! Talk about a knife to my already hurting heart. I called her supervisor—the director of the facility—who apologized and assured me that I would not have to pay for another month. She said a new parent company had recently purchased Vantage Pointe and had changed some of their company policies — but told me that she, as director, would not allow that to happen. A few MONTHS later, I got a bill from that same financial director, saying money would be automatically withdrawn from my bank account. There was no description of what the bill was for. I tried calling her multiple times, with no response. I called my bank to put a “stop” on that amount, should she try to do it. I called the admissions director, who was absolutely wonderful. But she said both she and the facility director were no longer at Vantage Pointe. I persistently called the financial director and finally, she called me back, saying that the bill was a mistake, and I was actually owed a refund. Great news, but what kind of place just sends a bill with no explanation? And how many times is that happening there now, under the new regime? It’s a shame, because as I said, the day-to-day caretakers there were great, and the room was beautiful. But it’s only a matter of time before their business practices start affecting their reputation.

The apartment is nice. I like that water, electric, and meals are included. Most of the staff are helpful and professional. They focus more on activities than consistent meal quality. As I get stronger, I rely more on myself for housekeeping and meals. Housekeeping is not weekly. Very sporadic and unreliable. They have a large employee turnover. I'm not disappointed in my decision but am hoping to move if my health allows it in the next 6 months.

The staff starts off very nice when you join, but that friendliness slightly dissipates over time. The smell in the hallway was insufferable and very embarrassing when guests came to visit. There was a stench from cats being in one of the apartments that the resident did not clean up after, and it seemed like nothing was being done about it. An elevator was always broken, which resulted in a continual line and long waits. Overall, I would not go back.

The room was not cleaned on move-in day. The heater was stuck on, and it took us several attempts to get them to believe us about how hot it was in the room. They finally got someone to come out and fix it. The shower is leaking onto the floor. They have had two people come out to look at it, and they told my dad not to worry about the floor because it is vinyl. However, the bathroom floods into the room, soaking all the rugs, and we are afraid my dad is going to slip and fall. The staff seems nice, at least the ones I've talked to. We are still trying to find out how everything works. They said it was better to use their pharmacy, but now we are paying another bill because of the type of pharmacy they use. We now have copays that we did not have when using Walmart. It would also be nice if they encouraged the residents to participate in activities. I've talked to some of the staff, telling them my dad just sits in his room all day and that he needs to get out more. I write all the activities I think he can do on a whiteboard in his room, and it's helping a bit. But on most days, he just watches TV all day and night. Despite these concerns, my dad is safe and getting the medicine he needs.

While some of the staff can be a bit rough with residents, most of them are extremely helpful and caring. One area that could use improvement is housekeeping in the resident apartments. I've had to repeatedly remind staff to clean the floors and take care of other cleaning tasks. Despite these issues, the majority of the staff do a great job, and I would still recommend considering this facility for your loved one.

The people living here are very nice and so are the staff Food is good. Apt is good. The maintenance is almost non existent. Clean lines is good. Activities are undependable.

The assisted living part was relatively nice. I lived out of state so I wasn't there that much. I had difficulty at times communicating with Mom. She couldn't hear well unless she used her phone "blue-toothed" to her hearing aids. As her dementia worsened, she had more difficulty communicating and I wish the staff had made more of an effort to help her use her phone and hearing aids. It was very sad to not be able to talk with her. Overall, the assisted living facility is clean, some caring staff members, and activities for those who are able participate.

It's ok but not the best got limitations. The could improve by showing more concern for patients then there liabilities.

I took [name removed] in for an evaluation and they said, no problem, we can handle him. Two weeks in they're telling me he is acting up and might not be able to stay. The 5 weeks he was there, they would call one day and say he needed to move, then call the next day and say he had calmed down. It was a very stressful 5 weeks until I found a private home operated by two hospice nurses. [community removed] was a Godsend. [name removed] was comfortable and well cared for the two weeks he was there before he passed.
