The bottom line is that Mom is very happy with her decision to move into The Gardens at Wakefield. She is making new friends, the staff is attentive and helpful, facilities are well maintained, and the general manager is highly visible and eager to get to know each resident.

Dover Place has been great. We chose this facility because the overall reviews we saw online were all positive and the hospitality and friendliness of the lady that we dealt with. It is more expensive but the care is well worth the money. The visiting hours are great. They have activities for each type of person and they have a lot to do. I would recommend to others looking.

Our loved one really enjoyed the meals they were serving, but they did not get to really experience the activities but they did seem very good. We did think the value for cost was great, and the location was very convenient for our family. This community just seemed more accommodating for our loved one.

My Mom has recently moved to the Gardens at Wakefield and the experience has been excellent. The process of touring, moving and getting settled was painless. She is enjoying the 2 bed room apartment and all the amenities. She has met very friendly folks and all the residents and staff are super helpful. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

Making the transition into a senior living environment is a life-changing move. At the Gardens at Wakefield all staff members were friendly and supportive to make the change as pleasant and as stress-free as possible for my loved one. Any and all questions or issues were immediately resolved, with all staff members showing exemplary care and concern for the resident's happiness and well-being.

We visited this community but due to covid, we were not able to do a tour. The staff member sat out on the porch with us and answered all our questions. They gave us great info and the community was buetiful.

The staff are very friendly. It's a good location, with a nice parking lot, right off a major highway. The grounds are beautiful. They keep the residents very happy and comfortable. The staff were great at communicating with the family during Covid. If my loved one needed anything, they said just drive up, drop it off, and they would deliver it to him, no problem.

It's been very nice. We've not had any problems. They've accommodated everything we can think of. It's been hard due to Covid. We've probably seen them at their most stressed. But I honestly can't complain. I would have no problem recommending it to anybody. We've not been able to go in a lot due to Covid, but it looks clean. Even during Coivid, they've done the best they can to offer activities. For a while they were playing games standing in their doorways. They've been very accommodating here.

Would highly recommend The Gardens at Wakefield. They go above and beyond making sure the residents are well taken care of.

The whole staff overall was great. They were friendly to both my loved ones and us. Communication between the staff and our family was good but during covid there were some struggles. I would recommend this community to others

We loved Dover Place. It was clean, bright, energizing and an all around happy place to be. The staff was pleasant, interactive and personable. We will be moving my mother in this week!

I think it's an excellent place for someone who can still live somewhat independently. It's very clean, friendly, and it's a nice community feeling. My loved one likes his apartment. You get to choose your access type to the tub. The unit has a really nice terrace, so it's easy to just open the sliding glass door and have fresh air. Repairs were always professional and the least intrusive as possible. He also enjoys the service he receives here.

The Gardens is an absolutely amazing place. Our only regret is that we didn't move Gram in sooner, as she has felt right at home since literally day 1. The staff are amazing, and truly care about the residents, always going above and beyond to ensure she is happy...including fixing the TV remotes more times than I can count. We are looking forward to springtime when she can really enjoy the gardens outside and use the raised beds to pursue one of her favorite pastimes - gardening! Thank you to the staff for providing a home for her with lots of activities to keep her busy, and pretty much everything she needs right there.

Hello, I really enjoyed [names removed]. All were very pleasant, upbeat, and informative. The place itself was sunny, airy, and inviting. The rooms were really nice as well as the rest of the community. I could find nothing to complain of.

It is an affordable place. I am not super impressed with the clinical care of my loved one. The staff doesn't follow up after reaching out to giving me updates on my loved one. Overall, it is a nice place. It has been hard due to the pandemic. They are allowing virtual visits, or doing window visits.
