We chose Court at Rushdale because it was a monthly lease after the 3 month lease. The apartment sizes are very nice here. You are completely independent, so there is no one here to check on you or care for you. Overall, I would recommend if you are are completely independent with no health issues.

We chose Birch Heights because it was recommended and we thought it was the best fit at the time. The apartment sizes here are decent, he had the middle sized one and it was adequate for his needs. I would want others to know that we had issues with their accounting department, so be careful with any automatic payments. If they do take your money, they are very slow at giving it back.

The community is too expensive. The food isn't good especially with COVID. All the residents are being served food in their room. I wish there was a way to see and touch my loved one. There is no mandatory stay in your room order for the residents. This is a corporate decision, I realize this. I just find it sad.

I am still living at Montara Meadows. I do like my apartment and housekeeping service. New management isn't quite as accommodating as the previous one was. The regular office staff is still great as ever. Food could be better. Some days it is excellent and then??? I guess everyone can't be satisfied but I do not like fast food type meals at any time, Too much pasta and rice. Not what a senior should have.
