The Raintree Terrace was a great place! It seemed to have a positive atmosphere while we toured. The problem was the price, it was higher than what we could afford. Other than that, it was a beautiful place and they even had hospice available there.

My father is doing pretty well since his move to this community. Overall they are taking good care of him and his needs. He has some bad days. and some good days. I know he is safe, and in good hands at this community. The staff has been very encouraging to him too participate in the activities they have available. He is eating well, I have't heard any complaints about the food.

Overall, I think Foxbridge Assisted Living is a nice place. The facility itself is clean and well kept, and the staff is friendly. My one complaint would be that although the aide staff is friendly, I think they could be a little more proactive when it comes to helping out the residents.

My mother is happy, and it's a nice place. I think they need more staffing, they are still new. They do care and they are involved. They have great activities, and the activities director is very involved, and gets to know each person and what they like. The food is very good, but they need to learn that they are cooking for 80 year olds. The cook is a really nice guy, and the food is good, but they need to offer a less spicy option, sometimes both items . I liked that it was new, and still about the same price as some of the older not as new places. It's bright, and nice.

The managers are very accomodating and really helped me get settled in while waiting for my furniture to be delivered. The residence are very friendly and made me feel welcome. The food is very good, and the staff is excellent.

Overall I think they do a great job at Foxbridge Assisted Living. The staff are friendly and professional, and quick to respond to any questions or requests that you have for them. The facility itself is clean and well kept for the most part, they do a good job keeping things tidy.

This is actually premature, as we have not moved our mother into Foxbridge yet. She had a minor stroke a week and a half ago, spent a week in the hospital, and is now at King's Daughters and Son's rehab facility. The marks I gave above for Foxbridge, is only based on mine, and my brothers, visits there so far. But it is still in our long term plan, to use Foxbridge.

This is a great place for my mother. Would highly reccomend. Only negative is that there are only two elevators and they get crowded at meal times.Also waiting for the elevator can be really bad when one is not working which happened recently. Was down for over 1 week. But hey, most of these people have all the time in the world. Friendly staff and very clean and safe.

Wonderful people, place apartments! My mom is very happy there. Making new friends, enjoying the company of others.

My visit to see Barrington was so interesting. The residents were having a Valentine Day party with a band playing Frank Sinatra tunes. I saw the room that my dad will share and it was bright and clean. The staff seemed friendly and concerned.

Very friendly and kind place. Residents are open and welcoming. Staff is very kind and helpful. Food is nice. Location is great as far as I am concerned. Close to several major roads, a medium sized shopping center with grocery, gas, post office, restaurants, spa, wine bar, pet store, Tuesday Morning, Antique store, mail packing storee with FedEx and UPS. Drug store. Location is practically in Wake Forrest and just off Falls of the Nuse Road which is where major places of interest/shopping/restaurants are located. Easy to get in and out of by car. Two ways to exit and enter which is helpful with traffic flow.

This is NOT an Assisted Living Facility. It falls into the Independent Living category. However, it does offer 3 nice meals a day in the dining room, transportation, activities etc. It has been a wonderful place for my father in law, who is in his late 80s. He has been there 5 to 6 months now and we are all very pleased. The staff is very friendly, very helpful. We would certainly recommend Windlands South.

On behalf of a friend who wanted to move to a senior independent community, I toured Windlands South. I found the staff members to be very friendly, helpful and informative. Overall, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the property - it appeared to be well-maintained inside and out. The areas for community gathering were very inviting both for the residents and visitors. I spoke to some of the residents and their comments were encouraging about their living environments and the overall staff. The residents I spoke with gave a sense of well-being and felt their needs were being met. From this visit and my observations, my friend took the tour and decided to become a resident. He is very content and happy in his new living environment and enjoying the ability to be mobile without having personal transportation.

You have to rate them along too with what their cost is. They're relatively inexpensive compared to most places. For what you get it's a really good place. It's $1575 which includes utilities, all meals, cable and activities. They do light housekeeping once a week and there's laundry on every floor that you do yourself. They have BINGO, church on Sunday, singalongs, and different guests come in and out. There's ice cream socials and things that would be typical at most communities. It is an older community and it's not that they don't keep it clean, it's just older. The apartment itself is OK, but in the hallways are a little dirty - there are animals going in and out. There's a big German shepherd that rides up and down the the elevators! It's a regular apartment with a living room, bedroom, and kitchen, so there's plenty of room for an animal. The staff is always very helpful.

It feels like friendly family! It's clean, bright, and everyone treats you with respect, no matter what type of handicap you might have. We can't praise Creekside Terrace enough. Come, look, see, and enjoy our facilities.

My mom's jsut getting more into the swing of the activities, she was not very happy to start with so it took her a while to put more effort into activities but she's gone on some outings, she's started to play bridge again and bingo. What I like is they do have incidental expenses. Within reason, you can have friends come and eat and they do not charge you, transportation within certain distances is included and it's frequent; a lot of places, it's only this day and any other day they charge you. The biggest problem is that they were taken over about a year ago, it had been very closely managed by just one woman and it was much more of an independent living and there was a lot of turmoil and of course, the price went up when it was taken over and taken in a different direction. They did manage to keep one of the resident couples, Robbie and Carmen, who are wonderful, they really make this place work, but they've brought some others in who I think are jsut too old to keep up with what you need to do. They have an audiologist who comes to the building once a month and she has an office nearby so people could sign up for appointments, but they won't let her do the appointments anymore so that's a little hard for them to remember when she comes in. I think all things considered, they do a pretty good job.

It is a really nice community that is very clean and well maintained. The overall service was excellent and the staff follows up. We were given a quote of $1450 a month which is a really good deal for all the services they offer. The food seems to be really good. The staff has been really patient with our loved one even when they are giving the staff a hard time. Our family members were able to stay overnight with our loved one and they did not charge them for it. We are very pleased with Windlands South and would recommend them to anyone.

Clean facility very welcoming. Happy with the scenery for my mom. The people are engaging with the activities.
