Very nice, very pleasant. The monthly fee is a bit intimidating for someone who will be living by himself and preparing most of his own meals. Still, the place has good vibes and is worth considering.

Be prepared to give up your whole paycheck. I think it's been good for my loved one to be around other adults his age, and he's made some friends here. Activities have been shut down due to Covid. As a standard, assisted living communities raise their rates higher than Social Security benefits go up, but we haven't had a renewal at Summerfield yet. So we'll see how things go. The staff has really been good to him here.

There's a [fee removed] one-time hidden charge that was never brought up to us that takes care of the grounds and such. It's completely non-refundable, and we didn't know about it until we received our first bill. You can pay in up to three increments. It's difficult to rate during Covid. The food was good when we first moved in, but then it wasn't very good. They told us they could adjust her diet plan, as it was difficult for her to chew, but mostly she just couldn't eat. It was very clean, and very nice. The cost was in line with others but still seemed somewhat high. The sales lady never brought that charge up, nor did she come to say hello on our move-in date. She was not interested in being very friendly once she sold us. The receptionist was great though, always very pleasant. And the director was pretty good, up until I asked for part of that [fee removed] charge back. I feel like my loved one would have loved it here were it not for Covid.

It is a decent place. The pandemic put a damper on things. My loved one is planning on staying here, and they have made friends in the community. The communication is good with the staff. There has been a change in administration during the pandemic. The food compared to the brochure, is only mediocre. The quality of salads should be green and not white lettuce.

It is really good, except for the food. I believe they are having diff with their chef and there is a problem with the food. The transportation is good and the manager is available to speak to. anytime I have questions. I would like to see more activities for the residents. There is one class for exercise a day, it would be nice to have several times throughout the day for the residents.

There has been a lot of changes since the pandemic. They are not offering rides anymore so my dad is driving when he should not. The food quality has decreased and my dad is unhappy with that. They have also had a lot of turnover in staff and management since he has been here. He does have a lot of friends and he enjoys his time here. They check in on him and help with with a lot of things, so he is definitely happier here than when he was at home. They have had very little cases of covid here so they have done a great job with protecting their staff and residents. They do try their best and I would recommend them to others looking.

[name removed] was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The apts are a little small but nice, the building and grounds are beautiful. This is the one place where a group of the residents engaged with Mom and me... Very nice people... Sadly, Mom feels its too far from where she is now.

We do feel like the community is very clean, and for the most part our loved one is enjoying the food. The activities were originally cancelled due to covid, they were able to bring them back for a little bit, but then someone tested positive so they were cancelled again. We do think the value is really good.

Go and check out this community. My loved one is happy in this community. The communication is good and they return calls in a timely manner. I would recommend this community to others. The community is clean and neat. They are anxious for activities to resume and eager to socialize.

The community is very warm and friendly. They try to do as much as they can. Communication between the family and the staff is very good and they are very prompt keeping us up to date. I would recommend this community to others

Good place, the food isn't as great as we were lead to believe. The communication with the staff is excellent. They are quick to follow up. The room is beautiful and there is an option for patios and balconies. It is not considered a nursing community or home. This did create some hurdles with VA benefits.

They are trying to figure out how to make the meals better at the community, sometimes our loved says there are not as many vegetables as they would like. We do believe they are making a big effort when it comes to the activities, and everything is included in the value.

I chose Maple Downs because of the value for the money. The food here is really good, you have 3 choices every day for each meal and they are chef prepared meals. It is in a great location, close to shopping plaza and is very convenient. I would recommend.

It is good for our loved one in a social aspect, with the passing of her spouse she has made new friends and participating in the activities they offer. They are getting back to normal, and they helped organize the scheduling of the vaccines.

The food they serve at the community needs a lot of improvements, we bring food to our loved one constantly.

We chose Aspen View because they gave us a great deal, they were on top of it and kept in touch with me, and they were very forthcoming with any help I needed. They also have loving hands health care which is a nurse agency that comes in for extra care and they have been awesome. They went above and beyond for us as we had to move my mom while we were out of State. I would tell others that they do not have someone at the front desk 24/7 so that has been an issue. The food is also not good, but they are working on it. Other than those issues, I would recommend them.

I thought it was fine. My loved one hated it, because of the pandemic. It was everything I was looking for in a community for my loved one.

The community has great people. The staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this community to others
