The staff was very nice, great and respectful. I wasn't super impressed with the food.

The peace of mind that comes with knowing my mom is safe and happy is priceless.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great experience, everyone seemed super friendly but it was just to big and overwhelming for our loved one

Quail Run Estates is a beautiful spot, but not well maintained. It's adequate, but it's okay the way it is right now. They offer educational activities once a day, musical activities a couple times a week, and openings for prayer & reconciliation. My apartment is spacious, and is pretty good. I have a kitchenette and I had to bring in my own furniture. They offer transportation to appointments and stores, but it can be a bit spotty in terms of having them pick you up when they say they will. The food is pretty good. Depending on your level of care and needs, I would recommend it. If you have limited mobility or disabilities, I would not recommend it - but otherwise, I would.

I toured Holiday Willow Gardens and it was very nice, their first impression was a very good one. It was almost as if they had "too much" to offer, I don't think my brother would have fit in there. We chose another community because Willow Gardens wasn't well suited for what we needed.

We had a great tour experience with Holiday Greenwood Terrace. I felt that the facility would have been adequate for my loved one and what she was looking for, but the value for what you got and the location did not work out as good as another place we were looking at.

The only real issue with them is the housekeeping service. It is not reliable and crappy cleaning so my sister in law is doing it which sucks. We have been in contact with management regarding this. The excuse is not enough staff. That has been our only issue

I had a really nice tour with Warburton Place, the facility itself is beautiful. The only reason I did not choose them was because the location is far from my friends and family and I wanted to stay close to them.

We went with Redwood because of the value for the money. The apartment sizes here are great and perfect for his needs. My dad used to be a chef and he said that the food is acceptable but they do not have many dining staff, so by the time it gets to you it is cold or overcooked since it takes a while to get out of the kitchen. He has arranged to have most meals in his room and he really likes that. I like the fact that if you do not show up for 2 meals, they will send someone to check in on you. We would recommend Redwood Retirement to others.

We had a really nice tour expeinrece with Durham Regent, we just felt more comfortable with an other facility that we were looking into at the time.

We chose Stamford Estates because it was a timing thing. The manager was very responsive in terms of not only getting a hold of me but responding what I needed to facilitate a transfer for my mom to the community. The apartment sizes are a decent size, they do have a variety of different layouts that you are able to choose from. The staff have been very accommodating to my mother and I. I did worry in the beginning about how the facility could navigate about what my mother needed especially because it was a quick transfer and she is still adjusting. I have confidence she is in a safe place and that she is well taken care of. It has given me some peace of mind and I really appreciate that. Overall I would recommend them to others looking.

This was a wonderful community and decision for our loved one. I think that the food has not been as good as we had been lead to believe when we went on the interview. It seems like some changes have been made and it seems to be a little more limited meal selections. Other than this it has been nice under the new owner and this may be making a difference or impact on the meals also or it may have happen regardless. They have activities at this community like bingo and chair work outs and more for the residents to stay active. The one thing is that they do not have a price lock lick the last community that we were at and that would be nice.

I had another loved one in the community a few years ago. My loved one that is now in the community, and we were told that the community was sold recently in the last few months. My loved one feels the meals are horrible, and the portions are small. Almost every night they get a box dinner to take back to their room for dinner around lunch time. They are to be having snacks on the counter for the for residents and they are hardly stocked at all. There are times my loved one has asked for additional portions for food, and the community says they didn't make enough for extras. They are to be cleaning my loved one's room each week. I have asked about this at the front desk and they have said they are short staffed. The staff have been tremendously helpful. They have even made an outreach call to me when they thought my loved one was having issues.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is done regular, and well done. Nice to have the bedding changed each week, and everything cleaned. I like having my food prepared for me. I would like less pasta dishes, but the food is good most of the time. The dining room is getting back to normal after Covid 19. The bus service is good! And much needed. My apt is comfortable. Would love to have a small swimming pool!!

I would recommend Kittery Estates overall. I think it is a good place for seniors who may have a little bit of health issues, but nothing too serious.

I've been a little disappointed in the food, although it does seem to be getting better. And I saw on the calendar there's a monthly meeting where residents can attend to speak with the chef. This was a big downsize for us, but we got what they call The Suite, which we do pay extra for. But we have a full kitchen, whereas most of the units just have kitchenettes. And we have 2 bedrooms. The second bedroom is quite small, but the master is a really good size. And they turned the second bathroom into a walk-in closet, which I love. We also have a patio with a walkway to the front of the building, which is convenient. We haven't had housekeeping services yet because they're in between housekeepers. The staff are nice overall, but their communication could be a little better. But for the most part, they're lovely people. Like every place right now, they're short staffed, but I think they're doing the best they can under the circumstances. I'm looking forward to getting involved in the activities. They offer a wide variety, including things like book club, intellectual presentations, and bingo. It's nice to have lots of options that don't seem nursing home oriented. And the residents we've met are delightful as well.

We went with Sheldon Oaks because my friend just really liked lot when I took him to tour and also I knew someone who lived here previously. The apartment sizes are very nice, he picked the smallest because it suited him but we were shown 3 different apartments and all of them seemed great. [name removed] who is the manager is young but very good at what she does. She is sharp, pays attention, and follows through and I have been very impressed with her and we can always reach out to her if needed and she is available. My friend says that the food is ok, but the portion sizes are a little small for him. Overall we would recommend them to others.

This was a nice community. It was too far from family, and more than we could afford.

The meals and dining service experience is pretty much 5 stars, however we do wish at times their social events or activities could be improved .
