I like here. I have the freedom to do what I want and I appreciate the dog treats the sales lady give my girls.

I have been very pleased at this community for myself . It may not be the swankiest but it is the homiest community. They are good with everything. They have a lot of activities and different things for us to do.

I chose Anchor Pointe because I watched this facility being built and actually put a deposit on it at the time. The apartment sizes are great, I have one of the biggest that they offer. I am on the corner I have 3 windows and lovely carpet in the living room and bedroom and wood floors in the kitchen. I think they could improve on the food, the soup is amazing but some of the variety on the other meals is not what I would expect. I love it here, the grounds are absolutely beautiful. If you like to go walking or be outdoors you could not find a better place. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

Our family is have a good experience so far and our sister in law is really enjoying it. Sometimes it is hard for her to get around due to her health but she is feeling very comfortable and likes all the services that are offered.

Overall I was very impressed with my tour at Victorian, everything went quite well and it seemed like a great facility.

My parents have lived at BWL for 6 months. I can't say enough positive about the community. The meals are fantastic, the staff is amazing and the residents are friendly. They are very social and the activities keep them busy! I would strongly recommend BWL to anyone in the future.

Court at Pringle Creek is amazing, and our aunt is really loving it there.

My brother and I never imagined finding the ideal place for our mom would be so easy. Michigan has long been our family’s home, so when Mom’s independence began to slip, my brother, in Connecticut, and myself, in North Dakota, desperately needed to find an independent living facility near home where she could become part of a community. The Blue Water Lodge was it. From day one, the Lodge’s staff has been supportive, attentive, and caring. I should be used to it by now, but I’m always pleasantly surprised to come home and hear everyone from dining room servers to the site director greeting Mom by name while pleasantly kibitzing with her. It’s been three years since Mom became a resident at the Lodge, and in that time neither she nor anyone else in our family has even once considered looking into a new home for her. Every so often, first time’s the charm…

So happy our Grandfather is at the blue water lodge. And the management is the epitome of professionalism. Thank You Barb Watson for all that you do.

People are really friendly and its a nice place to be

I enjoy volunteering and spending time with the residents. The staff is so friendly and amazing.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a really nice tour but we wanted apartment that had kitchens in them for our loved one to cook and this did not.

The staff are very nice and helpful. There are lots of activities, library, game room, hair salon, chapel and snack and coffee bar. All meals and cleaning included. Really like that residents seemed welcoming. The shuttle bus is a great option, especially over the winter. There are no buy ins or community fees which is important to my dad who is very money focused. I like we can hire caregivers when needed as dad ages. Two thumbs up!

After our visit and tour of the Manor I was very impressed with how our guide spontaneously interacted with every staff member we encountered as well as residents who were returning from an outing. Everyone was HAPPY and the one resident who was obviously a bit tired from the outing was still smiling and talking about how “the cake was delicious from the other day”. I noticed ongoing efforts in upkeep that were not even pointed out for me such as freshly painted walls throughout the building. The flexibility of the Manor at Woodside is outstanding. They want happy, satisfied residents and families. I believe all staff and residents we encountered were known by name.

Kittery Estates is the best independent senior living in the area - very well kept , the meals are great , super friendly staff and great management team . Super happy with our decision moving loved one in the community!

I was married for 50 years. Had 3 kids and they are life. After my husband passed away life started playing tricks on me. I started slowing down to the point of not being to keep up with daily task. I knew then that something needed to change, and being alone wasn't workiing. I Took a leap of faith and came to Manor At Woodside for clarity. The minute of meeting the staff I knew right in there what I needed to do. Being at Manor gave a sense of purpose and now I am able to say that I have ave found home away from home.

Before coming here, I was alone, scared asking myself if this would be the way I will be feeling for the rest of my life. Then I got the courage to look into senior community and my life changed for ever. Came to Manor At Woodside to meet with [name removed] and in a blink of an eye I wasn't feeling alone, scared and my future started to look bright. I have finally found a new home with my new family.
