The friendliness of the staff members and the cleanliness of the community really stood out to us from the beginning. We would recommend this community to others families.

We've had a good experience at Willow Grove. I like the fact that there are people there and a button my loved one can push for help in an emergency. They serve three meals a day. And if she has a problem, they usually address sit. They have a lot of activities and lots of things to do. They come once a week to clean the apartments, which is good. They just don't clean like I clean.

The staff without a doubt is really outstanding. Everyone is very competent and helpful and making sure everyone's needs are met. The Activity Director doing a great job in returning to more activities and social meetings which was cancelled due to Covid pandemic. Our bus driver is truly extraordinary in performing her job trying to get everyone where they need to go is improving.

My son moved here in Durham and I lost my loved of my life, home, so he showed me several places to start my life over and I felt it was nice reasonably close by to where he was and it felt just right to me so here is my home!

My father seems happy in his new living arrangements. He enjoys the food and the friends he has made. The staff has always been welcoming. And there is a lot happening. He especially enjoys playing bridge.

We chose Bluebird Estates because of the overall appearance when you walk in, it is open and airy, the staff were all super friendly, and they were able to get a 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor. They really enjoy the food that they serve, the residents get a menu a week ahead and they have alternatives if it is something that you do not like. They are able to have visitors for lunch which is something they really enjoy that. If there are any problems they jump right on it. The manager [name removed] is awesome, he will bend over backwards for anybody. My parents are very happy here and I would highly recommend the facility to others who are looking.

This is a beautiful place to stay. I love my apartment and get a long with everyone. The staff and the people get a long really well with everyone and I was told that is one of the biggest things when you go to a place. This is a new home .

An amazing community of very special people. And a garden like outdoors with a beautiful lake is a great situation for peaceful living.

This community was really similar to another community that we toured also. It was cheaper than where I am now for the same unit that we have now also it was about availability. I also decided to be closer to family in HI.

I had a good virtual tour at Edgewood Downs. Nothing wrong with it that I could tell. It was just out of my price range.

We chose Cedar Ridge because of the friendliness of the staff members and it is just overall a great facility. The residents are all very welcoming and the apartment sizes are nice. It seems like everybody looks out for everybody. I would highly recommend to others looking.

Food needs improvement. Seating should be reserved.

It's a great place for someone to build new friendships and really feel included. My loved one has perked up like crazy since she's been there . It's only been a couple of months, but every conversation I have with her, she has so much to talk about. She's so much brighter and happier since she's moved in. She generally likes the food, although every now and then she doesn't like what they serve. She also likes me to take her shopping so she can have her afternoon snack that she likes. But otherwise she's quite happy with the food, and I loved what I tried as well. There's lots of variety and different options. I like the apartment a lot. It's a nice layout, very bright and open with lots of windows and light. I also like that the furniture and the walls are light colors, so it feels nice and bright. It's a little costly, but its seems worth it at this point.

We chose Birch Heights because it was a nice facility and the apartments were newly renovated and looked brand new. They also did not have a large entrance fee like some others we saw. The staff were very accommodating and she said the food was always great with many choices. I thought the place was excellent and I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

The staff were very helpful and very friendly. The rooms were nice and clean. The dining room was very nice, which we enjoyed. There were some activities but not a lot. Overall I thought it was a very nice place.

I have lived here two years. Many things could be improved with very little effort. Mostly just do what they say they'll do. Be consistent. Enforce the rules. Make it fair so all are treated the same.

I Donald are especially grateful for the administration. Staff and truly all of my neighbors at Valencia Commons who i truly say have grown on me. Thank you again for the opportunity.

Like the staff. Help with cleaning & meals. Enjoy people older like me to visit. Could use another elevator. Have many activities if want to do them.

I enjoyed my tour at Valencia Commons. The staff were very nice to me, and I felt like they really wanted me to be there. But the staff at the community I ended up choosing really went above and beyond to figure out the challenges and problems I was facing at the time, and they gave me a lot of help and assistance and stuck with me to work through and solve those problems.
