Warburton is well maintained, but the advertise stuff like yoga & Taichi which they do not provide. Food is just okay. The sales person said that it would probably be okay that we donate couple cabinets & a treadmill to Warburton, but that was a big NO from the manager. Staff are generally friendly, but in the dining room I felt like I was the "new kid on the block" with some of the older residences. I was never the popular kid in high school, if you know what I mean. So all in all, I think it is worth it.

This community was chosen for me. I do love the location. Meals are not made for senior citizens: too many carbs, not enough vegetables (when vegetables served you are lucky to get a tablespoon full). Maintenance for individuals is great. Windows and patio could be cleaned more frequently.

The building is very nice as are the apartments. The residents are so friendly. There are many activities. There is transportation to stores and doctor appts. Our only problem has been with management. Prices discussed verbally, original contract “lost”, different price on bill… Everything did finally get worked out but several hours on the phone and time off work. PT, hairdresser, dining staff all are wonderful!

We picked this community because it seemed like a good fit for my dad. Plus, ultimately, he picked. I recommend it to others.

Checked a lot of boxes in my search for a retirement community. Good location, great set of activities, and a varied meal menu. Rooms were a little tight on space.

Need to rotate servers.

What we like the most about Holiday Greenwood is that it is in a convenient location, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They have interim health options, the cost is good and they have options at every meal.

The staff at Orchid Terrace is fantastic. The meals are not so good. They used to be better but most residents have been complaining that the food has bot been good the past 6 months. Food service typically is 20 to 30 minutes late and is usually cold. Dinner does not come to their table until 5:30 pm.

My aunt is a resident at Andover place so I spend alot of time visiting and making sure she is comfortable. I feel that the staff at Andover are my partners in making sure that she has good quality of life. The staff is very helpful and responsive when I need their assistance. I have enjoyed all of the many activities that the Engaged Life Director plans throughout the day/week and feel like he and the other staff work to make this a special place.

I love the people at Summerfield Estates! This means everyone, from the residents to the staff. Everyone has treated me very well, I have no complaints. I have made some very good friends here, I get to hang out and have lunch with them every day.

The food went down hill from the time mother first went in to the time she left. The rent was going up after her year was up. So we made a change. I would give a 3-4 overall. it wasn't horrible. I felt that mother was safe there - that we did not worry about. Could they stand to improve, most definitely.

Overall a good place to live when the meals are tasty and ample. the activities make this place fun and alive. The independent living is a bit of a farce as a lot of residents require additional care. The laundry facilities can be in working order more often.

My mother has lived here going on 2 years. She enjoys everything here, I love that I can have my dog live with me and I have made numerous friends. This feels more like home than any other place that I been for a while.

The interior of the building has just been remodeled. The inside is looking good. The staff seem to be very helpful with a Upbeat attitude! The meals are always served on time and delicious.

The Staff is friendly and cost is good. People there aren't happy with the quality of meals lately. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the cost.

Good staff, with good attitude. Food good and meals are well balanced. Friendly residents, plenty to do. Overall I am well satisfied. Enjoying my life here. I have made some good friends. Very pet friendly.

Your senior living choice can be what you make it. Limited by budget and my own physical limits I found Briarcrest suited my needs. I was not accepted by some assisted living places in my area because I was in a wheelchair and needed more help than they could allot me. Briarcrest had some signup bonuses that assisted me. They are remodeling units for new arrivals and there is the promise of a needed update of the common areas beginning soon. The food is good. All meals and snacks are available and a part of provided room and activities. Staff and residents are friendly and welcoming. This is independent living and I have to pay for needed help but my budget allows it after paying the reasonable rate at Briarcrest.

I enjoy the activities. I get along with the staff which is important. The whole staff, you could not ask for better. It means a lot to me that the whole staff is considerate. [name removed] looks after the entertainment part and she brings in really good entertainment. She does exercise classes. I really enjoy the activities that I participate in. I enjoy the layout of the suite. I have room to setup my puzzle table. The view from my balcony is so important. Just being out in the fresh air is good. I feel safe to leave my door unlocked when I am in my room. The housekeepers do a great job cleaning my room. The home care from [name removed] does a good job keeping me safe.

Our stay at Holiday Jackson Oaks was only for 6 months, then we moved to a single family house. Carefully consider if you are ready for community living - if you are looking for independent living, not assisted living.

Staff is friendly and accommodating. Although they said they had wifi, and they do, it is so weak, we had to purchase a private service to get phone & TV working consistently. Food and choices could improve, but that could be a personal taste. For the money, seems to be a good choice so far.
