Strictly based on the tour, Hidden Lakes is very nice. The 1 bedroom unit that we saw was excellent condition & would have been more than sufficient for Mom. We appreciated [name removed]’s honesty & suggestions & we liked the financial worksheet they provide in their packet. It will be very helpful in Mom determining how much she can actually afford.

We don't require care, we are independent and this is not an assisted living facility. We like it here, just wish it was not quite so expensive, we are still pretty active so we are not always here for meals. The staff is great, it is a very nice facility, very clean. We have one of the larger apts. with 2 bedrooms & 2 baths. Clothes closets are too small. The food is usually pretty good.

The management is great, [name removed] and [name removed] are the best. They’re both there helping out when you need something, serving coffee and helping the wait staff at meal time. I had to check around when my Uncles previous Senior living was getting to expensive. Valencia Commons saved us $2,000 a month. I’m glad we made the move! My Uncle feels at home there. They offer the residents family free meals for the first month to help them settle into their new home.

Victoria Park is a wonderful community. Their welcome package and orientation process help newcomers settle in, and everyone there is very friendly. We felt at home and comfortable from the day we moved Dad in. The staff are friendly, respectful, and trustworthy. The facility is about to get a needed renovation, which will add to its appeal.

The facility if very nice, pretty. However, the setup of the 2 bedroom unit is not inviting. The layout is horrible and I can't imagine who would find that appealing - it almost looks like it was pieced together as an afterthought.

really liked the set up and services offered, the area is a bit busy for those in the independent living units - it would be a challenge for them to drive in that area. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars

Overall my mother does like the facility. Generally the meals are good but on occasion, not what one would expect for a facility that charges a premium for rent. Staff are responsive and seem genuinely interested in the health and well being of their residents. The facility is well looked after and clean

The group at Primrose was very informative and answered all our questions. Thy were also very accommodating with the painting of her new suite. It was very nice to deal with them and they were very pleasant to work with.

Victoria Park is a beautiful peaceful home for my mom. The day after the big move she said "I feel like I have been here for years". Very comforting to say the least. The staff is not only accommodating but very pleasant to talk to and eager to help out at any time. Meals are great and plentiful.

Was here in a bachelor suite for a couple of weeks post hip surgery in May of 2018. I found staff very accommodating. I needed someone with me for a couple of days and a mattress was supplied for her for that time as well as furnishing the suite for me for my whole stay The food was great with lots of options, and a real event in the day. I liked that the main meal is served at noon. I found the two week stay very pleasant. Although there were many activities offered every day, I did not participate in much so have no real opinion. I liked that my dog could have stayed with me. Downside is that the short term stays are only if they have a suite available at the time and there is no nursing care .

It’s a pleasure to live here and the people are pleasant.

Good place to live, good people. Food and services OK! Management is OK. Sometimes lack of information and communication.

Things are gotten much better at Birch Heights. [name removed] has done well.

This was a very nice community and the unit that was available was really nice. I just could not get used to the idea of going outside in the elements to get to the dinning and activities building.

My mom lives here in her transition from Florida. It is at a good location that will allow me to check on her to or from work/church.

The one thing mostly complained about is the menu. They try way to hard. My mom and most of who I talk to would like a plain meal not the fancy names and sauces. They would like plane mash potatoes not covered in cheese and cream. They complain that there is sause on everything they are told they can order it on the side but most do not want to cause trouble. They have fancy names and if they do not know what it is they take a sandwich instead.
