My sibling is a resident at Holiday Echo Ridge. Moving into this situation is hard for an independent person. Facilities are going to have people at different stages in their lives and that sometimes can be an issue. Echo Ridge is an example of the different levels of care needed. It is an adjustment for the person that needs less care. The staff is excellent and friendly and they work hard at making people's experiences good. The food is acceptable, but not exciting. We would recommend Echo Ridge for a person that needs this sort of environment.

What we really like about Chateau de Champlain are the staff, they are all so very friendly and helpful. The community is more vibrant and homey that other communities tat we had visited. The residents all seem very friendly and happy there as well. We would absolutely recommend the Chateau de Champlain to other families looking for a community for their loved ones.

What we really like about Holiday Grizzly Peak is just how friendly everyone is there staff and residents alike. The food is also great - there is a nice variety for the residents to pick from as well as quality served food. That has becomes a large part of my Father's Day and he really looks forward to it. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend Holiday Grizzly Peak to other families.

I visited Holiday Sheldon Oaks to look for a possible place for my grandmother to live. The staff person who guided us was very knowledgeable, friendly and understood our particular needs for Nana. The facility was clean, organized and full of life, both in the people and in the outdoor spaces. Would recommend this place for anyone looking to find somewhere to move a loved one.

I would definitely say that living there is like having family around. You see staff in the dining room, cleaning apartments and really enjoying their job yet taking time to talk with you! I would recommend to others.

I actually only went to the Chateau. I talked to the other facilities, but I got a really good feeling with the Chateau and when the time came, I had to act fast. I also knew two different people that had been there and we're happy with it and the feeling there. It was very friendly and relaxed. One other thing is it's within 2 miles of my home. So far it's been a great experience. My dad is adapting very well and he's met many people and it feels like family.

My loved one is a resident at Victoria Park. Overall, I would recommend this facility to family and friends. However, the cost is outrageous for seniors and the food is not as good or as healthy as it could be.

Golden Oaks is a bright and well-maintained facility. There were several financial accommodations and incentives available to assist with the entrance fees. Golden Oaks has fewer extra fees, like pet , motorized wheelchair and parking charges. Meals are excellent. Office/administrative staff has been very friendly, answering all questions. Their new guest was being forced to make major life changes due to sudden health issues and reluctant to make this move. His concerns were patiently addressed and he has accepted his new living situation. Areas of improvement: - We were concerned about the inability to evacuate the upper residents in the case of an emergency, many that would have great trouble using the stairs. We were able to get a ground floor with its own exit. - A medical evaluation upon entering would have helped resident identify and accommodate his new physical and mental limitations. Those concerns coming from a professional would have helped the new resident, family and friends reach a common understanding of needs and required changes or adjustments. Hearing that information coming from only family and friends was often not accepted easily. - We are disappointed there isn't a gym available with basic machines and equipment available to assist with physical strength recovery. - He hasn't used the available transportation and is hesitant to try it. Having a staff member provide personal instruction and accompany him on a first bus trip would be very helpful. While no facility will ever be perfect for every resident, Golden Oaks has come close. We are pleased with this new environment and have recommended it to others.

The experience is good. She loves it there, and she's old enough to handle her self. They have a workout class, pool, cards, and fun activities, along with a pond to walk around, and ducks to feed. They have great meals and staff.

My loved one is a resident at Holiday Village Gate of Farmington and it's great! The staff and management are excellent and always willing to accommodate! I would very much recommend this facility to family and friends.

Everyone is really nice. My Aunt isn't always clear on where to be for certain things, but she is learning. The apartment that she has is really nice and she got a corner room with a bedroom and it has so many windows that let an amazing amount of natural light in. That is her favorite part. The girl that does her housekeeping is so friendly and does an excellent job as well.

This facility is safe, clean, and the staff is always working hard. The first few weeks transitioning were challenging. My loved one is gluten free and the kitchen staff needed to get to know her. She doesn't remember and/or eats what she wants. She did not make it easy for the kitchen staff, but they really try each day. So so grateful that she is there. Her apartment is great, too!

We chose Niagara Village because this is the only facility we found that offered meals three times a day. Right now, they do seem to have difficulty hiring enough staff members. I would recommend Niagara Village to others looking for independent living.

The housekeeping lady is not that great. Food- they run out of fruit and bread sometimes. The activities are good, but they could have more of a variety. As for Care...only the food staff is a little understaffed.

I toured Holiday Essex House and it was great. It's a lovely community. The facility felt very welcoming. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. However, my loved one thought that the other facility that we toured seemed more homey than this one.

The community offers a stable, affordable senior housing with an extraordinarily helpful, friendly staff. The apartments have carpet, a kitchenette, and ample closet space. Overall, it has been a good experience.

[name removed] from A Place For Mom was the biggest help. I would highly recommend it. I had to place a friend, and they had physical and occupational therapy.

My father was looking for an Independent Living facility having recently moved from a small sr. community to an asst. living facility. The Asst. Living arrangement was for his wife. After three months he decided that as nice as the facility was, it was just too expensive and he did not want to spend all his savings on it. He wanted an Independent Living Place and the family would find appropriate supportive care services for his wife. I worked through A PLACE FOR MOM. My contact there mentioned this one. After some urging,My father decided to go with me to visit Maple Suites in Dover, NH. We had a delightful visit and tour. And to the amazement of the Marketing Manager and myself, "he said he liked it and decided he wanted to move in"! The special multi-month Savings was also an added incentive. His monthly rent was also going to be 60% less than the Assisted Living Facility. He was able to move in the following week! They have been there 2 months and says he is very happy.

I'm having a wonderful experience here. The staff are great. I'm very comfortable here. I would recommend to anyone.

My mother has been very happy at Stamford. The staff obviously care and love their job. My mother's only complaint might be the meals, which although usually excellent, are sometimes a little too spicy for her. She loves most of the activities but sometimes she has commented that " the entertainment / movie tonight put me to sleep. "
