My parents have been at this facility since November 2022. Although we have been very pleased with their care, our satisfaction has increased greatly since my Mother's death in March. Their care and concern for my Father and my family has been above our expectations!

My experience with the staff has found them to be prompt, diligent and courteous. Except when they are short staffed who do not show up then slow to answer call button. Not all meals are to my taste. They do well 85 to 90 percent of the time.

3 meals a day is wonderful but only certain times for each. Not great for late risers. Getting emergency lab work isn't an option. Doctor visits are sporadic and doesn't seem to be consistent care. In fact there are no doctors that visit just nurses. Communication between care team and resident (or family) severely lacking.

I feel that they are open to conversation about what is best and if you tell them your concerns and what you need they try to address it. I am much happier with my parents here than the previous place! They are more professional, it's cleaner and the attitudes of workers is much better. Heritage Green is a facility that I would recommend.

I would definitely recommend it. My sister likes being with other people her age and getting to spend time with others playing games, watching movies and going on trips in the bus to lunch or just taking a scenic ride. It is warm, bright and cheery inside.

This facility has been pretty good so far. The staff is very friendly. The food seems to be good, good quality and variety. My loved one has eaten in the dining room a few times and it's really nice and clean. She mostly has her meals delivered to her room, though. I will say, Communication with the family could improve. Trying to get medical information/updates on my loved one is pretty difficult. If you need information, you have to seek it. They're pretty good about responding when I call, but they don't ever call me or reach out to me unless I've reached out to them first. Overall, I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Our family had an in person tour and based on the overall tour experience and the staff we had encounter we thought it was really nice and the community itself was very nice.

I find that overall everything is about as congenial and friendly as it can be. It seems to adjust to most everyone's lifestyle. There will always be room for improvement.

I hope i give an honest accurate assessment of Chestnut Knoll. These are the things, i believe, that are Chestnut's strong positives : 1) the aides who give assistance to Mom (Mom has never complained about anyone!) 2) the quiet atmosphere in the rooms & hallways (2nd floor/the 300's) 3) quick responses after activating the help button (Mom wears) 4) Mom enjoys most of the foods provided 5) excellent & friendly assistance provided on the transport bus :) 6) Mom tells us she enjoys the quiet atmosphere in her room, the foods, the people ( both employees & other residents ), the activities, friendships w/ residents, aides, etc., 7) enjoyable outdoor area behind the dining room 8) Mom loves that her room's window looks out into the outdoor (porch) area. And she enjoys watching the trees's branches move on breezy days :) 9) Mom really likes the hairdresser's care 10) Excellent help provided by the nursing team:)

The staff are kind and knowledgeable and make it pleasant to be here. It would be nice if there was an updated phone system to make it easier to get a hold of staff. Also, the brick walkway can be difficult to walk on with a walker in the garden area.

Initially, my friend needed a place to stay short term . However he likes the place and the people and has lengthened his stay and us considering long term stay. The people there are friendly and very helpful.

Staff and facility were well presented and we left with a positive opinion and feelings.

Everything here is good for me. You do what you need to do. Staying in my own home would have been my choice, but I wasn’t able to.. This is the next best choice for me. I have made many friends here.

We picked this community because, when visiting my loved one really liked it. I would like to see more staff on my loved ones floor. It's a good community. We made a good choice.

Being able to place my wife into Sr.Com's memory care wing was a great relief for me. I had a heart attack in May 2021. Sr. Com's took good care of [name removed]while I was hospitalized. I was then able to rent an apt right up the hallway from [name removed]'s room. This enabled me to see and interact with [name removed] every day. There were some days when things could have been better, but Sr.Com's was suffering the same fate as all the other care facilities. A severe shortage of experienced staff. That has all changed now for the better. The entertainment and activities offered for all of the residents is excellent.

My experience comes from visiting a relative within the community. I found the building to be clean and the staff very warm and friendly. There were many residents out and about attending activities and visiting with each other on the porch and in other areas of the building. I was not there during a meal time but my relative has never complained about the food. Overall, I have no complaints and found Senior Commons to be a very nice place. Our family is very happy with our choice.

I think Senior Commons is a nice place and would recommend it to other people. Everybody was very friendly. They kept us informed. Anytime there was an issue, they would call me, no matter what time it was - which I appreciated. My loved one didn't complain about the food. It's expensive, but every place is.

It was a well established community. They offered a lot of activities. The staff was friendly. It was a lot more expensive.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a little older community, the hallways were a little darker and just not a lot of light coming in. They did have a nice outdoor area though.
