When the time comes, we know Keystone Villa at Douglassville will be our forever home. From the moment we walked in, we felt a sense of warmth and community that’s hard to find. The staff are welcoming, the residents are friendly, and the whole place just feels like home. We love the beautiful apartments, the activities, and the peaceful atmosphere. We aren’t ready quite yet, but when we are—this is exactly where we want to be.

My wife and I have toured Keystone Villa at Douglassville several times. We’ve also attended several events too. This has allowed us to get a very real feel for what community looks like there. The staff is very inviting and accommodating. They always remember us and are happy to see us. The apartments available are very nice. The activity calendar is amazing. We enjoy their monthly newsletter that is done by a gentleman that lives there. We also like that they provide a lot of educational seminars. And all the music and entertainment is wonderful. When the time is right, this will be the community we choose.

We moved from Florida to Keystone Villa at Douglasville without seeing it. We wanted to be closer to our kids. I feel as thought the staff are my friends and family. Everyone is so caring and helpful. Housekeeping does a fantastic job. Food is phenomenal. I've made a few great friends and I feel supported with taking care of my husband.

Just on a whim I decided to take a tour of this villa. When my son checked it online he and his wife wanted to go with me. I had put $[removed]down on an apartment. I moved in Dec. I have been so happy its like living on a perpetual cruise. The residents and the staff are so nice, so kind. There is always something to do. I love it here.

The staff here is the best. If you have any questions they will help you out and get the answer for you. We do a lot of great things here, great trips. I will tell anybody who asks about where I live to check it out. A great place to live.

The people who work here are awesome. The people who live here are very nice as well.

Safety, memory care patients had no ability to 'escape' without badging and code. Very well lit and it was clean with the bright lighting. Tour prior to drop off was insightful and gave me comfort about where I was leaving my Dad. Share rooms helped reduce cost but cost should likely have been lower. Responsive staff to any request I made (maint, meds, food,etc).

Staff was caring and kind, they made it easier for both mom and our family. I would recommend.

Every place has their ups and downs, and this place does, but after being at [name removed], which was the worst place ever birches was 10x better it was so clean. He had a beautiful room where he can have his own full-size bed, a loveseat, couch, and a La-Z-Boy. I need a full-size bath with a walk-in shower and the window looked out on their path that they were able to walk out on it felt like his own room at home and that alone in itself was worth it. It was a little cheaper than [name removed] Also [name removed] on the higher scale so his was [amount removed] a month the meals were much better here and once all the staff member got acquainted with [name removed] and realized his needs and realized I was there all the time. I was a very strong advocate and they grew to know that and that's what everybody needs to know or needs to do they need to be a very strong advocate for whoever their family member is that has to go to any place. My husband even looked at me the day after we brought him here to birches and he looked at me and said thank you I just cried his room in the hallways was like a hotel you would walk into to your own room beautiful kept clean walking into the facility itself was like walking into a top scale hotel but again I don't care what the inside looks like as long as the care is there that is the most important

Keystone provides the opportunity to continue to serve the community. That was a requirement for me! The Ambassador program also allows us to help support new residents and introduce them to all the resources we have.

Very helpful staff. Activities keep everyone active and there is always something to do. The menu is varied offers a good and varied selection of food. Everybody is friendly. The place is very welcoming and everybody genuinely helps one another.

My apartment is set-up well and comfortable. The caregivers are very good. The food is excellent. I remain impressed with The Birches.

Family like environment with caring staff dedicated to their work! Yes, we would recommend the community to other families. We looked at several sites and this structure and layout works well. No elevators, no complex locations for various services makes it easier to adapt and adjust to.

We were so impressed by our experience at Keystone Villas. Although my father-in-law was only in memory care for a short time before his passing, it was a wonderful place where he received excellent care. What especially stood out to us was the compassion delivered by the caretakers, the beautiful facility/grounds, and vast activities they offered the residents. My grandmother also very much enjoyed her time there. We would recommend it to anyone seeking assisted living for a loved one whether it be independent, personal, or memory care. Rest assured they will be in good hands.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. A lot of activites for residents. Food is good. The facilty is very clean. My parents have been there for a couple of months now and seem to enjoy it. They enjoy the interactions with other residents.

When I first came, I was very impressed with the patience and friendless of everyone, it helped make my decision to come here. I'm very satisfied with everything.

In the Lynchburg area, this facility came the most recommended by people we knew who had experiences at other places. So my [age removed] dad moved in back in January, and he has had a good experience. We would recommend Heritage Green to others.

The Birches has been a wonderful home for my mother. We were looking for excellent care, engaging activities, a connection to a Jewish community, good value, and a location close to family—and The Birches has delivered. The transition was a big one, but she’s genuinely happy, and I’m deeply grateful. The staff are caring, attentive, and responsive. Her apartment feels like home, and she participates in everything from games and art projects to live music and holiday celebrations. While the building is a bit older, it’s clean and well-maintained, and the dining areas are warm and bright. We’d love more menu variety, but the team actively seeks feedback and is working on improvements. Most importantly, we have peace of mind knowing she’s safe, supported, and thriving in a community that truly cares.

Friendly, courteous and helpful. Very clean. Price, product, location stuck out over other places.
