I'm very pleased with Andover Place. The food is good, the people are very helpful, I'm enjoying the activities and the friendships. Overall I'm very satisfied with Andover Place.

I looked at 8 different senior living facilities before my mom and I chose Greenwood Terrace for her. The floor plans are spacious, the staff and residents are friendly and the price is very affordable. Greenwood happened to be the last destination on our places to visit and it ended up being the best.

We like it very much. It's clean, and everyone is friendly. The average age here is 75-85. They have a swimming pool, and three meals a day. It's a very nice setting, and we are really happy with it.

When searching for a place for my mom we checked out Willow Gardens. They were so friendly and really made Mom feel at home. It was homey, included 3 meals daily in the cost so she would not have had a full kitchen in her apartment, but also no need to cook. Ultimately she chose another place because it was closer to the family when I was out of town, but if that had not worked out, this would have been her choice. We were there during a community celebration and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and we were invited for lunch, but unfortunately had already eaten. Not as elegant as some places, but so charming and friendly.

The staff are very nice and friendly. The good is very good with quite a bit of diversity. This is an independent senior apartment complex with prepared meals so it is not really an assisted living facility. It is clean and the residents are all friendly as far as we can tell. They allowed mom to do a one month trial and even let her do it in a furnished apartment, they want it to work out too.

Rancho Village was a great place for my late mother to live until her need for services progressed beyond those available to her there. The staff were capable, considerate, friendly, patient and responsive. They truly cared for my Mom and she quickly came to regard them as personal friends. The other residents were welcoming and friendly and helped one another, including my Mom, in participating in the many available activities. Mom's room was clean and comfortable and the rates were the best that could be found for any facility with comparable accommodations. I would strongly recommend Rancho Village as a great place for a concerned family member to move their beloved elder.

Personally feel if the facility weren't in mid-Hades of AZ I'd consider moving in myself (I'm a NW wimp) - if just for the meals. Great staff throughout, though one of the male managers comes off a little imposed upon when requests are made for my new resident Mom. But for the most part, can't beat the great accommodations, staff, user-friendly layout, great residents, services/outings, and absolute homey-ness of the furnishings. Sure appreciate them making a difficult situation as easy on all involved in the transition as possible!

Working with Peg at a place for mom we were able to find a place for our uncle in just 3 phone calls, I had been trying to research assisted living on line for 2 weeks and kept getting directed to other parts of the country. Our first visit to Maple Suites we met Susan and she removed all our concerns. During the tour we were so impressed with how beautiful everything was, the people were friendly and welcoming. We wish we could move here! When we left we both said the same thing it looks like a cruise ship! Can't wait to move in ourselves in a few years. Susan and Peg were great and took care of all the details so all we had to do was take care of our uncle and his move.

The management team is very friendly and supportive. Terrie, the sales person, is personable and knowledgeable. Our dad is happy and enjoying his experience there. The price is competitive and the activities are frequent and varied.

Pinegate has been just what we needed for my brother @ this time.We really love it here.

Alexis Gardens is a Holiday community, and they were so accomodating! My loved ones were moving to a different state, but I wanted them to see this place first! The staff all knew that my loved ones were not going to move in to this particular location, but they were accomodating anyway! They gave my loved ones a meal, showed us around, and told us all about their programs and that they have their managers on site. I was sold by Holiday communities!

An independent living facility, so no medical staff or help unless you hire it on your own. Lots of activities and very friendly people. Very nice grounds.

My dad, 96, is now a resident after visiting in February, 2014. He was very hesitant about what to expect and was pleasantly surprised at the facility. He has been there about a month and seems to be really enjoying Durham Regent.

The food is excellent, and the service is excellent. They have a really good chef and the plates are hot when they are supposed to be and cold when they are supposed to be. I really hate not having my own washer and dryer in my unit you have to go down the hall and wait for the housekeeping staff to finish their laundry. I don't have a kitchen. I like the social aspect, having people nearby to socialize with. They allow pets. They need some storage, there is no storage available.

So far they've done a very good job here. When we first moved our loved one in they had some really outstanding and friendly people, but unfortunately they had some staff turnover and lost many of those people. They've also got a very good variety of activities, events, and other forms of entertainment. The one complaint my loved one has had about the activities is that she'd like to see some slightly more modern movies being played.

I found Edgewood to have everything needed for my Mom. We were looking for something about half way between Hillsboro and West Linn and easy to get to. Mom has been there only a five days so she is still in the honeymoon stage so to speak. She seems very satisfied with her choice, even though she had to make some very hard choices in downsizing into a studio apartment. The people that live there seem to be out and about most of the time, no matter what time I have stopped by. From a Super Bowl Party to Bean Bag Baseball, Dominos, and Cards. I saw residents walking their dogs, coming back from an outing and playing cards on the computer in the library. We were encouraged to stay for a meal on our tour, but Mom was too tired to stay so we came back on a Saturday when my brother could also join us. The presentation of the food and service in the dinning room was very nice. My Mom loves roses and was excited to see a rose garden in the court yard. I am hoping that she will feel up to going out in the coming spring to walk the grounds, but if not there are some very nice areas to just outside and sit.

They have housekeeping once a week. They take their bus of twenty to see the plays at the theatre. They do three full meals a day in the dining room, and the food is very good, a five out of five. I suppose you can always have more activities and events scheduled. We looked at five different places and he knew that this is where he wanted to be. The people that were living there, when we visited were very nice and seemed happy and excited to have him there.

Uffleman estates is a wonderful place to live. I have been here a week and everyone here has been friendly and kind. The food is delicious and the staff if extremely helpful. My apartment is small, but very nice. I was allowed to bring my long time pets and that makes living here good. Th other residents have accepted me. I have heard my name used more in the week I have been here, more than I had heard it in the last six months. Every ones speaks to and asks how I am. I am so pleased that I choose Uffleman Estates!
