Its only been a few weeks and haven't had a lot of interaction with staff and they are short on cleaning staff, so not sure how its going to be. Its a unique facility that allows loved one to maintain some independence while providing meals and basic cleaning. I like that there are choices for meals and like the daily activities that are available.

A Place for Mom, did an excellent job setting us up with the right facilities for mom to view all within 4 - 5 Miles from one another. However, Château at Harveston is the top of the line, from the onsite staff, to the beautiful facility, building esthetics, and steps to the Lake. More importantly there are many activities for the seniors to play and or simply rest at their leisure in the afternoons. If you are looking for a place for your parents to assist them in living out their best lives, set up your visit today. You will be happy that you did.

A Place for Mom arranged for me to call a certain company about veteran services. It was for Americans and not Canadians. So I would recommend in the future recommending the proper organization for the country the resident lives in and served for.Other than that A Place for Mom was very helpful to us during a difficult time and I am very grateful for that.

Mom LOVES it there! 5 out of 5 stars (or 10 out of 10) on EVERY level. Friendly, caring, and personable staff and residents; clean facility; offers community involvement/access including a beautiful walking path, participation in the annual Boyertown Halloween Parade, rides to go shopping or to appointments, and an on-site cosmetologist. Really, once we saw all of the happy residents and found out that an employee's own grandparents live there, Mom and I were sold! She's given nothing but unsolicited positive reviews since moving in. When we were considering the moved, she was a bit nervous about being "the new kid in class", but she made friends very quickly and was made to feel at home as soon as she found her home-at Walnut Woods.

We moved my brother into The Manor at Woodside last year. We were greeted by welcoming staff that are very dedicated to their jobs, from the first day meeting [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] the front desk staff, house keepers, and health aides. My brother called the Manor at Woodside home. They were accommodating and worked with him to create solutions needed. He was transported to and from dialysis 3 times a week. As his needs progressed, he was able to get the help he needed from [name removed] cleaning his room and doing his laundry, health aides needed almost 24 hours by [name removed] dedicated team, meals brought to his room, etc... If I had any questions, I was answered right away via text by [name removed]. I do recommend the Manor at Woodside to take care of your loved ones. I have seen other facilities and this is the most reasonable and clean.

The staff are pretty friendly. They were accommodating while we were moving dad in. Dad says the food is sometimes good and sometimes not so good. Otherwise, the experience has been good for him.

I still would choose this place, because of location, closeness of facilities: medical, shopping, location , banking, animal services, others! Other inspected places are either too far out from general happenings (my expectations on environments) or bad images and impressions from visiting tours. I was just overwhelmed from the friendliness of this locations representatives and decided immediately to sign the contract! A follow up cooling phase seems to be standard. But all-over-all I'm staying with my decision!

I initially met with [name removed] and she was fabulous! Staff is all courteous, respectful and, best of all, helpful! Recommend due to respectful, courteous and, best of all, helpful staff.

Whatever issue you might have, they will help find a solution. Although this is an independent facility, they have private duty help available for reasonable rates. Guests are able to join residents for meals for $5.

I really like it here. Everyone including the staff are so nice and friendly. The meals are good and very tasty. I got a great deal on the cost so I am content.

The staff and housekeeping have all been very helpful and friendly. The move in was a bit challenging because communication was initially poor due to turnover of employees. They tried to make it right, which was good on their part. The meals to begin with were much better in beginning and have been hit or miss. They only offer one hot meal option at lunch and dinner, with an alternative sandwich or a salad. I was shocked that they served bologna as a sandwich option and think it's unacceptable and they should have more options, especially for those who may have dietary issues and just for the sake of maybe not wanting the only particular hot option. Also, some of the food that should be hot is served cold. So overall, they need improvement in this area especially when residents can't really cook in their apartments. I would recommend as it is a more affordable place and they are investing with construction upgrades. The staff that I have encountered have all been really great.

I would say that I would move there myself given the chance. We moved here because we were offered a trial month.

Each day is special!!

My 91 yr old Mom is enjoying her new home here at Canyon Meadows as it was quite an adjustment moving her from MB to Calgary. The staff and residents are so very welcoming that they make Mom feel quite at home. Hard to do since she came from a place she had lived in for +70 yrs. There are a variety of activities available and constantly new ones are being tried out so they stay current with changing times. Entertainment is consistently brought into the building and enjoyed by not only the residents but for any family members who would like to sit in with their parent. No complaints at all about the meals. In face I take in certain foods to Mom that I know were favourites of hers in days gone by and she's usually always full from her meal and doesn't seem to need anything else brought to her. Having a hairdresser on site and visits from a doctor is also a plus. Mom doesn't even have to go outdoors if she's not in the mood. Keep up the great service and care.

The staff at Illahee Hills are great with the Seniors and they really care. The main reason we chose this facility over others we saw was because of the value for the money. It is worth the money and brings me mental peace having my dad here.

Love my new home. Indigo Pines is a great place to life. Good activities to keep you busy: entertainers, camaraderie is abundant and enjoy all the activities were are challenged with. Staff is friendly and inviting and you will enjoy friendships!

This place has been an amazing part of the community for years. Their new remodel has just improved everything and brought new life to the building. The staff is super kind and ready to help you with any and everything.

My relative has been at Golden Oaks for over five years and she loves living there. She was resistant at first but now calls it home. She has made life long relationships with people and no longer isolates. She was home alone daily and never has to feel that emptiness again because new friends and staff. She loves the friendly staff and likes new the remodel of the community. The staff is what makes the community welcoming to family and residents. Way to go Golden Oaks

I moved my father closer to me. It was time. This place was so welcoming. I love the openness and brightness of this beautiful living place. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming to us. My father is happy and really loves living here. That is what is most important to my family. A perfect place for elders to be. There is so much to do, the food choices are his favorite
