Overall everything is good - I came here from another community that was trying to raise the rates and the value here is much better, I really like my apartment, it has been recently remodeled. Based on my experience we would absolutely recommend this community to other families. There are good people here

Been here almost 9 years. My home sweet home!

Their hybrid model (on-site 3rd party PCA care) keeps costs reasonable. Housekeeping provided and excellent. Family-like atmosphere among staff.

We were impressed with Holiday Crescent Heights. I liked the look of the facility. And the manager, [name removed], was very helpful. The tour was very well done. The people there seemed happy. Unfortunately, it was just a little too far away for us. The staff were not quite as friendly as the over-the-top friendly staff at the place we chose, but I thought it was a very nice place. It was our second choice.

The facility is run by nice people but it is a bit outdated. They could update the common areas, and the apartments (the cabinets and fixtures are all extremely old).

All of the staff members have been very friendly and welcoming and at times they were having trouble with house keeping but they are fully staffed now so that is improving. There are a lot of activities going on which is nice and when we come to visit we have eaten a few meals there and to us its tasty, not bland and we can see other healthy options.

The community itself is very bright and open and all the staff is friendly. We would recommend this community to other families.

The staff members are very friendly and very nice - that is something we really like and appreciate. The meals are pretty good we have been able to eat there relatively often. They do have activities but there could be more to do in the evenings after dinner, our loved one tends to get bored after dinner.

The tour experience with Rock Creek was great. My loved one just needed a higher energy level than she saw here.

We picked this community, because they had quick availability, it was proximity to my house, the location of room available and the GM [name removed] was extremely friendly and welcoming They supported the transition into facility. Housekeeping is hit or miss some weeks.

This facility overall has been a very good experience for my loved one and our family. We're happy with it! The staff are all very approachable, accountable, and friendly. Housekeeping is done weekly and it seems to be good. Communication with the family is good. They haven't had to reach out to us yet, but we have reached out to them and their response is immediate. This facility is a good place. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. They have very friendly staff who are also helpful. There are three meals a day served to the residents.

Things have been good for my dad at this facility. He seems to be doing fine here. One of our goals was to get him more socialization and he's doing that at this facility. He's made a group of friends and is participating in the activities. He is doing painting class and Bible Study so far. They offer a good variety of activities. He says food is a hit or miss, as far as quality. Sometimes it's really good, sometimes not. From what he says, Lunch is almost always good. It's dinner that is a hit or a miss as far as tasting good. Housekeeping is once a week and his place is always clean. However, he's a neat freak. So I'm not sure how much of that is from his doing and how much is from Housekeeping themselves. Communication with the family is fine. The staff has all been very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Nice visit - thorough tour of facility, including available rooms. Appreciate friendliness of [name removed] and her taking plenty of time to show us around and answer questions. Since we didn't experience dining and meals or actual care, it's hard to evaluate those things except on first impressions.

All in all, I am pleased of everything. I was extremely pleased with how everything was handled during covid. I think they need to start updating things in rooms. (i.e. bathrooms, mirrors, countertops. Carpets really need to be replaced throughout the community. It is making the place smell like a convalescent home when you walk in instead of a retirement center. A few times I have walked down the hall and it smelled like poop.

Our family moved our Mom to Atria Simi Hills in February of 2022. We are thankful that she is safe and has meals provided and a nice, bright apt with a nice balcony overlooking the trees and entrance to the community. The Kitchen Staff are especially caring, friendly and good at their job. The other Staff ([name removed], [name removed], and [name removed]) have been helpful as well. Thr ComfoCare Staff are very understanding ([name removed] and [name removed]). The only things I would recommend improving are: 1) More music/entertainment during or after dinner. My Mom attended the recent Thanksgiving dinner and told me that the only thing missing was music. Maybe Atria can get a local church or school singing group to entertain thr folks once-in-awhile. The Choir Director at Atria shouldn't be so strict. Afterall, the seniors have memory issues and it’s not a professional choir. It should just be for everyone’s enjoyment. 2) Supervised field trips that even residents with mild dementia could go on. Thank yo

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour experience, the building itself is nice but the tour lady was just okay

The activities offered, they are engaging in the activities and has found a few friends there as well. The place is great and they love it there, The place is clean and staff are all great, my moms Italian so she's picky about the food but my dad will eat anything. Was disappointed they went up on rent eff.[date removed]after only being there [Time Frame Removed], should have been locked in for a year.

The central dining is pretty good but I notice they aren't equipped to prepare for anyone on a special diet. The food is of pretty good quality. The facility is a wonderful community atmosphere, very neighborly. Very caring people residents/staff. Activities a plenty from musical performances, games, trips to local shops and restaurants, casino for those who wish to get out and involved. Nice accommodations that are soon going to be renovated in the common areas.

Overall rating: They "sold" my mom on the quality of living at the residence, making promises, which they mostly come through on, if you can find someone and ask several times. Cleanliness: The facility is clean. Housekeeping service for the room, not up to par. Friendliness: Everyone is very pleasant and have a lot of patience. Care Services: I have called for help from the PSW, there are 2 available services inside the home. I left several messages, only one returned my call, ridiculous in-house cost and have yet to hear from the other, called in September. Staff: Friendly staff just not enough of them. The overnight woman, not enough experience. Activities: Not much variety, a little boring. Value for Cost: A little expensive for the size of the room, basing the rate on the area, other homes are cheaper. (I completed this with my mom, whom is the resident)
