The friendliness of the staff members would be a 5 plus plus. and even though they have like 100 residents they know everyone's name which is really impressive. The activities are great, our loved one LOVES the bingo and could play it everyday if she could. We like how Hartland Hills has individual independent living, but they do have onsite people who you can hire if they need more assistance. We like the choices of meals, they are good with everyones dietary restrictions and they offer several options.

This is the best place to be. Overall, the activities, cleanliness, friendliness, and they have really good meals make it a great. There are snacks and treats out for you to pick up and go. Some of the activities offered are walking group, library, beauty salon, and more for the residents to choose from. They even have special music on Sundays.

The staff members are always very friendly and our loved one is enjoying the activities. However, we do have two complaints, one would be that we are paying all of this money a month and they are supposed to have a bus service that takes them to and from appointments, but that has been broken down 80% of the time. Also, the community is big and has a lot of residents and their is only one elevator and one staircase. The elevator is not big so when people with walkers and wheelchairs are using it there is no room, and it has broken down a few times. If there were to ever be an emergency you cannot use to elevator but the staircase is small and would cause a cluster. So whoever came up with that design was not thinking about the residents.

I had a good impression of Edgewood Downs, and they gave a good tour. They happen to be located right next to an elementary school, so I wasn't sure if that would work out for me.

We had a great tour at Cedar Ridge. I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff. The first impression they made on us was excellent.

The employees here are very friendly, and based off my experience so far I would recommend Hartland Hills to others.

The staff members here are higher than 5 stars. The meals aren't the best right now, but that is because we just got a new chef and they are changing up the menu, but the dining service is really good. I do think the value for cost is a tad pricey.

We had a nice tour experience. We were in kind of a transitional place and didn’t know if we could afford it. They were a little bit out of our price range. But the facility was very nice. The staff we talked with were very helpful and very informative. Due to the pandemic, it was a virtual tour, so it wasn't wasn’t the same as meeting in person and being able to see the place in person. But they did a great job virtually taking us through and explaining how everything works. They were really good, and given the circumstances they did wonderfully.

I would tell everyone to consider looking into Palmer Hills. They've done a great job for my loved one and been very helpful. His apartment always looks clean. He has a 1-bedroom apartment, which has a nice sized living room and a kitchenette which is perfectly sized, plenty of closet space, a nice big bathroom, a big bedroom, all of which has been plenty big for him. It was an adjustment downsizing from a house, but the apartments are very nice. I like the staff - I've even been tempted to work there myself! He loves the food, and that's coming from a picky eater. It's been a good experience.

We had a great tour at Blair House. There were just some things about the facility that weren't the right fit for our loved one. They don’t have full apartments there. Instead, the living spaces are almost like a hotel room that offers a little kitchenette, and I just didn’t think our loved one would be comfortable with that set-up. Also, the rooms we saw were very small, and they just weren’t as updated. That being said, there was quite a price point difference between Blair House and the community we chose. Blair House's monthly fee was quite a bit less, and they had lower entrance fees as well. The sales director that we talked to really seemed to want to get to know our loved one and very much wanted to hear about her. She made the touring process very smooth and easy.

I moved into Country Squire because I was having problems problems walking and so my son got the place for me. I have a studio apartment and it is just fine for what I need. The staff members here are extremely nice and I am very happy. I would recommend to others looking.

My friend was in need of a place with some independence but not complete independence. They fix wonderful food and have plenty of time to socialize.

I've been here almost three years, and they have helped me through a lot. They're very compassionate about all the people that live here. Overall, everybody seems very nice. The activities are excellent, and the director has activities scheduled all the time. She's really active with her job and tries very hard to please everybody. I love my apartment. I live in a studio with a nice view of the back. I like that I can go out on my deck, sit and read, watch the deer that come out, and have a nice view. I also enjoy talking to my neighbors. Essex House is in a good location and very convenient to things nearby if you drive; otherwise they have a bus that takes us around.

The staff is wonderful, kind and helpful. They work hard to make us feel comfortable and secure. The community is neat and clean and the activities are fun I would recommend this community to others based on my experience

Being out of town i have much comfort knowing my parents are being well cared for and are protected. The staff and their care services are fabulous, they not only are professional but it feels like a family there. They treat them like family and have just been so good to them. The activities are off the chart amazing, the food is not perfect but it does meet their needs. We appreciate that they are working on improving the meals when they hear feedback from the residents.

I enjoy the place. It's close to me, which is fantastic. The staff is very welcoming and supportive. When I'm going out of town, I just let them know, and they'll check on my loved one more often than when I'm in town. Anything I ask of them, they're very helpful in resolving. My loved one is having a good time there.

My mom lived here for about three years until her recent passing. The staff made our time at the Manor work for my mom and our family. They made sure her apartment was maintained and everything she needed was there. They helped us find a caregiver when we needed one. They provided as much recreation and entertainment as possible, given the constraints of the pandemic. The Manor staff did a fantastic job of keeping the residents safe during this difficult time, and went out of the way to help our family stay connected, even setting up zoom visits on their laptop for Mom. [Name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], and all the staff were generous and kind. This is a good place. It was a great fit for us. Good location too.

The food is delicious. There's fun and activities. You get to know people. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I like my apartment very much. I have a wonderful view here of the flagpole and flowers outside, and I don't feel shut in.

The community is very nice and they have a great outdoor space for the residents. The food is amazing and my loved one enjoys it very much. I would recommend this community to others based on our experience
