What I like is the value for the money we pay. The Manor is affordable without feeling cheap. My mom is settling in and doesn't complain about everything.

Although Mom's stay was only nine days, they were very happy to accommodate her. She was a little lonely, but also too shy to socialize. This was new to her of course, and from her comments I am not looking forward to the time when her stay has to be permanent. Overall, I am happy they took care of her!

Very comfortable surroundings. Well maintained facility, clean and up to date. Very competent staff, friendly and genuinely interact with and care about each and every resident. Adequate leisure time activities for entertainment and physical fitness.

The staff is excellent and goes above and beyond. The partnership with Chestnut Knoll is one of the key reasons we are there. The opportunity to have my dad be in independent living, but also have medication assistance is perfect. I also have the peace of mind knowing that if he needs additional services down the road, they are available. The reason I am not giving it a 5 is the aged decor. I believe they are actually doing some remodeling soon and that would probably bring it up to a 5. My dad's only other complaint is that he is not always a fan of the food. But my dad was at [community removed] briefly, before going to Keystone Villas. And that place had amazing food!

Overall, the staff is very nice and my mom is adapting to her new place. The maintenance is poor and needs much improvement ; I've had to clean the bathroom in my mothers room bc it's always dirty, I purchased a large black trash bin and placed a note on it that it belongs to her room... the black trash bin has been replaced with white one and my sign applies to it.. and too often there is no toilet paper. I had to purchase extra to keep In her closet. Room size is sufficient, my mother enjoys the meals and daily entertainment and trips is great!

What we like the most about the community is that it is very clean. Staff is attentive but I'm not sure if it is properly staffed on weekends if there was an emergency. Nobody seems to be in charge

Pro: vast majority of staff are caring, polite, and patient. The place is new, just 1 1/2 years old. It's kept clean and orderly. Cons: the food is horrible and portions are small and not nutritionally balanced. There send to be a lot of staff turnover. understand these 2 issues to be be common among assisted living facilities.

Heritage Green encourages double occupancy rooms which can be difficult. The rooms are small, and therefore crowded; especially with wheelchairs or other necessities. Memory care (my stepmom) is highly recommend. Assisted Living (father) is moderate recommendation.

A top-notch facility with a caring staff. A large variety of activities for the residents, both internal and external. Very happy my mother is able to live here. The food quality can certainly improve.

I feel the staff is attentive and friendly to the residents, the quality of the food and variety offered is excellent -is a good value if you're coming to visit and have dinner breakfast lunch with your parent it's a good deal. Facilities are modern clean fresh look. Does not give hospital or old people home feel or vibe - lots of energy with activities and people seem happy.

I am very pleased overall. I appreciate the home like atmosphere of Traditions. I have formed many new friendships. I lived in Florida for 62 years and didn't know what to expect moving up here to be closer to my niece. Traditions has given me a new home.

The staff are very friendly and caring. My mom has no complaints about the food. The facility has quite a few benefits that I wasn't expecting, such as an in-house doctor/PA, and the facility is very accommodating with different levels of service for individual needs. Overall, it's a nice place!

I know my standards are high because of working in healthcare. But they are so much better than [community removed].

The staff are very friendly and the environment feels like home. The building is all on one floor so no stairs or elevators for residents or families to deal with. Communication between the staff between shifts could/ should be improved. Activity directors are amazing. Having hair care in house is nice.

It is an enjoyable experience here being able to interact with the other residents and the staff. The meals are very tasty and enjoyable. I would much rather live here around people like me than at my home by myself or with a caregiver. Here you see a variety of people.

Overall I would give The Birches 4.. In the beginning the food wasn't good but now it is. The staff are great.

Everyone is helpful and everyone tries to do their best.

I was at another community and they couldn't take care of me. Here they are able to and I've had no problems.

It's truly very good, I can't complain. Housekeeping was not good in the beginning as they were short people, but it has gotten better. I really do like what is offered here.

I really like it. The Birches is very clean, the staff are nice and the meals are pretty good too. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I would like to add that [name removed] in Marketing has been such an angel. Even after mom moved in she was still very helpful. :)
