The medical staff at Maple Court were great, BUT if you are depending on an outside agency, such as the Dept of Labor to pay the bill, Maple Court will refuse to work with them to get paid as well as the atorney in Oregon will tell you he will have them work it out then HE will file the claim against the deceased estate. They have made it so stressful and traumatized trying to get the bill to the DOL that we are just going to sue them. Contacted Don [Removed] it is so bad.

The customer service is very poor at Maple Court. Based upon the services I received, I would think the residence care would also be very poor. Therefore, after paying the deposit and moving in one piece of furniture for two day, I chose not to do business with this facility. I would not want to leave my family member here and then have to be concerned about the quality of care that would be provided. There were no services rendered to us and I have not yet received a refund for our deposit and not even a phone call. This is very poor business. At this time, I would not recomment that anyone use this facility. They have a lot of problems to get corrected.

My wife and I were here for five months before we moved out and it was the biggest mistake we made. They made a lot of promises they did not come through on, it was just a very poor arrangement. They had a lot of staff turnover, including the cook, so they ordered a lot of pizza. [removed] People had dogs that barked all the time and it just felt like a zoo.

This was a terrible, horrible, experience. They were so understaffed, the care was lacking. I was totally dissatisfied. I didn't live very close by, either so it was hard to keep an eye on things. I would never recommend anyone go there.

We were disappointed in a few things. My loved one was only there for a short period of time. Our loved had returned from the hospital back to the facility and was moving her arms and had a room with hospice care that was supposed to come take care of her there. They were not coming. We finally had a hospice worker come and we come to visit her and find my loved one laying flat down on her back. They reported there was no change. We could tell she was not moving anymore and breathing strangely. We tried to find someone to hook up her oxygen. We couldn't find anyone. We kept calling the front desk to get her hooked up. The hospice nurse told us she was about to pass away. I watched her take her last breath and then the nurses came to hook up oxygen. She got a few more breaths before she passed away. We learned after that, that the arm movements she was making was a sign of lack of oxygen and her breathing as well. No one contacted us to tell us that she was actively dying. We happened to be walking in to visit her that day.

They overpromised and underdelivered. There are significant issues with their leadership and parent company. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I would tell others to make sure you get a firm contract before you go in. I made that mistake and I regret it. I did not have a good experience and I would not recommend them.

Cancer medication valued at $50.000 was stolen. Mattress on bed was infested with bed bugs. No activities. Staff not certified to administer medications. Food not edible. Medications were not given as prescribed by doctor. I CHECKED OUT AFTER 9 DAYS. I STRONGLY SUGGEST DON'T GO THERE..

Just make sure your loved ones get their own meds. I meant to text that works there and it's still there gave my pots there's someone else's meds I am not happy about this once this crisis is over I will be pulling him out. Most of the staff there are nice you do have a few that think they're above everybody else and you cannot talk to them cuz they know everything it's really sad that this company would keep someone that has been messing up with medication over and over again

My sister was a resident of Willowbrook place. If you just need a place to live it is fine, but if you need any type of care or assistance in anyway this is NOT the place for you.

This place is horrible. They charge a ridiculous amount of money for a little amount of care. They will gouge the price on your bill if you do not watch closely. They have a very high caregiver turnover rate (the pay they get is horrid). The 1st shift caregivers are not friendly or compassionate, they get irritated if they actually have to do something. The 2nd shift caregivers are great, there are new caregivers all the time. The management is horrible at this facility and within this entire company. They do not know the people that live in the community and they don't care enough to get to know them. I often hear residents wanting to pass away instead of living here.

I only get to visit every three months but there are always major med errors and prescribing. Understaffed especially since I was there at Christmas time. Some med techs need more education. Very poor communication among techs, nurse, and management. What happened to end of shift reports and charting my Mom’s care? Techs are very friendly, just overworked. There also needs to be communication between nurse practitioner and those who are trying to keep up with their loved ones

I called this facility to see about putting my parent here and the admissions director, a lady named [name removed], was extremely rude and aggressive over the phone. She would not let me ask any questions and cut me off and talked over me when I tried to speak. She actually hung-up on me when I kept attempted to interrupt her because she would not stop talking and let me speak. Terrible customer service and am amazed they would have someone with her attitude dealing with prospective clients. Would never consider putting my parent here.

Turn over of staff is constant. Had Mother in facility for 8 weeks and gave up looking for improvement. Their main goal is pinching pennies on caregivers, food and facility despite high cost to resident . She would not be checked on for hours and no coverage at all during the night. Paid for all the extras, but not a safe environment for loved one.

I chose Raintree Terrace for my Dad believing he would be safe and cared for. We chose a Private Memory Care room and I paid $4,680. We made arrangements to have him transported from SC to TN. I changed his room to Semi-Private due to the expense of transport. Raintree was in contact with the Rehab center and also the Hospital he was being discharged from all week before he got there. We were promised there would be a NP there to evaluate him on arrival. All I got was one nurse covering Assisted Living and Memory Care. I trusted she would do the right thing but my father was deceased by 3pm the next day. His BP went into stroke territory but they did not call an ambulance and did not have his meds ready for him. When I got the call the Administrator sent me to the Emergency Room but he never arrived there and I had to go back to Raintree. I believed the girls at Raintree when they said I should chose them and they would take care of my father. They did not and he was dead in less than 24 hours. Do not fall for all the fancy stuff. Make sure there are responsible people who make good decisions. They had a responsibility to call an Ambulance if the situation was beyond what they could provide. No one did. They were provided all the info they needed from the Rehab center and the Hospital along with Dx reports and his prescriptions. They were ill prepared for his arrival. I am sorry I chose Raintree.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Kanawha Place. I brought my mother here and the first day a roach ran across the floor. I moved her out immediately.

Only good if your loved one is pretty independent. They are horrible and unpleasant to them otherwise. They are ill equipped in handling elderly with dementia!!!! Do not send those you are about there if they need a lot of hands on care and/or suffering from dementia. Neither the staff nor the place are able to handle them. They falsely advertise that they can handle such needs. Unfriendly and ignorant to the illness.
