The cost is fair but it is a bit expensive. The lowest cost property in the area.

We chose The Springs because the food is cooked on site instead of brought in and the value for the money was great as well. The apartment sizes are very good. I do wish that they had a bar, a lot of other places we visited did happy hours or social hours and they were the only ones that did not provide that. I would recommend to others looking.

There's always room for improvement. But basically I like it here. Especially compared to other places I've lived previously, this is a much much better place. So that's something to keep in mind if you're coming from your own home instead of another facility. It was a good choice for me to come here. I like that I get to maintain my independence. I have a large studio apartment all to myself. And I have the freedom to join in activities if I want to, or I can stay in my apartment and just chill out. One area for improvement is the food. They have a lot of carbs in their diet, which I suppose is true of a lot of places. And it has plenty of sodium. I would like to see more fresh food beyond a salad once a day. We don't have fresh fruit or vegetables otherwise. Our so called "chef" overcooks food, including the vegetables. Also, hot food should be hot. Cold food should be cold. Sometimes the hot food is not very hot. Not all the time, but it happens enough. We were told things are going to change, so we'll see. I also know that there diabetics here and kidney patients. I don't know if it's possible or not, but I would like to have a menu with more choices so we can pick food that is more palatable to our conditions. Even so, compared to where I've been, the food is not bad.

i'm happy here. the care is just okay - and that might be due to staffing issues.

I like the community and it suites me. The food is decent, and sometimes better than others. I would recommend the community to others.

We had a good tour with Vista de la Montana. Unfortunately they do not accept individuals who are unvaccinated and my mother is not vaccinated so we had to look elsewhere.

Newer and great community. The distance from family was the downfall for us.

I would recommend Quail Run Estates to others for their loved ones. The level of support from the staff is wonderful. They accommodate my loved one and are happy to do so. My loved one enjoys the food here. There is a very nice dining room on site for the residents to use. They appear to have a lot of activities for the residents. They have a calendar of activities for the residents and families to review.

It's a nice place, and I would recommend it. The main manager is not very nice to family members, but everybody else is nice. My loved one seems to like the food. It tastes good, but I wish they would provide some healthier options for seniors.

This was a nice community but it did not work for my loved one. This community just felt institutional. The location of the apartment and the size of the apartment was not what my loved one wanted. He would have also had to have used a elevator to access everything.

Sheldon Oaks has been very easy to work with. They are going through a transitional phase right now, they were merged under the umbrella with another company. My mother has no problem with the facility and is enjoying her time here. they have been nothing but polite and cordial. They are receptive and accommodating, especially [name removed]. My parents are very religious and they really enjoy the church services and they also enjoy the bus that takes residents out to do things. They could use some more variety with the proteins on their menu, they serve a lot of chicken. Lunch is the main meal and they do offer 2 different things for lunch and a healthy option. My parents do have a really good size apartment with a washer and dryer in the unit. I think they are getting a good value for the services that they are receiving.

Anchor Pointe is a very nice place to live and we have had a good experience here. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Our loved one does not take advantage of the activities but they do have plenty to offer the residents. Based on our experience so far we would recommend the Orchid Terrace to other families.

The Chateau gave us a really nice tour, but I could tell that my mom was not going to fit in with the residents who live here.

We chose Kittery Estates because they had availability immediately and they were needing to move as soon as possible. My sister has a 2 bedroom so the size is ample. I think the food could use improvement, they serve the same things over and over so they need more variety. They do charge extra to take the food to the apartments, so she has been cooking herself instead.

Make sure you get clarity on what you're purchasing. We had some confusion at the beginning. But overall, the people are really nice, and they've done really well at integrating my loved one so far. The food is really good as well.

I would tell others that Village Gate of Farmington is a great place. It is comfortable. The staff are great. The apartments are beautiful. The most difficult thing is the food, and the quality of the food needs to be improved for the residents.

Our family had an in person tour and it was nice, they had different living options and at the time would loved one could of had a private little cottage. However, at the time our loved one was not familiar with Hilton Head Island, and we wanted her to be able to drive around the more familiar parts of town.

Stamford Estates is owned by the same company as the facility that I moved into. I assume it would be about the same, I had a good tour. The grounds were just not as pretty here as they were at the other facility and I love to be outside and walk.

I chose Victorian at McKenzie because I just liked the overall atmosphere of the facility. It is hard coming from a house, but the apartment sizes are adequate for what I need. I would recommend this facility to others looking.
