I love the activities, I try to participate when I can. The food is better than the food we could find at other places like this

Great place to live. Good food sometimes, I love bingo.

Emory Ridge is a very nice facility, but like all others, it is pricey. The location is great and very convenient for me. I would recommend to others looking.

The food is not good.

I moved her to Celebration villa in [date removed] It was a lot closer to me and cheaper. I liked Maiden Creek. But there was a huge turnover several times with nurses, executive director office manager ECT. Every facility has good and bad staff. I've worked in many and my mom has been in 5 facilities. 2 for rehab. So I have seen it from both prospectives. As a nurse and a daughter

My dad was very resistant to the idea of moving into assisted living. He wanted to maintain his independence and freedom and didn't like the prospect of having to pay so much of his life savings just to live. But it became unsafe for him to continue living alone. He liked Dover Place the most of the facilities in Dover that we visited. They do a lot for the residents to keep them active and engaged. Most of the staff come across as genuinely caring. He has complained that they are patronizing and talk to him like he's a child. I've noticed it too. His hearing is poor, and so he mis-hears some things. His reactions have provoked laughs, which he doesn't like. He has had trouble getting help during the night shift. I imagine it's difficult to get people to do that job. I have found it difficult to find someone to just let me out of the building when leaving at night. I wish they would give family members a keypad code so they can let themselves out.

When Mom entered Greenfield, we were very happy with her adjustment, the friendliness of the staff, and the care she received. However, many things were lacking as we have seen since Inspirit bought the facility and it became The Warren.One of us is there almost every day so we have a pretty good perspective on how things go on a regular basis. Our mom continues to be very happy there.

Its hard to get in there because they really man the desk but im pleased with the staff and the facility over all.

They are difficult to reach after 5 pm. Lots of employee turnover. Cleanliness/ housekeeping could use improvement. Regulation of air temperature could be improved. Overall- great value for the price. The location is wonderful as well.

What our family likes the most abut the Rain Forest Landings community is that they are a close community and based n the experience we have had so far we would recommend them to other families

The only issues I had was that he had an ostomy bag and they wouldn't change It. It needs changed every 3-4 days. I went after 3 days and changed It. They said they would get a dr's order to do It, but didn't. When I picked him up on the 10th day, he still had the one on that I put on and was coming loose. Also, I was told if I pick him up before 11 am I wouldn't get charged for the day. A month later I got a bill for that last day. When I called they said that regardless I was charged for the day I picked him up. But because I was told otherwise, they didn't charge me. Those were the only 2 issues and weren't major complaints, but something to be aware of.

Others may want to know that Emory Ridge is strictly a Memory Care and that the doors remain locked and secured at all times; only staff can let you in and out of the building.

We would recommend The Warren to others. The staff is wonderful with communicating with the family and keeping us informed about how Dad is doing and involving us, as much as we want to be, in his care.

Well, hopefully they are getting a new Activities Director, so that should help. The staff seem to be encouraging my mother to participate in activities, which we appreciate.

We feel very safe and comfortable that our parents our here. Cost much lower for the same services. We also had a family member here 10 years ago. We were confident about their services then and feel even more positively now.

Good experience. She was not much of an eater so restaurant not used much, but it was good. Hospice at the willows was very good.

By far the best facility my aunt has been in...[business name removed] was awful and the [business name removed] is so bad they shouldn't have a memory care unit. My aunt has received good care and has thrived at this facility...

Overall Wyncote Place provides very good care to the client and takes time to provide the family members with the consideration and attention they need as well. However I felt my husband's personal care was lacking as the pressure sores no his buttocks were not adequately treated as he was left in one diaper throughout most of each day and his position in the wheel chair was not changed throughout the day. The accounting department also failed me as they withdrew an extra $10,000 from my checking account and it took over 3 weeks before the money was returned.

I would recommend the facility. Food is very good - the only negative I have there is that my dad isn't a fan of always going to dining hall and they don't do take out unless he is ill. So I don't think he takes advantage of the meal plan. Staff is very friendly! They provide lots of activities but again my dad doesn't take advantage of them. We also don't depend on their cleaning staff. That is where they have struggled with keeping help and because he qualified for outside help there, we don't have to depend on them. Overall, we are happy and would recommend Southwind.
