My husband and I moved in three years ago. We love the lake and the people are fabulous.

We went with Westhaven because she liked the kitchen, it has a stove so she can cook her own meals if she wants to which a lot didn't. The apartment she has is a little on the smaller side for her and her things. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. The bus drivers are great as well. I would recommend to others looking.

During my stay there i was not a fan of the dining service, the dining rooms or the food they served.

It is a good deal. The people were nice. I'm happy with it. [name removed] has been wonderfully good to work with.

I came here from rehab. I didn't know where to go or how I was gonna live. I didn't want to go to a nursing home. It's been over a year and I am stronger and happier. I have all I need here. The workers are so good to me. I will live here forever.

The place has blown me with how happy my loved one is in and they are healthy as well. The community is warm, caring, the residents feel like a community. The community has helped my love one make friends at the community.

I would say to try it. We have already picked out our apartment when we are ready. It is definitely recommended. They have food choices, such as a hot meal, a salad option, and a cold meal. Due to the pandemic restrictions they had meals delivered to the resident's rooms. The restrictions are starting to lift and the dining room is open now. There is lots of things to do for the residents to participate in.

The activities in the beginning seemed to be very good, but unfortunately they were still pretty limited when our loved one ones there. We would recommend the Burlington Gardens to other families.

I would tell others that for an independent living community it is friendly and you'd be happy here. The chef is top notch. The residents and staff are very friendly to each other. The food is restaurant quality food. The biggest meal is lunch, and what I've seen of it has been very good.

It is a great value and great place. The location is good. The staff is friendly. The portions of food are on the smaller side. Some of the activities include bingo night, movie night and more for the residents to choose from.

It was a very friendly community and has lot of opportunity for communication and interaction. The staff know everyone and greet everyone. Our experience has been during the pandemic. The activities have been limited due to COVID.

I think Birch Heights has been very nice. With Covid, everything is harder. There are times that my loved one's room is not that clean, but I know they can't always send someone right away every day. They clean the residents' apartments once a week, but he tends to be kind of messy. Add into that quarantine periods where no one can leave their rooms or go into the rooms. So I think they're doing a good job. The facility itself and hallways are always clean. I've noticed the 4th floor smelling like a sewer, but that has to be a special case of just one person's room. My loved one's room and the rest of the building smell fine. I've seen the food, and it looks like there's a lot of variety. My loved ones tend to complain though, especially that portion sizes are too small.. Activities have been slow to start with Covid, but I hear music going on, and I think they're having live activities like chair aerobics and bingo. They have an activities director, and they seem to offer a lot, whether or not people join in. I think it's expensive, but he does get three meals a day, with utilities included, opportunities for socialization, and availability of the front desk to go check on him if I can't reach him, which they've been more than willing to do.

[names removed] were amazingly helpful and friendly. That residence is beautiful, it feels like home.

The maintenance team is quick to fix items for the residents. All of the community is good. The home is bright once the sun comes up. It makes me cheerful and ready each morning I see the sun. The food is good. They have something different each day for meals. Today for example they had Boston cream pie for dessert. There are sugar-free options available.

Everyone on our tour was super friendly. It didn’t feel like an institution. It felt more like an apartment complex for seniors, which is what we were wanting. There were a couple of problems when it came to compatibility for my loved one. 1) They're located in Las Vegas, so a lot of the activities are gambling and casino based. And my loved one is staunchly Mormon. 2) She mentioned she smelled cigarette smoke in several places, including the lobby. Again, she's staunchly Mormon and against that type of behavior. So those two things really turned her off. But friendliness and activity level for the residents was good. The food was really good, and not cafeteria style. So I think it’s a great place for people not bothered by those types of things.

All staff were very welcoming and seemed to know all of the residents. The dining room was so open and bright. The was a nice selection of activities.

I would tell others that it is a very good place to live, but it is expensive. The opportunity for activities, housekeeping once a week, three meals a day, and free laundry facility make it a great place. Due to the pandemic the dining room is closed, and the meals are being delivered to our rooms.

We chose Mulberry Estates because the future availability of socialization and the activities provided. The demographic also fits where my father is, so he is amongst his peers. He is in a studio apartment which is the smallest one that they offer, but he finds it cozy and he likes it. They do have a good variety of meals, they have options everyday that residents can choose from. The facility has a lovely green space so they have formed social distancing walking groups. Also the shuttle service is a lovely asset for doctors appointments and grocery shopping. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

We chose Jackson Oaks because of the price for what you got at the facility. The apartment sizes are good, she is in a larger one and it is more than what she needs. They are loving the food and they are prepared on site and whoever the cook is is doing a great job. Overall the staff here are very friendly and helpful and I would recommend to others looking.

The staff members were great, they treated our loved one very well. A big strength this community had is even with independent living they still have onsite skilled nursing. Our loved one needed to be on a low vitamin k diet which included at least one meal with broccoli and spinach. We had made that clear in the beginning and we just felt that they were not capable of doing so, which affected our loved ones health. The dietary individuality could use improvements, but other than that they food was great and he was very happy with it. Our loved one choose not to participate in the activities but we believed they were excellent, and due to the pandemic they discounted the value which worked greatly for our loved one.
