They go above and beyond to make sure she is welcome & interacting. They have options to keep her busy & social. Sometimes it's hard to get ahold of someone so that's been the only real negative. But usually they are able to help in a timely manner.

Overall, the experience had many positive aspects, but there were a few concerns worth noting. One issue involved billing for medications. There were charges for prescriptions that were already available and covered through insurance. Some medications also appeared to be billed even though they were not actually provided, which required follow-up discussions with the billing department. Another concern involved a personal item that was sent to be laundered shortly after arrival. Unfortunately, it was damaged during the washing process. It was mentioned that the cost would be credited on a future bill, but that adjustment was never reflected. There were also concerns regarding wound care. The treatment approach appeared to follow a standard process, and it did not seem that the specific medical needs of the condition were fully taken into account. In situations involving complex medical conditions, a more specialized care plan and clearer communication may be important. Despite these issues, there were also several positive aspects. The food quality was good, housekeeping staff were attentive, and the environment felt welcoming. The facility was also accommodating and created a comfortable living space for residents. Overall, while there were some challenges, there were also positive elements that made the experience generally pleasant

They had events that people could take part in if they had the desire. The food and trying to make sure people had meals even if delivered to their rooms was good. [name removed] was amazing! The hair salon was good.

Larger room size for wheelchair navigation, kind and caring staff, competent nurses that were there longer hours. I would recommend to others.

Polite responsive staff, clean facility, safe environment, and they were very communicative about my Dad's care.

I recently toured Windland’s South on my own while exploring possible future living options for my mom, and I was genuinely impressed. From the moment I arrived, everyone I encountered was welcoming, kind, and genuinely happy to be there. The community was exceptionally clean and well cared for, and it was clear that the residents feel comfortable, supported, and engaged. What stood out most to me was the wide range of assistance options available—transportation services, strong opportunities for social involvement, and support with medication assistance or management if needed. It was reassuring to see how thoughtfully the community is set up to support independence while also offering help as needs change over time. Overall, Windlands South left a very positive impression, and it’s comforting to know there are communities like this that truly prioritize both quality of care and quality of life.

Things were pretty confusing at first. Overall the experience has been good. The staff that I have interacted with have been very nice and helpful. My mom is participating in activities a lot more than I ever thought. Which is very good. She likes the girls that assists her when she showers, who washes her clothes and cleans her room. There was an issue with her meds, but that was addressed quickly. The facility is clean, her room is very nice and the property setting is lovely. I'm very happy that people come in and play music and sing. And I absolutely love that they bring in people with dogs to visit the residents! That is a wonderful thing to do!

I was most impressed with the team approach of the staff. They were all committed to answering my questions, seeing that my tour was complete, and transparent in what they could offer and prices.

Our interaction with [Name Removed] and staff were very positive. It was informative and we could tell that [Name Removed] loved what she was doing, helping make Foxbridge the kind of place where you could comfortably leave your loved one. The staff we met were very friendly. It was around [Time Removed] when we toured the Memory Care Cottage so.most of the residents, I imagine, were in the dining room for dinner. I think there were 27 residents in the cottage and it just seemed it was very crowded. The buildings were old, the asphalt walkways to each cottage were cracked and in those places, they were raised and we believe could pose a danger to residents and people visiting if they were not strictly watching their steps. We didn’t think it looked or smelled as clean as it should have, The scheduling showed that there were no activities planned after 3p.

The food was overstated and that was one of the main reasons we chose them, as [name removed] was an executive chef. The staff is always helpful and the building is clean. As [name removed] is not very social it took him a little to make friends. He is now in a bi-weekly poker club there.

Nice facility but the staff make it better than just the facility, I was treated warmly and left with a positive feeling

I have been very pleased with my mom’s experience at Oak Hill Place. Most importantly, she is happy there, which means everything to me. The staff has been consistently kind, attentive, and communicative, keeping me well informed about her care. When my mom arrived, she had a small bed sore that developed at a previous rehab facility. The staff here addressed it promptly and kept me updated on both treatment and progress, which I truly appreciated. She has already formed a connection with a favorite aide who takes a genuine interest in her, encourages her involvement, and makes her feel supported. That personal attention has made a meaningful difference. Her room is clean, comfortable, and a good size, and she seems satisfied there. The only drawback is the door layout—her room door and bathroom door are positioned back-to-back, which makes maneuvering a wheelchair in that area a bit challenging. As for the food, my mom has some complaints—but she’s an extremely picky eater, so I suspect that would be the case anywhere. Overall, my experience with this facility has been very positive, and I’m grateful for the care, kindness, and respect they’ve shown both my mom and our family.

Windlands South community is a independent living place if you can't take care of yourself you have no business being here. Things you don't use you still get charged or everything is inclusive. I would share with a person that there are many people like it here

My impressions have been very good. The place always looks clean, is well staffed at the front desk, and the nursing staff is attentive to my mother.

I would say it is a safe place, with good supports in place that could use some updates. The in-home care on site is a benefit, but has some staffing issues and limitations-- much like many companies right now.

The staff in memory care are doing well with my Aunt [name removed]. She always has clean clothes, hair brushed, bed made, and her room is clean. Her room is a good size. Aunt [name removed] did misplace her hearing aids and we are not sure what she did with them, but have not been found as of yet. Food is good, but she would like salt and pepper during meals. She misses them. Director [name removed] said that he would have my Aunt go over to assisted living activities and I believe she has gone twice. I would say that she enjoys activities and I know that if you keep her cognitively involved she will not be a problem. I am not sure if it is the dementia or lack of activities, but I feel ever since I moved her into Milford Place that she/memory has gotten worse. I would like to know she was doing more activities while there. I am confident that she is getting good care at Milford Place. [name removed] has been most helpful and so has [name removed].

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Would suit my husband's need for a short respite stay. All the furnishings are very tired-looking, well worn although comfortable and well-lit. It really needs a face lift.

Our experience at The Willows is generally positive. The staff is very friendly. It's a nice facility, very pretty when you walk in, with lots of big windows in the lobby & dining room. The staff is helpful & most are very nice. As far as care, if you are fairly independent it's fine. My mom was checked in as a level E because she was in a wheelchair & accessed at a high level of care. But the first several days they rarely checked on her except for meds & never came in to see if she needed help dressing or toileting. I was there & doing things for her but I was upset. We were being charged $[removed]a month & my mom was basically on her own until I got on the phone with the director, [name removed], who is great. Any hiccups we were having were immediately corrected, my mom started getting her showers when she was supposed to, etc. After being there a month & her physical state improving a lot she was reassessed as a level B which saved some money. I am shocked by how much these places charge, considering care levels and that most seniors have fixed incomes. My mom is hoping to go home soon and we'll have home care in place. We could never afford this long term, especially with rent going up significantly in 2026. One weird thing is the TV. They give everyone access to Dish TV but no one can find the channels they want & the residents complain about it. No one helps & all these people miss their favorite shows. I find it hard to believe that no one can help these seniors work the TV. Food is up & down too. Some meals are very good & others awful with small portions. In discussing this review with my mom, she generally likes The Willows & has made a few friends. I like the fact she is around people & worry that going home will be too isolating. We would give it about a 4 out of 5 stars.

We are unsure of the activities but our loved one does complain about the food. Says it is not good

So far my parents have only been there a week, so I'm trying to not make too quick of a judgment; however, we have been less than impressed with the administrative staff contact and follow up, and the quality and temperature of the food.
