Very friendly and kind place. Residents are open and welcoming. Staff is very kind and helpful. Food is nice. Location is great as far as I am concerned. Close to several major roads, a medium sized shopping center with grocery, gas, post office, restaurants, spa, wine bar, pet store, Tuesday Morning, Antique store, mail packing storee with FedEx and UPS. Drug store. Location is practically in Wake Forrest and just off Falls of the Nuse Road which is where major places of interest/shopping/restaurants are located. Easy to get in and out of by car. Two ways to exit and enter which is helpful with traffic flow.

This is NOT an Assisted Living Facility. It falls into the Independent Living category. However, it does offer 3 nice meals a day in the dining room, transportation, activities etc. It has been a wonderful place for my father in law, who is in his late 80s. He has been there 5 to 6 months now and we are all very pleased. The staff is very friendly, very helpful. We would certainly recommend Windlands South.

On behalf of a friend who wanted to move to a senior independent community, I toured Windlands South. I found the staff members to be very friendly, helpful and informative. Overall, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the property - it appeared to be well-maintained inside and out. The areas for community gathering were very inviting both for the residents and visitors. I spoke to some of the residents and their comments were encouraging about their living environments and the overall staff. The residents I spoke with gave a sense of well-being and felt their needs were being met. From this visit and my observations, my friend took the tour and decided to become a resident. He is very content and happy in his new living environment and enjoying the ability to be mobile without having personal transportation.

You have to rate them along too with what their cost is. They're relatively inexpensive compared to most places. For what you get it's a really good place. It's $1575 which includes utilities, all meals, cable and activities. They do light housekeeping once a week and there's laundry on every floor that you do yourself. They have BINGO, church on Sunday, singalongs, and different guests come in and out. There's ice cream socials and things that would be typical at most communities. It is an older community and it's not that they don't keep it clean, it's just older. The apartment itself is OK, but in the hallways are a little dirty - there are animals going in and out. There's a big German shepherd that rides up and down the the elevators! It's a regular apartment with a living room, bedroom, and kitchen, so there's plenty of room for an animal. The staff is always very helpful.

It feels like friendly family! It's clean, bright, and everyone treats you with respect, no matter what type of handicap you might have. We can't praise Creekside Terrace enough. Come, look, see, and enjoy our facilities.

My mom's jsut getting more into the swing of the activities, she was not very happy to start with so it took her a while to put more effort into activities but she's gone on some outings, she's started to play bridge again and bingo. What I like is they do have incidental expenses. Within reason, you can have friends come and eat and they do not charge you, transportation within certain distances is included and it's frequent; a lot of places, it's only this day and any other day they charge you. The biggest problem is that they were taken over about a year ago, it had been very closely managed by just one woman and it was much more of an independent living and there was a lot of turmoil and of course, the price went up when it was taken over and taken in a different direction. They did manage to keep one of the resident couples, Robbie and Carmen, who are wonderful, they really make this place work, but they've brought some others in who I think are jsut too old to keep up with what you need to do. They have an audiologist who comes to the building once a month and she has an office nearby so people could sign up for appointments, but they won't let her do the appointments anymore so that's a little hard for them to remember when she comes in. I think all things considered, they do a pretty good job.

It is a really nice community that is very clean and well maintained. The overall service was excellent and the staff follows up. We were given a quote of $1450 a month which is a really good deal for all the services they offer. The food seems to be really good. The staff has been really patient with our loved one even when they are giving the staff a hard time. Our family members were able to stay overnight with our loved one and they did not charge them for it. We are very pleased with Windlands South and would recommend them to anyone.

The room size is the best in the area. Everyone has been very helpful about any problems that have arisen. Very social and friendly residents.

Staff was wonderful; her room was lovely and the accommodations were perfect for her needs. Food was not that great, however. She did not participate in many activities, only because (I think) it was a short stay and she just didn't have all her bearings. She is a bit shy and hearing deficit makes things challenging for her. I was really happy with how accommodating and pleasant everyone is. These were my mother in law's comments, and she is a hard sell.

Overall 4 stars. The staff are wonderful. My Dad would probably rate the food at a 7. Sometimes he's a fan; other times, not so much! But that's likely true anywhere. I do wish the room could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly. The smaller size apartment he is in is ample enough but the furniture placement is restricted by the AC unit sticking out as much as it does. Overall, a very pretty place with nice, helpful people and friendly residents. I would highly recommend it!

Good sized rooms. Staff seemed very attentive. Smallish, easy to navigate. Food was.... not great, but only a 2 plate sample.

I took a tour virtually with [name removed], and she was warm and friendly and professional, but I can not speak for sure about the facility or the other staff.

Since I am not close to the facility, they send me updates, pictures & videos of my Mom so I can feel more connected when I can't be there every day. I would recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

For the most part staff has been great, like most places that care for people they are understaffed. It's not their fault and they do their best. The place is clean, no complaints about the food from my brother and they have plenty of activities and take trips at least two or three times a month.

Many of my lower scores are heavily influenced by my mother's criticisms. However, we do like how the community is always clean.

Staff interacts minimally with resident..they are there to make sure they are safe and get their medication for assisted living resident..the resident is expected to act independently throughthe day...dining room staff is very kind and interact with each person

I have had some issues where I came to pick up my Aunt for a doctor appointment and was told by [name removed] that nursing did not do their part before I could take her. Luckily I was early enough to get nursing to do what they needed to do so I was able to get to the appointment on time. Also, my Aunt is to wear compression socks daily. I purchased 4 pairs for her, and no one seems to have her put them on. I have spoken with [name removed] in nursing about this months ago. Other than these two incidents I appreciate the staff who work with her every day. [name removed] and her staff are professional and care about the residents in memory care. I am glad that I can count on them.

The place is nice. Staff is nice. Just wish they had more staff. It would help with the residents.

The staff who work directly with the residents care and work hard to ensure their needs are met even though working short personnel. Nice place and the scenery is beautiful

We chose this facility because of its cost, room floor plan, and overall atmosphere. The residents are welcoming, and we were initially impressed with the food. The facility also offers many on-site amenities, including beauty services, physical and occupational therapy, and caregivers if needed. However, it has been difficult to reach staff outside of office hours, and the quality of the food has declined.
