Caring. Try very hard to please but cut back on cleaning and bed changing. Overall pleasant living.

The workers have done everything possible to keep us safe and as comfortable as possible in this extremely difficult time. They do this with smiles and pleasant attitudes.

We need a qualified experienced chef. Better quality food (more variety). Very good employees and service. Good maintenance. We have had a very good manager, but corporate should provide more support to management.

I would tell my friends that it is a nice place for my loved one to live. It gives him the independence he needs but the convenience for him. The activities are a little light. I wish they had more activities for the residents. The activities include: bingo, crossword, cards, and light concerts in the back of the community.

We chose the Essex House for my parents because of the location and the cost. The apartment they have is sufficient, I would have liked to see them have more counter space in the kitchen. I have always had good relations with the staff members here. My favorite part about the community would be the friendliness of the staff members. They show a lot of concern for their residents. They do a good job of taking care of the residents and their needs.

I liked The Manor at Woodside very much.

We originally chose The Manor at Woodside because of the location, it was very clean, and just what my mother in law needed. The room sizes are good for one person, she adjusted well. She really likes the food. One issue we have had is we signed a lease that restricted the next years rent to 4% and they charged 6%. Every time I try to call, no one calls me back. During these challenging times they have done a good job so I would recommend this community.

I would tell them I would recommend it. My loved one is happy, and you can't ask for more than that. Prior to COVID they had bingo and cards as activities. The room was fine for my loved one, and they did have different options available for rooms.

Made many new friends in 5 years. Great way to retire. Three meals every day.

We chose White Oaks because it was all inclusive. The studio I saw was a good size for one person. The food was pretty good, they have a daily menu with choices. My favorite part about this community would be the staff members, they are attentive and they know all of the residents. I would recommend.

I have only been here for five weeks. The staff is friendly, and the management isn't as friendly. We have starting to open the dining room, and they limit it to one day a week that have limit it to 20 people and you have your day to go due to the virus. There is only staff from 7 am to 7 pm and no overnight. There haven't been much activities due to the virus, they are starting to bring back activities such as bingo.

They are a good place with very friendly residents. The staff did a solid job of taking care of the residents. We had a positive overall experience. The room sizes were good and the layout was good. They have an outdoor space for residents. My father in law liked the food.

I have been a resident at Redwood for 2 years. I enjoy the company of many people here in Napa. Every member of the staff is friendly and caring I most appreciate the access we have to transportation. The pandemic has created many challenges but I am confident that we will have a more normal living experience soon. I look forward to enjoying outings sharing meals in the dining room and returning to normal living!

Everything great, until COVID. Now, we have to stay in our rooms. Not allowed out, can walk dogs and walk outdoors.

Have felt very comfortable and safe living here. The staff has been very accommodating. Listened to our suggestions and have acted on some of them.

Although on the experience side, The Regent is a great place to live. Staff and employees are cheerful and helpful. We are disappointed that several of the selling points that caused us to choose The Regent no longer apply such as managers on premises 24/7 and a change of chicken breast as a permanent option.

1) [name removed] (the manager), [name removed] and activities coordinator have done a fabulous job during the COVID lockdown. The food is good. Facility well-maintained. I know my mother is well taken care of. The only complaint is the annual 6% rent increase, makes the cost higher than new tenants, unfair.

I chose this community because my son and I looked at them all and we chose the same one. The room sizes are very spacious, I also have a balcony. I have no complaints about the food. My favorite part about the community is the friendliness of employees and the residents. I would absolutely recommend Maple Downs.
