I have great praise for the Leighton Place. A very clean and roomy place with places to go to or do activities . The staff are caring and respectful for both the residents and visitors. They have planned outings and activities for the families

The team at Emory Ridge helped my dad settle in quickly. They provide a stable, structured environment that is well-suited to his needs. It's easy for my mom to visit him, which she appreciates very much.

My brother seems to be adjusting to the place, but he had some concerns about the from one shift to another. The third shift people did not want to assist him and advised him to ask to morning shift That should not happen all shifts should help in the same way.

Great place for the price,, even with paying for extra services. It’s cheaper than most I have found and it just as good. The food could be better but I know they are working on that part with a new chef. Leadership staff are amazing people, very personable!

It is very expensive & now they say there is a $[removed] per month rent increase per year. I wish there was a way to find out costs for each facility before looking at them. I feel like that would save a lot of time when searching for places. They need more staff. Recently, a new management company took over called encompass the employees do not seem to be happy with it. They took away their shift differential pay and two of their holidays and addition to some other things. There's a really nice aid that really cares about the residents and because of this Problem with the new management she may be looking for another job. She is excellent though.

There is always room for improvement. But I visit my sister every week but not on the same day and the facility is always immaculate everyone is very nice they treat my sister well . They try to involve my sister but her Alzheimer's is getting worse as far as cost it seems fair. She was in Colorado and the cost there was about 30 to 40 percent higher. When I see her she is always clean. Clean clothes and her room is clean. Her teeth still look nice and white so that make me believe they are taking pretty good care of her.

If I friend asked me about it, I would recommend the community and emphasize it's cost, flexibility, and helpfulness in helping transition someone into living in assisted living.

When Windsor Ridge changed ownership shortly after my stepdad moved there it has not been a great experience. His biggest complaint is the food. He says they have cut back with the choices that they use to offer and that the food is not very good sometimes. My complaint is that they said they offered housekeeping, and I usually have to ask them to vacuum his room and clean the bathroom and that rarely happens. I change his sheets and do his laundry myself, but as soon as IN SPIRIT ( I believe that's the name) took over I feel like everything has went downhill. They seem to be short on help is what my stepdad says. I would move him if he wasn't 88 years old to another facility but then again I told him we may have the same problems. They're nice and do seem to help with medical situations.

The Palmerton community is very nice and welcoming for seniors that can get around well. However for higher level of care such as level E that my father had, I would not recommend it there. This is due to lack of responsiveness and follow thru of nursing staff.

Med nurses were using clipboards and making check marks after they had filled the meds for a room. No other nurse then did a doublecheck on what they did. Again, I worked at a nursing home where the meds were in a locked room and 2 nurses went through the cart and used a laptop. The nurses and floor staff were very nice and they did ask us if we needed anything, so that's how we got my loved one settled in.

excellent location, the building and location is upkept

The biggest issue my loved one has is the management and how you can't get answers from them about certain issues. It's hard to get someone on the phone. I have even tried to call the corporate office about some billing questions and it goes to a voicemail saying to leave a message and they will get back in 2 to 4 business days

I love the activities, I try to participate when I can. The food is better than the food we could find at other places like this

Great place to live. Good food sometimes, I love bingo.

Emory Ridge is a very nice facility, but like all others, it is pricey. The location is great and very convenient for me. I would recommend to others looking.

The food is not good.

I moved her to Celebration villa in [date removed] It was a lot closer to me and cheaper. I liked Maiden Creek. But there was a huge turnover several times with nurses, executive director office manager ECT. Every facility has good and bad staff. I've worked in many and my mom has been in 5 facilities. 2 for rehab. So I have seen it from both prospectives. As a nurse and a daughter

My dad was very resistant to the idea of moving into assisted living. He wanted to maintain his independence and freedom and didn't like the prospect of having to pay so much of his life savings just to live. But it became unsafe for him to continue living alone. He liked Dover Place the most of the facilities in Dover that we visited. They do a lot for the residents to keep them active and engaged. Most of the staff come across as genuinely caring. He has complained that they are patronizing and talk to him like he's a child. I've noticed it too. His hearing is poor, and so he mis-hears some things. His reactions have provoked laughs, which he doesn't like. He has had trouble getting help during the night shift. I imagine it's difficult to get people to do that job. I have found it difficult to find someone to just let me out of the building when leaving at night. I wish they would give family members a keypad code so they can let themselves out.

When Mom entered Greenfield, we were very happy with her adjustment, the friendliness of the staff, and the care she received. However, many things were lacking as we have seen since Inspirit bought the facility and it became The Warren.One of us is there almost every day so we have a pretty good perspective on how things go on a regular basis. Our mom continues to be very happy there.

Its hard to get in there because they really man the desk but im pleased with the staff and the facility over all.
