Staff is especially cognizant of resident special needs (i.e.. allergies, physical difficulties, etc.) Staff, available when needed and very patient. Staff pleasant and unusually accommodating. We would give them all 10 stars.

An excellent place to live

Manor at Oakridge is truly a right fit for me. Being handicapped and eligible for independent living has enable me to make friends and feel happy to have my own space!

I tell people that I live in a luxury hotel. We have a very good activity director and she keeps us very busy. I have told many friends and family about this community. I did this whole thing so that I could be taken care of and that is what is happening.

It's been difficult helping my folks make the transition to a retirement community, but all the staff at Indigo Pines has been amazing, supportive, and loving. My folks are beginning to settle in and are finding friendships and three chef-prepared meals are a real improvement in their lives. Thank you Indigo Pines!!

This community felt institutional and like an assisted living facility other than a home. Other than this everything was great it just did not feel right.

I have never lived in another community, so I have nothing to compare it to but I am content and satisfied. Enjoy the people.

Rolling Hills Ranch was in our top 2 choices. The facility is very clean and the rooms are a great size. The only reason we did not choose them was due to the location for our family, but it is a great place.

Everything has been good so far, our loved one is happy and very satisfied. The meals and dining gets a 4 out of 5 only because they are having trouble keeping the staff, but we do know all communities are struggling with keeping help. Our loved one enjoys the church services, and right now the value for cost is pretty good and fair.

I felt really good about the community. This community was a bit to far away from where I wanted my loved ones to be. They are still driving and we wanted them to be in an familiar area without the highway.

The room [name removed] (our sales person) picked out for me is perfect. I love it here. I'm close to everything I need.

Before I cam here I was a mental mess and I didn't think I could make it another day. As soon as I go to Hidden Lakes I got involved in activities and started eating in the dining room. I have met so many wonderful people and feel better than I have since my husband died. My son is glad he has his mom back.

I feel like this community is very beautiful and has a beautiful courtyard and a nice atmosphere. My loved one does not participate in many activities but they do have things for the residents to do to keep them busy.

Moving our father from another local facility to the Chateau at Harveston was a wonderful experience. Staff were welcoming,, helpful and accommodating as we navigated a pandemic and new environment. The friendly available and well-trained staff made our father feel a part of the community and make our visits safe and inviting. Things are not perfect, but when a concern is expressed or a question asked, every attempt is made to solve the problem or answer the question in a timely matter. The staff seem to be well trained in geriatric awareness and skills as they care for the older residents. We are so pleased with the community spirit and the kind service the Chateau at Harveston provides!

After 3 years here I remain very happy. The food, administration, facility and cost are all ok.

I very much enjoy living in our community and the staff are extremely helpful.

This is a fabulous place for anyone to live. My loved one does not participate in activities but there are a lot of things for them to do. This is a great place for your loved one.

Beautifully remodeled and updated building. So happy that I decided to move here. The chef has been here for years and is terrible! But new management has really stepped up and is bringing great changes and life back to the building!

I'm in California and my 95 year old dad is in south-western Maine. He didn't want to leave the area but didn't know any place he could move that fit his needs. He's basically self sufficient and wanted to live with other people that were as well. I reached out to a Place for Mom and received immediate help in finding the perfect place for my dad! The end of June, Dad moved to south-eastern New Hampshire, just 15 minutes from where he was living in Maine. I was able to visit him in early October. What an awesome facility! My dad is as happy as can be, has already made a bunch of friends and loves the facility and food. A Place for Mom made all of this possible! Thank you for being such a fantastic resource! I couldn't have done it without you!

Our family had an in person tour and it just was not suitable for our loved one needs, it was more geared towards independent living and they needed more assistance with memory care. It also needs to be refreshed on the inside.
