Overall, I am satisfied with my choice. There is room for improvement in the food and the activities, but I have found things that interest me.

I was very impressed with how they worked with me to get me in when I had no place else to go. Unfortunately there were some misunderstandings on my part that have created some problems, but they seem to be willing to work with me so far. I really haven't even had a chance to really get moved in completely, because as so often happens, after being told I would never come back to my mother's house, she needed someone to help her after her surgery, so I've had to spend more time at her house than my apartment. I'm looking forward to getting back next week, and unpacking my boxes. I was actually surprised that I found myself missing the people I had just met at the estates.

It was nice. Location set back away from main streets, but also easy to get to. Recent renovations were lovely. Grounds were carefully manicured and attractive. Offered a variety of room layouts. Many with balconies or patios. They allow residents to have cars. (Which was a determining factor for my father) there were separate areas to meet or gather in . Had small exercise room , hair salon, free laundry facilities on each level, honored Veterans.The other thing my father mildly complained about was the set mealtimes and uninteresting menu options.

my dad is very happy with the place. I do think his room is a little smaller than ideal for him. I know they have different floorplan sizes for each category. ( studio, one bedroom, two bedroom.) so it might be helpful to understand that upfront. It is a more rural location on the edge of Charlotte, which I thought was nice, but not so far from lots of things.

The people are friendly, the surroundings are beautiful, and the facility is very clean. They have 3 good meals every day! The apartment is a decent size! And the monthly rent is reasonable compared to others!

As for the food, more attention paid to everything from prep, quality and presentation would make a big difference in the dining experience for the residents that need and depend on it three times a day, everyday. That is one of the most important things, if not "The most important," event for them. Overall, I would recommend the facility to others.

My mom did not want to go there, she was scared and wanted to stay living with me. We didn't visit other places because Alexis Gardens is right around the corner from me. It didn't take long for my mom to find friends at the meals and activities. She gets involved it it all and LOVES it there. The staff is great!

From start to finish, working with the team at Holiday Regent was so helpful and friendly. The staff is genuinely invested in the well being of their residents. The process to get onboard was simple and straight forward.

The staff is exceptionally nice. Like any large large corporation, it has its issues and usually it takes the toll on middle and lower management. I see that. They try, but their hands are somewhat tied. The issue I have more than anything is that there are people there that belong in supervised care. Their families would rather put them there, out of sight out of mind. And to keep places rented and money coming in, it's accepted. The housekeeping is not what they promise, but I know they are also short of help. I would recommend the place. I think its pricey, but I certainly would recommend it to others.

We went with Forsyth Court because they had a room available on the first floor and the overall value was better than other places we looked. The staff is so helpful and kind.

It's a great place with a lot of amenities, freedom for seniors and great staff. We picked this place for the cost, location, and homey feel. It wasn't over the top fancy.

My loved one is always treated well by the staff members. Whenever I come to visit her, they are very welcoming and friendly to me as well. The staff was also great at answering any questions that we had about the moving process. They have continued to be a great resource for her. My loved one has commented several times that she would like to see some changes happen to the menu. She prefers classic southern cooking (mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, chicken pot pie, beef roast, pork chops, etc.) and would like to see those types of meals on the menu more often. I would definitely recommend Holiday Forsyth Court. I think that the facility is a wonderful value and I have not seen my loved one this happy in a long time. Her mood and outlook on life has greatly improved after moving there. She has made a lot of good friends there as well.

Andover place is very soothing to my nerves. All of the bills I use to have to pay are now included in my rent. I get 3 outstanding meals every day prepared by a chef. It is very quiet and peaceful (if they are not remodeling because of the tornado) I sleep really good. They have cool activities during the day to keep me doing stuff. I have stopped smoking, caffeine, alcohol and other harmful chemicals and I am not sure why I stopped. I just did. No interest anymore. The other people who live here are very intelligent, nice and interesting. I truly love this place, the people and the atmosphere.

People need to know that if their family member lives here they are expected to take care of themselves in all situations. If they get sick the management will not come in and take care of you in any way. The place could be cleaner. The food is often cold. Residents are friendly.

Very accommodating staff. They have made me feel so much better about my Dad's living situation. The whole staff knows him and what his likes/dislikes and habits are. I know I can rely on them to keep me informed and aware of any problems or challenges he's facing in his daily routine. He's not fond of the food and hasn't really engaged in social activities, but seems healthy and in good (for him) spirits when we visit. He even had a family friend from out of town visit and stay a few days in the guest apartment. Let me also add that there is no way we would have found this living arrangement on our own. Huge "thank you" also to A Place for Mom for the help and handholding to find a good fit for my dad as well as the rest of the family

We picked this community because, this was one that our family had used before and we were familiar with.I would recommend this place to others. Good value for the price. The meal choices could be a bit better with more variety according to her.

Before [name removed] moved in I had to completely clean the kitchen area, including washing inside the cabinets. There were pieces of dog or cat food left in 1 of the drawers and leftover loose pieces of food in the cabinet. The handle at the kitchen sink is very hard to use. I thought Housekeeping would be cleaning a little better weekly. Otherwise [name removed] seems to like it there. And has made friends, and likes the staff there.

The cost seemed reasonable. Food provided and the staff at the front desk is really good. Transportation provided during certain days and hours.

It's working well and would recommend to others. We picked this community because the website looked good.

I became less anxious for the needs of my friend because of the services offered.The time, attention to needs, and respect for my friend's situation will make it easy to seek them out again.
