Looking forward to moving in and making new friends. They have a full calendar of activities. When I touredI had the most amazing lunch cooked by there Chef. Lunch was served with fresh baked bread. The staff was very friendly. The people living there all seemed so happy and cheers.

Overall experience is wonderful. You could eat off the floor . The staff is amazing. The quality of life is wonderful. Meals need some work. The activities leave a lot to be desired. Value is not bad. All things considered, it's a nice place to live.

Aspen View is a very friendly and welcoming community. The residents are always cheerful and busy with activities, the staff is exceptional! They tend to every resident need in a timely manner, they always have a smile on their face and always asking if residents or family members need anything. Very clean place and food is wonderful! Highly recommend to other families!

I toured with a friend and we were both very impressed by the Sales Manager, [name removed], who showed us around. She was very kind, caring, and explained the community and all it had to offer. She is very knowledgeable. My friend did move in this month and I am looking forward to visiting. I would suggest this community to anyone considering making a move, and ask for [name removed]!!

It's a lovely upscale residential home. My daughter & her family lice in the same neighborhood so I can walk to their house. I was impressed with the size of the apts. I have three huge floor to ceiling windows & get lots of light. I enjoy watching the birds and squirrels play by my deck. There is pathways to stroll around the place. We have an above ground garden made out of railroad ties & this spring I planted tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, & several herbs. There is bingo, table tennis, choir, exercises, music entertainment on Fridays. We also have church services & bible study. The staff are helpful. House keeping, cooks, wait staff, repair men, etc. Our bus is my favorite thing I like here. The driver [name removed] is fun. There is one that outshines the others & she has a giving heart and we an really relate to her. Her name is [name removed] & she is in the office with finance. I have beginning of Alzheimer's and get technical stuff mixed up & I come to her to show me what I am doing wrong. I feel comfortable in asking her "dumb" questions & she doesn't give me the look! Not only has she taught me how to do stuff on my phone, but she has helped many residents with their problems. One resident couldn't take care of her little dog so she tried to find a new home for the puppy but finally brought the little guy to live with her! Even during our meal time, she will stroll over to our table & ask how each person is doing. That really makes a lasting impression on us!

I am currently a resident at Holiday Niagara Village and everything has been great. I'm happy with everything. I would recommend this facility to others.

Everyone very helpful and very nice. Food is ok but I don't wat breakfast or lunch. Would like plan for meals we eat.

I have lived here for 2 years and still love it. The remarkable staff has been consistent in their service and care. No matter how busy they are they still take time to hear us. All that is offered here is top notch.

Initially the reviews showed horrific reviews about the food and I voice my concern very early on about the quality of food the taste of the food the quantity of food the types of food. And I let the general manager know that I wanted to taste exactly what is given to the residents here so bring me a meal and she did. I thought the food was excellent I would have no problem eating it everyday it's as good as you're going to get at a mid grade restaurant sitting down for breakfast lunch or dinner. The staff are wonderful they are absolutely amazing people that are so dedicated and so caring you don't see it up front you only come to this understanding after you have interacted with them when your family member resides there but believe me when I tell you they're truly wonderful people and they have your family members best interest at heart. I looked at over 18 different locations for independent and assisted living from Florida to Massachusetts New Hampshire there's a lot of factors that come into play number one there's enormous wait lists at many facilities you can be waiting 6 to 12 months 24 months and some there's an indefinite waiting period to get a family member inside. So that was of importance to me number one number two the proximity to a main hospital is extremely important. Wall Village Gate does not have a nurse on staff they are 10 minutes away only a few miles driving from UConn hospital in Farmington which is everything that your family member would ever potentially need all under One roof. Next it is very very clean there's no trash in the parking lot there's no trash around the perimeter everything is manicured to perfection inside the floors are immaculate it's no different than if you were to walk in to say a Marriott hotel everything is clean not only aesthetically but smells clean and it presents itself well. Please understand it's not the most modern facility and some of the carpets are showing their age but that is easily remedied just by replacement and I was told that that is going to be part of what's going to happen in the general areas over the next couple of months. The apartments that I looked at are all nice and roomy from a size there arranged so it's easy for a loved one to move around they will work with you in terms of where you want hold bars installed for safety and accommodate your requests. All in all it's been a very positive experience at Village Gate .

I feel blessed you gave me such a great referral! They have provided a home that my ex husband can afford and he is able To maintain his independence. They clean every week! He has 3 meals a day with eggs made To order every day and he was able to keep his dog for a small Monthly fee. I've already recommended them this place To others!

They have all the meals and housekeeping included with the rent. Staff are friendly and helpful and the other residents are welcoming. Beautiful place with great views from the balcony. There are also care agencies with offices in the building. Great community for a very reasonable price compared to others in the area.

My mother has lived in her apartment at Golden Oaks for almost three years. During this time, I have observed and interacted with the staff multiple times per week and found them to be gracious, caring, and professional. The apartments range in size from studios to two bedrooms. The common areas, hallways, and dining room have recently undergone an extensive remodel and provide a nice place for this community to meet together to eat, do activities, and enjoy the company of one another. The interior and exterior grounds are clean and well maintained. There is ample opportunity for residents to take walks on the grounds or sit outside with their friends and enjoy the day. Overall I believe that Golden Oaks is worth considering if the time comes to find a new place for mom or dad.

[name removed] made it possible for me to have a tour because he sent a employee to pick me up immediately. I was impressed by the apartment I chose which was completely refurbished. Lovely space for my large too. The amount of space is double in size of before and more comfortable. Although there is no stove, this is fine with me because I have a microwave and good refrigerator. All appliances and everything is new and comfortable. I appreciate the attention and care given to me and other residents.

I find the current staff more than willing to meet our request. I appreciate the honesty and willingness to have a conversation with the residents. The activities are well planned for this age group. The general atmosphere of Edgewood is light, airy, clean and pleasant to be around. Its nice to come home too.

I couldn't be happier with my home here. The staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable. The residents are also very pleasant; I have made many new friends here. There are lots of activities to keep you active. Meals are served restaurant style, three times daily. There is also a gym, activities room and a chapel. This place is top notch!!!

A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE SAID HIS MOTHER WAS HERE AND HER EXPERIENCE AND HIS WAS EXCELLENT. I DECIDED TO SEE FOR MYSELF. I WAS MET AT THE DOOR BY APLEASANT LADY WHO INTRODUCED ME TO [name removed], ONE OF THE MANAGERS, HE SPENT QUITE A WHILE NOT ONLY TELLING ME ABOUT INDIGO PINES BUT INTRODUCING ME TO THE PHYSICAL FACILITY. IT WAS ALL I NEEDED TO SAY YES AFTER LOOKING AT A NUMBER OF ROOMS, AT ANY RATE I MOVED IN LAST WEEK AND SO FAR I HAVEN"T BEEN HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING (ESPECIALLY THE FOOD AND THE EMPLOYEES.)

I really enjoy visiting Country Squire. I am a Communication Specialist with Freudenthal Hospice. I volunteer with activities at Country Squire once a month. I really enjoy the smiles on the residents faces when I visit.

The building looks wonderful and the tree is lovely for the holidays.

I have visited Country Squire twice now. Once during their Grand Reopening and once for an Outreach event. Every time I come to an event everyone is very nice and helpful.
