My mother is very happy there. The only downside so far is that because of the elevator being out of service she is having to find another place to stay for those days. She has limited mobility. She is unable to get to the dining room.

Overall we have been very pleased. Traditions of Hershey has been a great fit for my Nana. They have been open about my nana's needs and helped my family and I to get the additional care she needed and has worked with hospice care as a team. We very much appreciate that level of care and service.

The Birches ratings would be higher if training and oversight of the care staff were improved. I would recommend this community to other families but but ask a lot of questions about quality of recruiting, training and oversight of care delivery staff. I go directly to staff with concerns and have found them responsive.

I would say they are lovely. The residents seem happy, and the place seems lively. I love that they offer happy hour and other community events every week, have a community garden, etc.They couldn't afford to stay in their 1 bedroom, so had to move to a 1 room studio. Rent is $[name removed]/month.

My mother stayed in the memory care wing of Manor at Marketplace for two weeks. It was an easy process to arrange from initial information gathering to touring the facility to completing the paperwork to the actual stay. The staff were all friendly and informative. My mother was comfortable and well cared for while I was out of state. I was able to call and speak with her as well as with the staff. I would recommend the Manor at Marketplace to anyone looking for short term respite care or for something more permanent.

My loved one is currently a resident at Manor At Market Square and overall, the experience has been good for her at this facility. The cleanliness and the meals are great. The friendliness is good. My loved one doesn't participate in any of the activities and doesn't leave her room. I wish that they would get her out more.

My dad was there for about 8 months but is now deceased. He really did like it there, though, and thought the staff was friendly and helpful They plan so many activities, including field trips, so this aspect is outstanding. Everyone seemed to like the food. The only negative is that sometimes staff is rushed/ short on time (possibly short staffed?) so unable to dedicate time to patients
