Community has become more "assisted living" than "Independent/Assisted" as advertised.

I am 79 and the resident older or not active. Can't hear predementia. I like my apartment some of the people very cliquish and rude.

This is a great place for any retired person to live. It's beautiful here. You get 3 meals a day - house keeping, activities and entertainment. The staff is wonderful (when they are not short-staffed). I think the food is good. It's not "fine dining" but it's good. I do wish our tables looked prettier.

They have a big up front fee for any damages that may be done, our loved one was not in here long at all. We tried to communicate with them to see if we could get that upfront fee back and they never answered us. We were very upset about that, they were not accommodating or flexible as we felt they should have been.

Enjoy living here, it's my home especially like [name removed] who is very kind and accommodating to everyone.

Indigo Pines ahs a nice combination of friendly residents and caring workers. I am especially grateful that I came to Indigo just as the COVID lockdown began. The community employees kept us healthy and well informed during this difficult time.

My dad lived there for about 4 years. Unfortunately, he has since passed. Im glad the Manor was there for us . It was his final home, somewhere he was safe and cared for. The staff was very friendly and patient with him. [Name removed] was especially someone I trusted. He genuinely cares about the residents and their families and considers them his family. And, the on-site private aide [name removed] was amazing. Reliable, honest, caring and fun. My one recommendation would be to hire additional staff. Certain housekeeping issues sometimes took a while to be resolved and believe that would resolve the problem.

Everyone is very friendly. The place offers a lot for their residents. With the exception of the food, my loved one is very pleased with it. Her main complaint about the food is that it's not soft enough for seniors to chew.

Admission person and assistant manager were friendly and helpful.

The staff and residents have been very friendly and helpful with my mom. I feel that my mom is in a safe environment that truly feels like home.

The friendliness of the staff members and the cleanliness of the community really stood out to us from the beginning. We would recommend this community to others families.

We've had a good experience at Willow Grove. I like the fact that there are people there and a button my loved one can push for help in an emergency. They serve three meals a day. And if she has a problem, they usually address sit. They have a lot of activities and lots of things to do. They come once a week to clean the apartments, which is good. They just don't clean like I clean.

The staff without a doubt is really outstanding. Everyone is very competent and helpful and making sure everyone's needs are met. The Activity Director doing a great job in returning to more activities and social meetings which was cancelled due to Covid pandemic. Our bus driver is truly extraordinary in performing her job trying to get everyone where they need to go is improving.

My son moved here in Durham and I lost my loved of my life, home, so he showed me several places to start my life over and I felt it was nice reasonably close by to where he was and it felt just right to me so here is my home!

My father seems happy in his new living arrangements. He enjoys the food and the friends he has made. The staff has always been welcoming. And there is a lot happening. He especially enjoys playing bridge.

We chose Bluebird Estates because of the overall appearance when you walk in, it is open and airy, the staff were all super friendly, and they were able to get a 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor. They really enjoy the food that they serve, the residents get a menu a week ahead and they have alternatives if it is something that you do not like. They are able to have visitors for lunch which is something they really enjoy that. If there are any problems they jump right on it. The manager [name removed] is awesome, he will bend over backwards for anybody. My parents are very happy here and I would highly recommend the facility to others who are looking.

This is a beautiful place to stay. I love my apartment and get a long with everyone. The staff and the people get a long really well with everyone and I was told that is one of the biggest things when you go to a place. This is a new home .

An amazing community of very special people. And a garden like outdoors with a beautiful lake is a great situation for peaceful living.

This community was really similar to another community that we toured also. It was cheaper than where I am now for the same unit that we have now also it was about availability. I also decided to be closer to family in HI.
